  1. I think they are all pretty standard with a 14" opening. Besides the electrical hook-ups the seal that comes with them is important. You don't want to compress them all the way. Check with someone that knows more than I do.
  2. Know anyone nearby with a fork lift? Even a bucket loader.
  3. p.s., the journey is the destination, enjoy the journey. Don't forget that being retired means you don't have to get everything done in one day. Being retired is difficult. You never know when you are finished.
  4. Consider all of the people posting that they have experienced good customer service with BO. I'll bet if you take a poll there would be more favorable results FOR BO than negative. Consider all the alternatives given to you and just don't purchase Blue Ox Products. You'll be happy and those of us getting good CS will be happy.
  5. Right across the street from the Alamo is "The River Walk." Take the boat ride. Also, the Alamo is one of the "Missions." Take a half day or more to visit the missions on the mission trail.
  6. Alv is posting on other forums the same information. Seems like just a slam at BO,
  7. Had my previous BO for 10 years without a problem. New one , well I just wanted a new one, had been in service since 2017 and about 7000 miles with no problem. My coiled cable is BO and has been in service 11 years and is still working and coiling very well. I have not had any problems with customer service when I contacted them with information requests, and replacement plugs for the snap in bar.
  8. Well let me know when you'll be there and I'll put the burgers, sausage or hot dogs on. We'll be there starting on the 15th of Aug. and leave on the 5th of Sept.
  9. Carl, no one around the permanent address to forward it to you? BTW, if you take that route keep in touch. We leave Thur. for Rising Sun, IN., (3 weeks) then to Escapee park, Racoon Valley, TN, (two weeks) then Redstone Arsenal, AL for about 1 week. Don't know where after that. COME ON DOWN!
  10. Good thing you are not in New Hampshire Kay, 53 feet total there.
  11. Wow Kay, many states have a total length limit of 60 feet and some even less, then they state 40 foot length for a motorhome. My MH is 43 feet, and with the car puts me at 58.6 feet, then there is the tow bar. A 45 foot MH would be over the 60' mark towing a typical vehicle. Then there is the total length 60 feet and MH can only be 40 feet, Screwy laws,
  12. We have almost a sister, 2015 Winnebago Tour 42Qd. We have had it since 2017 after Hurricane Harvey ate our other one. We are thoroughly enjoying it. Yes, like any RV we have had some minor problems but nothing serious.
  13. Richard, I went on someone's recommendation and really wasn't worried about $7.50. No other reason. Also they have been extremely helpful in any communications I have had with them. When concerned about the sticker then sent along with the transponder they said to not use the sticker and just transfer the transponder from MH to car. When I questioned them that my profile showed 2 axles and I have 3 they said not to worry about it as the transponder will make the corrections. Very easy customer service to work with.,
  14. I purchased the NC EZPass transponder. Cost was $7.50 then you populate the account with a CC. The NC EZ pass is good for 18 states, North Carolina; Delaware; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Indiana; Kentucky; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Virginia; and West Virginia. If you are traveling in other states you would need different transponders. p.s., I live in Texas and getting the NC EAPass was easy by phone.
  15. I'll start searching these suggestions this evening, thanks. Keep 'em coming. I tried a few already and no availability, even in the middle of September.
  16. Most definitely. I unknowingly drove 11 miles with one rear dual flat. Doesn't matter the miles but the one that was not flat had a zipper blowout shortly thereafter. With that blowout and only driving 1/4 mile I replaced both.
  17. Anchor Down not available for 5-12 Sept. I'll check Pine Mountain. Thanks. Anyone else?
  18. With all the camp grounds in that area I'm surprised that someone locally could not help you with this. I wish we were down in the area as I would do it for free. Just be a good neighbor. Good luck.
  19. Hey y'all, We are heading to the Pigeon Forge area after the Labor Day holiday, probably around the 5th. Anyone have any recommendations on a place to park for a week or so?
  20. I have run into many camp grounds that do not have screw-in connections. I find a rock or something heavy to put on the end of the hose. We are in a CG right now that does not have screw-in connectiona.
  21. For the LCI Level Up Motorhome Leveling (2013-Present) Owner's Manual, it states: Level Zero Point Calibration Before auto leveling features are available, the Level Zero point must be set. This is the point to which the system will return when an auto leveling cycle is initiated. To set the zero point (controller module must be fully secured in production-intent location), first run a manual leveling sequence to get the vehicle to the desired level point. Then activate the Level Zero point configuration mode. This mode is enabled by performing the following sequence: 1. Turn panel off. 2. Press the Front switch 10 times (On Winnebago units, press FRONT 5 times). 3. Press the Rear switch 10 times (On Winnebago units, press REAR 5 times). 4. At this point, a tone will sound and the display will read ZERO POINT CALIBRATION. 5. Press ENTER to set the zero point. 6. Screen will then display Zero Point Stability Check and PLEASE WAIT. 7. Tone will sound and the screen will display ZERO POINT SUCCESSFUL. 8. Control will then turn off.
  22. I'm with Kay on this. Experiment with different cut pieces. Consider the natural position of the foot on any accelerator pedal, remembering that the pedal is flat. Drill a small hole through the block of wood for a tie-wrap so it does not feel uncomfortable on top of the block. May even consider an aluminum designed piece for a riser. I just had to say this, buy some riser shoes.
  23. Yep, same as Herman and Ray. Been working like that for a long, long time,
  24. Hmmm! I have the card but not the app. Think I'll go get it. I just write down the info off the pump screen on the "original palm pilot" then tell her when I get back in.
  25. Joe, are you trying to lead a crappy life? I leave the grey open so DW can wash clothes (frequently) and the dishwasher. Sure hope that never happens to me.
