  1. John, I don't think they would give a double discount. Take the quote you received from Michelin and go to a dealer and see what they might do. I have heard some dealer will make a better deal then the Program. They are able to make a better profit margin then what they get from Michelin. Worth a try on both. Herman
  2. Carl, payback is heck isn't it. From Bill, Wayne, Ray and I. Herman
  3. Him, Welcome To The Forum. Give an email to Larry Pennington at FMCA. Larry can answer your question. Please come back with what you find out, others would like to know. lpennington@fmca.com Herman
  4. Bill, stepping up in a fuse is ok for a quick fix but I would be more concerned with what was causing the required size fuse to blow. Increasing fuse amp size can cause some hot things to happen. IMHO Herman
  5. If it is a 2020 Tahoe it has both a locking steering wheel and electronic steering. Key needs to be in the accessory position and with a charge line to keep from running down the battery. May already be doing this but if not, all kinds of bad things can and will happen. Herman
  6. It's still there but closed to traffic now. There is a nice new bridge now. Haven't been on it yet. Herman
  7. It is a GPS. I have almost 2 acres I mow. I have a riding mower. It has a GPS, CB radio and Raytheon radar. I look real sharp but it gets terrible gas mileage. Herman 😎
  8. Just in case I forget where I'm at.🤔 Herman
  9. I use the GPS mostly when, in the truck, to find my way our of a neighborhood we have never been in before. (aka Garage Sales for Bobbie). Off topic a bit. Jeff Foxworthy had a great routine about his wife and Maps. It went something like this. Giving my wife a map is like giving a monkey a math problem. While she is looking at the map I will ask where is the next turn, and she will say "take the Blue road left up about 1 inch and turn right on the Red road." Herman
  10. Dale, Welcome to the Forum. Nice to hear you are pleased with your new backup camera. Is it color? Don't be stranger. Herman
  11. sr, Need a bit more information. Is your A/C not working? Or are you just looking for an upgrade A/C unit? Are you looking to change out the unit yourself or have it replaced by some one? If the later please let us know where you are located. If it is not working it could be as Ross suggested, the start run Capacitor. They will explode. That is how most go out, with a bang but you can't hear it. Help us out with some more information and then we can try and help you find a solution. Herman
  12. Nice stories but let's get back to the topic, Dental Insurance. Thanks Herman
  13. Which coach do you have? Without the model it's hard to tell if it's gas or diesel. Do the mentioned items work only when the switch it on? If so you may have the accessory solenoid defective. You can check it to see if, with the ignition on, do you have power to both sides of the solenoid? If not you may need to replace the solenoid. When purchasing the solenoid be sure to get a continuous 12 volt solenoid. Somewhere in my very old gray matter a #55 pops up. Herman
  14. Sorry in your first commit I thought you said "We replaced the fan motor and it still smells like it is burning up". The only thing I would suggest is going back and check for chard wires. Sorry I couldn't be of more help . Herman
  15. Brothers2016, Welcome to the Forum. It sounds to me as if the Battery switch is tripped (aka Salesman Switch). Most of the time it is close to the entry door. Again Welcome, Herman
  16. I am not good with Fiber Glass work, so if it were mine I would be talking with an RV body shop. They have the experience to make such repairs Herman
  17. Was the fan motor burnt? if so it may be residue for the burnt motor. Any smoke? Herman
  18. Check the compartment on drivers side in front of the front wheel. There should be two silver solenoids. With the key on you should have power on both sides of each solenoid. If not there is your bad solenoid. Herman
  19. Check for a bad instrument solenoid. Had one on our's go out. It's not the shops fault. Everything can be working fine, the shut it down and next time guage's won't work Herman
  20. Jim, might I suggest that you call Allison at HWH and ask for a tech. The tech can direct you to a solution. 563-724-3396 Herman
  21. Setting the brake when unhooking has never been an issue with me. However disinguaging after hooking up is another story. Been there done that.🙄 Herman
  22. wybuck12 The M&G system is a great unit. And from what I am hearing you have a good bit of mechanical knowledge. That being said may I make one suggestion. Call Monty at M&G (903-675-2812) set up an appointment and let them install your first unit. Monty will be more than willing to have you watch and learn. They will also plumb your airline. After you have observed it once you can do it yourself. I had one installed and have moved it to my forth unit. ( by the way tell Monty you would like a re manufactured unit same warranty and will save you money. Tell Monty I sent you, it wont save you any money but he may give you a bottle of water. Herman
  23. May sound dumb on my part but have you checked under the bed? Some Design Engineers are sadist. Herman
  24. With a gas absorption unit it is plugged into two different 110 volt power sources. One is from the inverter to power the refrigerator. The second one is from shore or generator power for the ice maker (so it will not operate when in motion.) If the residential refrigerator it should be plugged into the 110 volt inverter plug. that will provide power all the time whether moving or connected to shore power or on generator. With all that being said, that is how mine works (residential for over 5 years). In our 2002 Monaco Dynasty, when the engine is running it charges both the chassis and the house batteries. Herman
  25. morganski2002, Welcome to the Forum. I found my replacement at Lowe's. Took out the old one and took it with me. Give them a try. Herman
