Does anyone out there remember "Bon Ami". It came in a spray can and was used on windows. I remember stations used it when washing cars by hand. (did I tell on myself?). I would love to have several cans for the DW to use when cleaning the windows. Herman

Joe, the OP'er rfsod48, asked about the weather and winter Texans on South Padre Island. Maybe a new topic on golf should be started. It would make a good topic for many here on the Forum. Thanks Herman

Time to get back to the OP. Weather and winter Texans in Padre Island. Herman

Joe all of my devices continue at 4g until I reach 25gb. Then all are throttled back to 3g. Herman

Venrick1, First Welcome to the Forum. I have the MiFi Jetpack. and when we got ours I kept my data plan with ATT&T for a couple of months. I then lowered it from 16 gb to 10 gb. When I hit 25 gb on the MiFi I just go to my hotspot. I have no issues with the Verizon MiFi until I reach 25 gb which isn't too often. I saved the price of the unit by lowering my data plan. From what I have heard it is the same with all Unlimited Data Plans. Herman

Bsw, Welcome to the Forum. I for one keep our coach plugged in while in storage (which isn't too often). For me it keeps all the batteries charged and the fridge cold and ready to go. Help me out thought, I am not familiar with a 2015 DS. Herman

In their catalog and in the Store Camping World has a sign on a Stake that read Occupied or something like that. Is is to hopefully to eliminate that from happening. I suspect it is used for the most part in COE, State, BLM and or Federal Parks that sometimes are if its open take it. Herman

John, When I fill up I just drop one side. I do not have Jacks just air. I wouldn't use a jack to raise one side. When I dump the air on one side it lowers the entire side and doesn't torque the chassis. I would be afraid of that with hydraulics. Also most all truck lanes are Asphalt soaked in diesel and is soft. (for some unknown reason jacks love to sink into soft asphalt and not come out) The reason coaches with air bags but not air leveling want you to dump your air, is to lower the unit as much as you can before extending the jacks so they will not have to travel so far to level. Around the 1/4 level (on the gauge). However I notice that like even automobiles the gauge will show full for some time but when it begins to go down it drops rapidly. Herman

I think I will start a new Topic " Ole Wives Tales" First one. Excessive use of the Exhaust Brake will cause your Hoses to harden and break or leak. Herman

John, I have gotten a few looks and only one question. When I told the trucker why he just nodded his head OK. As Joe said when you pull forward after filling the coach will be level in just a few second. Joe, I had never thought about the tank being larger then stated in the manual. I do know that when I tilt and fill my Trip Tec says I have 124 gallons, and will read the same after 80 to 100 miles. Carl, As to your AH keeping going below the 1/4 tank mark must be in the way the float is or pickup tube is set. My tank will tell me I am at the LOW FUEL mark and when I fill up it will take maybe 80 gallons. We both used our AHs quite a bit this last week. Herman

Richard, no I have never had a problem with expansion. While on the road I will generally try to fill up in the morning when all is cool. Then during the day I hope for the fuel to expand. Will I get more fuel to burn, heck I don't know. It is just something I heard about too many years ago to count. First click or top off it is just a matter of choose. Herman

I doubt that someone would go into a bay and steel your pump. That being said, and I am not trying to be smart, have you ever seen the pump? On your coach on the passengers side right in front of the rear wheels there should be a bay door with no handle visible. it is secured with latches under the bottom edge. Right in front should be a bay door where you should find your water pump. Hope you can find your pump there and diagnose the problem. I have an 2002 Dynasty so send me a PM if I may help. Herman

Check Out Our New Verizon MIFI Benefit!
hermanmullins replied to larrypennington's topic in Membership/Benefits
cthomp, Sorry for you problems. May we have a bit more information? Is your issue with Verizon, FMCA or both? Please, on Monday contact Dan Ball at FMCA and let him know what and where you are having a problem. dball@fmca.com Herman -
If you have an old pump up sprayer try cutting off the spray tip and put a small bit of oil in it. and see if it will push the oil out. I use one filled with Distilled water for my Batteries and it works fine. But I don't know if the viscosity of the oil would be too thick for the pump to handle. Herman
