  1. Joe, No I have only three switches. Under Bath Sink, under the Kitchen sink and one in the wet bay. I always turn the one in the wet bay off when filling the water tank. And then I forget to turn it back on when finished. Then I hear "HERMAN WE HAVE NO WATER! Opps, Herman
  2. RR2, When I have the 8 wheels on our coach Balanced it cost $25.00 per wheel. I don't do it that often but I do monitor the tires all the time for cupping. Herman
  3. Again Billy, Welcome and don't be a stranger. Herman
  4. Richard, That is a real issue when in trying to get into the coach, but it could be a really big issue if you were trying to get out. I have seen in the FMCA Magazine a small gutter cap that diverts the water away from the coach. CW calls it a "RV Rain Gutter Spouts, 4-pack $8.79." This may help stop the rain from running down the door and into the dead bolt. Herman
  5. Billy, First, Welcome to the Forum. Looking at your picture, which by the way is very good, the terminals look like they could stand a cleaning. I would remove the ground cable on the chassis battery. (remember to reconnect it when thru cleaning) Then one at a time remove the wire and or cable from each post or terminal. Clean them to bare copper. I say one at a time so as to not cross any wires. If this helps Ho Raw. If the issue continues you most likely have a solenoid that is on its last leg. It's trying but is about to die. A replacement would be in order. Please let us know what you find. Good Luck. Herman
  6. Joe, Thanks for the diagram. I had never thought too much about the pumps wiring. Either it was on of off. Now it makes since to me. Thanks, Herman
  7. Joe, It's been a very long time since my face was green when shaving. Been there, done it and have the scars to show for it. Herman
  8. Bill I did inspections then. You had to test drive the vehicle, check all the lights, wipers and check the head lights with a machine for proper adjustment and you could not do it on in the rain. You are also correct all inspections and Registrations came due on April 15th each year. Herman
  9. Bill, We have a 2002 Dynasty and had the same problem with our door. Tried every thing but nothing worked. Then I went in behind the door panel. To get in behind the panel you must remove the inside door handle, the dead bolt and the outer door frame, just the one on the opposite side to the hinge. Then very gently pull the door panel out so you can see inside. There you will see a rod coming down from the handle. loosen the top nut about a turn and a half. Then tighten the bottom nut up. With a screw driver close the catch for the bottom strike bolt then pull the outside handle up. If the catch doesn't pop open then repeat with the top and bottom nuts again about another one and a half turns. then repeat testing the catch. On my coach it took about three tries before I got it right. Then reverse the process you used to get into the door. Caution: Do Not Pull Too Hard On The Panel It i Thin And Can Break. Good Luck, Herman
  10. Mike, From what I understand is doing away with it completely. Herman
  11. Mike, Your coach looks nice. Just tell anyone that mentions the your decals that they are just aging lines like they have. You can tell them you have an appointment with a world renowned Surgeon to have your crows feet removed. Besides if you really enjoy the Wine Tour, you wont notice the imperfections or possibly anything else. Then give James or Jennifer a call at Xtreme Graphics to have the decals removed and painted on. 936-560-5888 Herman
  12. Welcome to the Forum. You should have no problem. The only one I see is you are leaving way too late. Herman
  13. Great, how many fuses did you find blown? Herman
  14. Yes, both turning radius and overhang. Both of these can be answered by calling Tiffin. 256-356-8661 Herman
  15. Clean the case as well as you can. Place a piece of card board under the coaches engine and transmission. Start it up but don't move it and let it idle for a while. This should build up pressure in the engine and transmission oils. Kill the engine and look at the card board and see where to oil may be coming from. Even when Clean, driving will blow the grease back and make it hard to locate the source. Sitting still the fluids should drop straight down. Herman
  16. spieg, Welcome to the Forum. Take a tape and measure from the drive axle center to the center of the tag. Then subtract it from the 296" I just measured the distance between the two hubs on my coach and it is 44". The tires on my coach are 295/80R-22.5. Hope this helps Herman
  17. Kay, that may be the 200 amp fuse the OP replaced. It is still my opinion that the Batteries are not wired correctly. If when hooking them back up and Blew a 200 amp fuse there is definitely something amiss. Herman
  18. jengle, 14 is very doable. When in Cody be sure and visit the Buffalo Bill Museum. They have a very extensive display of weapons and some of the finest western art on earth. You will need at least a whole day to do it justice. If you plan on taking advantage of the Hot Sulphur baths in Thermopolis be sure to take bathing suits and towels that you can throw away when finished. You can never get the smell of the Sulphur out of them. Herman
  19. OK fellows, we all agree there are many drive systems for Screws. Slotted, Phillips, Hex, Torx (both 6 and 8 point), Square, Tamper Proof and the list goes. If there weren't so many how would we be able to fill all the drawers in our tool boxes. If you have purchased and Sheet Rock screws lately you will find that they are all Torx (6 point) drive and they put a driver bit in each box. Now get to screwing installing or tightening those many loose fasteners on and in your coach. Don't forget the entire tray of screw drivers and bits. Herman
  20. In the very first picture, on the right side there appears to be 4 more fuses. The one on the upper left side also appears to be blown. Am I just seeing things??? Herman
  21. Backpacker, Most later model TVs have a selection for the input, Antenna, cable, satellite, DVD and HDMI 1 or 2. Check to see if it is in the correct input. Herman
  22. It is hard to do maintenance on any thing when some of the same parts will have both SAE and METRIC on the same item. I have a really hard time on the larger MM sizes. Herman
  23. Grant, Stop the next Snap-on Tool Truck or Matco Tool truck when you see one at a garage. One of them should have them. By the way, I helped introduce the Camcar TORX screw to Lufkin Trailers in Lufkin, TX back in 1969. A very good socket head cap screw. Just a tid-bit of information, on the Space Station, every bolt and nut are 7/16th. only one wrench or socket needed. Herman
  24. Blake, I believe he is about 6 or 7 miles away in Weatherford. That could be a good visit when there. Herman
  25. Would anyone out there that would like to have a Forum Rally say this June? There is a nice RV Park, Coffee Creek in Santos, Texas. Santos is on I-20 and US 281. Please let me know and I would be happy to set it up. When I know how many I can calculate the cost. Here are my thinking. Days of the week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Breakfast Friday & Saturday Mornings. (there should be a chef or two in the group) Three dinners, some prepared in house , Catered (Great Bar-B-Que close by) or even go to a restaurant. Herman
