  1. FYI...the hood release cable and the unclaimed electrical connector are not chassis related. Brett, he has an air dryer and most likely has three drain lanyards.
  2. You can get the fault code from the LBCU by going to the Diagnostic menu.
  3. Thanks for the post. Just verified mine are correct.
  4. You have to wonder how many are replaced and the "broken one" is tossed when it could be repaired.
  5. They didn't charge me when they gave me a trade-in value 2 years ago. I guess they changed their policy.
  6. Newmar does have a 24/7 number. The number is on a decal located on the drivers window. I recommend he communicates his displeasure with his new coach directly to Newmar rather than setting it up that Newmar didn't respond to his concern posted on this site. Newmar does monitor the Newmar forum on iRV2, Carl. I've never seen them respond to any question or concern however.
  7. Shane...don't start bashing Newmar for such a petty thing and for your information, Newmar does not monitor this forum so you're wasting that effort. Maybe next time you should buy a Newell or Prevost so it will be customized to your requirements. I understand why you left iRV2 and I also know the other side of the story.
  8. Joe, maybe we need to have a FMCA sanctioned smoke off, what do you think?
  9. Well, I didn't do a brisket but I did do homemade Mac n Cheese and pork chops on my pellet grill.
  10. If its that important to find this weekend, you can call Freightliner 24/7/365 at 800-385-4357. You will need the last 6 of the VIN. Welcome to the Newmar family.
  11. As you know, Bill, very few FMCA members participate or are even aware of this forum so it doesn't surprise me you didn't have any responses.
  12. Herman, there has been an overwhelming positive response regarding Blue Ox customer service. I don't understand some folks idea of good customer service anymore I guess. I've been using Blue Ox for the past 12 years with no issues and like you, I've always received good response when contacting customer service and will continue using them.
  13. I received my renewal premium notice today from The Hartford through AARP, the annual premium went down $132 and I had a $15,000 claim this spring.
  14. I challenge you on that comment, RayIN. The 2015 Jeep Wrangler I had required for 0W-20 or 5W-20. The quick lube place made a mistake I used 5W-30. I didn't get a block before the oil light came on. Turned around, they drained and used the correct weight oil and the light went off. Sorry OP, I don't want to hijack the post but I wanted to correct a statement or at least how it related to my Jeep.
  15. Is it possible the oil pan could have been changed at so point to a larger oil pan?
  16. Thanks for the LO explanation. I suggest you go to the local Ford dealer and explain your situation. They should be able to tell you if you have the correct dipstick and I can't imagine they would charge you much to change the oil and then you would know. If you choose to change it yourself, maybe an auto supply place will allow you but please do not change it in a Walmart parking lot or any other parking lot without getting permission.
  17. I'm sorry, but what is LO? I first thought she was referring to Low Oil. The LO stated it never showed on the dipstick before, possibly the correct amount of oil has never been added after oil changes.
  18. With a charge line connected you could have left the battery connected and used the Patriot as designed. Maybe you need to get rid of it and go to a different system. I can see everything Blue Ox does from here on will not please you. I believe WayneM tows a MKX so maybe he will chime in soon. I'm not sure what braking system he uses.
  19. I'm not familiar with this system but will say, why didn't you simply run a charge line from the motorhome and wire the Patriot as designed? I understand Blue Ox voiding your warranty, you aren't using it the way it was designed to be used.
