  1. 77 miles from Sargent, TX to Galveston, TX. We are taking a bit longer route, going to Waco and take 77 down. Just staying away from Houston. Herman
  2. I have site #5 and have the large grassy area beside the site. We also have site 3 an 7. Yes they have full H/Ups. We will be there on the 10th to the 14th. This will be our first time there. 77 miles to Galveston and 35 miles to Freeport. Hoping for good breeze off the Gulf. Herman
  3. Mark, Welcome to the Forum. We were going to do the same thing but to Ruidoso but we would have had to self quarantine for 14 days or the duration of our stay, which ever was the shortest. You may find the same going up to the Northeast. We have changed our plans and are going to Sargent Beach RV Park on the Gulf. I am going to send you a PM to have you call me when you can. Again welcome. Herman
  4. Wilmotte, Yes, Welcome to the Forum. What kind of information are you looking for? You basically have a blank canvas before you. Plumbing is where you may have some limitations. You might try going to Search and type in Conversions. There are a number of folks here that have done conversions that look great. They may have some insight that may help. I hope some with Apollo coaches out there. Good luck and again Welcome. Herman
  5. If your vehicle is out of warranty pull the steering wheel and remove the locking pin. It's not illegal but will effect the warranty. Of coarse doesn't make any difference if you have to have the key on for the electronic steering. Herman
  6. Glad you got your tires. How old are the 6 tire they mesured? If they are ove 7 years old I would be looking at replacing them soon. If it were me I would have mounted the two new tires on the front and moved the 2 front ones to the tag. Herman
  7. I found one Handbook. It is called Chapter Officer's Handbook. If that is what you are looking for here is what you do. 1) Go to FMCA.com and log in. 2) Scroll down to support at the bottom of the page and click on "Members Forms". There you should find almost any form and/or document you might want. Herman
  8. Les, Welcome to the Forum. I know the Handbook is available on line but I can't remember where. Call FMCA on Monday and ask for Member Services someone there will direct you where to get it. 513-474-3622 Again Welcome Herman
  9. Roger the Tire Man has a Blog on FMCA.com Herman
  10. Jay, Have you gone on to Discount Tire website and checked what else they may have in the range you need? I use Discount quite a bit and I always get to look at all they have in the size I am looking for. If you got a price on any of the three BFG, Mic. and Kookie try one of their dealers in your area and compare prices. Herman
  11. Ryan, on my High Pressure pump repair The parts were $3,77.83 plus labor, plus tax and all came to $5,029.05. This was July 1, 2017. Has run fine since. The part # for my pump was 4076443RX I am assuming the RX stand of Re manufactured $3,529.89. They had to have it shipped from Kansas City to Joplin. They ordered in on Friday morning got it in by 3 that afternoon and put it on that night. Herman
  12. Carl, here is one for you. I know how your jeep is set up. Maybe you can help Brothers 2016 Herman
  13. Watersedge, Welcome to the Forum. If you are a member of FMCA you may go to FMCA.com and go to benefits and check on the Tire Program. You can get prices with the FMCA discounts. Then go to your local tire dealer and compare prices. Some times FMCA's prices are better and sometime not. But it is good to shop. Also you can check with your local shop and decide which tire and load range is recommended for your 5th Wheel then shop. Herman
  14. dagum10, Welcome to the Forum. I have sent a message to FMCA Marketing Dept. and there should be an answer here soon. Herman
  15. My procedure now is after hooking up to tow bar is, put truck in reverse to set tow bar, set parking brake put in neutral and press brake pedal turn past 4x4 hold 10 seconds and slowly release. When yellow light come on transfer case is in neutral. I then release the parking brake, put transmission into neutral and rave the engine. The RPM go up but vehicle doesn't move, then I know I am in neutral. Shut off the engine place in park and take out the key Close and lock the door. By putting in neutral and raving I remember to release the parking brake. Before doing this I became an expert at changing the rear brakes. (EXPERT is a drip under pressure) Herman
  16. Lou, Welcome to the Forum. You most likely have an Inverter/Charger rather then a Converter. In my opinion either your inverter is turned off or or it's need the reset button reset. Most of the time they are located in one of your bays. Sometimes in clear sight and other times mounted up high. Let us know what you find. Again Welcome. Herman
  17. Roland, I have recommended Colaws so many times it seemed like I was on commission so I would tell of another good place. I have made good buys from both. Herman
  18. Carl, try visonerv.com they may have one from a salvaged RV, ask for Tray. Herman

  21. Ray, hope you and Hana have a wonderful trip to visit family and friends. I haven't had the chance before to say this, but I am praying that each and everyone here on the Forum and there family & friends have been spared form Covid-19. To all stay healthy !!! 🙏 to all. Herman
  22. When you are in the tank fill position you have very little water pressure in the coach. When connected to shore or city water and your tank fills up your pumps check valve has been damaged, most likely from too high of pressure. You can replace the pumps check valve for a few bucks, but it will be damaged again with high pressure. The best way to prevent this is to install an inline check between the tank and the pump. You can get a check valve at one of the big box stores for less than ten bucks. The only problem you will have then would be if you leave the pump ON when hooked to city water. In a couple of days you will get air bubble in the line because your tank is empty and the pump is sucking air along with the city water. Don't ask how I know this. Herman
  23. One easy thing that you can do is install a check valve between the water tank and the pump. That will solve your problem, till then fill your tank and shut the city water off and use your pump til you can install the check valve. Keep you feet dry. Herman
  24. On my truck it's Key on step on the accelerator three time and turn off the key. That should do is, at least on a GM product. Herman
