  1. Looks like the boat motor is higher than 13'6" or am I just seeing a different angle.
  2. TA/Petro have between $0.30 to $0.40 a gallon on average. PFJ only has about a $0.05 cent discount so the PFJ card is the better deal. Love's is about the same as TA/Petro - not much difference that I can see based on today's rates.
  3. Used the TSD (EFS Card) for the first time at a Love's station. Pump showed $97 and when I received my bill it was $80. Saved $16 and TSD took out 10% of savings for $1.60 in fees. I'll keep using it. Loves gives the best discounts. Anyone that is signed up with them will stop receiving the daily email on prices. It is now on their web site.
  4. I don't plan on using the insurance policy on any of my belongings, but I have insurance. I have used auto insurance in the past. Sure glad I had it. Used it for the house also. Yep, paid in a bunch to Progessive for my 2008 MH. In 2017, hurricane Harvey claimed it, and Progressive paid me what paid me what I paid for it Glad i had the insurance. The people I have met in person or on this forum is also worth the little extra 7 cents a day.
  5. For a little over $0.205 (20 and 1/2 cents), I'm not sure I would go broke for all of what FMCA has to offer. Let's see. Present rate $50 or 13 cents a day. so for about 7 cents more a day people are going to give it up. Okay, but I really don't understand the reason why someone would give it all up for 7 cents a day..
  6. Herman, Yes, that was my point. They do not list every piece of wood work. The trim is not that much on the fireplace. I would rather have a professional or someone that knows a lot about wood work pull the trim off. I don't believe they used any glue, just a pneumatic brad gun. The heads are extremely small so thinking brads. Problem is that once the trim is off, the brads will still be stuck to the underlying wood/structure. Might be easy to re-align and press it back on - again - not for me to do. The fireplace, according to Mfg, glass can be removed just removing the screws on the front. Don't know about entire fireplace. Bill, They have all of their installation/instructions/wiring diagrams on-line and easy to get to. If on a Windows machine the drawings are even in 3D,
  7. Bill, Manuals and bags of paper works do not describe Winnebago's many installations on various RV's. Best I can ascertain from calling is that the molding does have to be removed. Was wondering if anyone had done that and how hard was it to take off and put on the molding.

    Bio Diesel?

According to Federal regulations, BIO Diesel of 5% or less does not have to be labeled. Just assume it has 5% on any pump not labeled.
  9. I'm interested in this but not because the fireplace is out, the glass is filthy and it is on the inside. I'd like to clean the glass.
  10. I hope you kept two magnets from coming together and your fingers out of the way.
  11. Just one question. Where do you get the paper wrappers to smoke all that stuff?
  12. Tomorrow is pork chops cooked by friends here at Little Farm on the River, Rising Sun, IN. Other sides, green beans, kohlrabi and onions sauteed in a heavy cream sauce, and who knows what else may come up. Yesterday I fixed clam chowder for us and friends. Ummm! Goooooood!
  13. Call them direct. Roger and Clair are great to work with. Phone: 336-753-0905
  14. I have used them a few times. It really depends on how the repair place writes up the description. I don't know how that exactly works but a service manager re-submitted a request for authorization and the way he worded it, he said, they approved it.
  15. I have used a chlorine bleach for years. I follow the Mfg's guidelines on amount for my coach. Drain fresh water tank, remove filter, put bleach in hose, hook up to water facet and fill tank. Run faucets to get the bleach smell, then let the system sit for 4 hours or more. Drain, fill with fresh water, run faucets, drain, fill again if necessary. We don't have a chlorine bleach taste. DD, good info on using HP if a smell persists.
  16. They may be using a JavaScript in their web site. Firefox and others don't like JavaScript. Safari will open up the web site fine. Norton Internet Security and Safe Web do not report any problems with it. I also will not turn off security just for the sake of viewing a web site. Also will not disable ad blocker, I just don't view the web site that requires ad blocker turned off.
  17. Yes, I would have done that also as it seems good. I own a 2013 Lincoln MKX and prior to that a 2007 Saturn Vue. I have an Air Force One braking system. It is a piston attached to the brake pedal actuated through a control by the air brakes on the coach being applied. For both of those vehicles i have mentioned I have had batteries that would deplete to an unacceptable voltage for starting the vehicle. Under each circumstance we were in hilly country and I always have the engine brake/exhaust brake on. When the coach is braking by foot pedal or exhaust brake the brakes on the TOAD are applied and in hill country this can be excessive. I started avoiding the battery issue by stopping every 2 to 2-1/2 hours, starting the car and letting it run for 5 minutes. I did not have that problem. As the battery ages by years it seems that it will deplete a lot faster. I know travel with a "Jump Start" that is about the size of 3 packs of cigarettes laid side by side and puts out 800 amp with the lithium batteries. I've not had to use it yet, but I'm in relatively flat country. The manual I have says to run the engine every 4 hours - but that is to long for me. Besides it gives me time to stretch the legs and yawn a little.
  18. My WInnebago is programmed that way. Not with just the engine running but engine running and/or emergency brake off or in gear and the jacks will retract. It's a safety issue.
  19. That might fill me up. And don't forget, I'm in shape. Round is a shape!
  20. DD, I noticed on the battery picture that charging is 14.4 volts. I'm ignorant so is that what our converters put out?
  21. Also watch out for dielectric absorption. Dormant capacitors can recharge themselves. Maybe not to a degree of intense electrical short but will definitely surprise you. Watch out when you take the new capacitors out of the package, although dielectric absorption is more strongly related to a capacitor that has been charged for a long time.
  22. Joe, it was this one Jim linked. It was so easy. I first called them because I want an expedited reply and just general questions. I then filled out the application and submitted it. I called them back to tell them it was submitted. Later in the day they called me for some additional information not on the application including SSN. SSN is needed in case of litigation later on. Or so stated. Jim, what oil company was the discount at?
  23. We have taken it from Amarillo area. A few bumps here or there but okay. It is 10 degrees cooler than I-10 or I-20. As you get to Kingman, AZ and points west until the Coast it will be hot, I mean it will be hot, this time of year.
