  1. If he keeps blocking up one dual he will eventually have a failure on that tire so MAYPOPS are going to become POPPERS.
  2. Ah so! I was thinking ( and that's bad) that it was the scissor jacks you were talking about. Now I understand, and a good lesson on placement for different things.
  3. After you note the inner tire not the electrical box that looks like a standard box one would nail against a 2 x 4 in the house. I wonder if it floats.
  4. How nice it would be to be able to pick up the droppings and place them on their steps. Hmmm!
  5. He is not leveling, he is stabilizing so people can't see when the RV is rocking and rolling. Now with that said think about the physics. Which is more stable, a wide stance or a narrow stance. Use you legs. Stand with you feet together and have someone push your shoulder. Now stand with your feet apart and have them push your shoulder again. It is not the point of contact but the spread of the scissors that are important. If he did not have the blocks there the stabilizers would be almost straight down. That configuration would NOT give as much stabilization as as he presently has it with the wide spread of the scissor jacks.. Also the side to side is the rock and roll so the scissor jacks are pointed in the correct position for best stabilization. As the RV starts to rock to the side the extensions of the jacks to the side minimizes the back-n-forth. ThiMk about it. p.s., send money for this explanation. My brain is working hard at this.
  6. Ernie, did that, done that in VN and you didn't miss a thing. I'm one of the lucky ones. I kept my head and A** down and came out without the PH. Happy for that. Thank you for your service.
  7. Armitage Park Campground (County park FHU) is on Coburg Rd. It is a nice park. It is also about 1 half mile from Freighliner, Cummins, Monaco RV, and many other diesel services and automotive services. If Coburg is doable start calling to see if anyone can help and set a schedule. Armitage Park Campground is nice and also inexpensive. If you do decide to make the trip the 160 +/- miles Armitage requires a 2 day minimum reservation request on-line. If you search on your location, increase the viewing area and search in the map search box for diesel repair there are a lot of them in Grants Pass or Medford.
  8. Nah! But I put an old picture of you on the seat and the Bunny Ears look down on it, except when I'm sitting on it.

That's almost exactly what I said - copy cat!!
  10. I've been told that the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX are very similar in engine and electronics. This works on my 2013 and may work on the 2016. On the display panel there is a "gear" icon. Pressing that will give different options and on mine one is Display. I can push the option there to turn the display off. As for Radio and AC I turn them off before turning the display off. I then set my transmission in neutral according to my manual. The last thing I do is to put the "Bunny Ears" on the center of the steering wheel. The Bunny Ears is a white rag tied to the top center of the steering wheel. Looking in my rear view camera inside the MH I can see my Bunny Ears easily to let me know what the steering wheel is doing. Hey, works for me.
  11. Gochar, I have renewed mine for the past 4 years being out of state. However, when I come back into the state I get an inspection and that may be the difference as each year we return to the S&B for a few months, just never when it's time to renew.

The Kiley mold on the ladder can sit in with the brackets they sell and allows one to use the ladder without missing a step. For the front I use suction cups in the lower right hand windshield (inside) and works well.
  13. Oops! One wrong is enough. Besides, I was wron...er mistaken once and you caught it.
  14. It was and back in 2014.
  15. Carl, that is what the roof cost for my MH after hail larger than golf balls put holes in it.
  16. Comparisons: One[/ur] Two Three Four The above is for the confusion factorl I personally went with the Dominator after 9 years of using the Rhino Flex. Just a personal choicel
  17. Yep! My insurance paid out $19K for a new fiberglass roof. Dig deep into the hip pocket.
  18. According to that antenna manual once the head is pushed down to the short shaft it is not removable.
  19. Looks usable and that is what it needs to be - usable.
  20. If it were me, and I have a TV in the bedroom, I'd drop it into the bedroom and put a splitter on the line. One for the bedroom and the existing line from the present TV antenna to the living room. I'm making some assumptions here. Do you have a present TV antenna? Not sure about the loop but I'd call them and ask why. They have been responsive for me.
  21. My wife has no problem telling me where to go!
  22. On my previous MH I had a GS ESP. Over 9 years of activity it paid for itself. To understand this, DW named the MH "Citrus," just to be PC. I purchased a 2015 used MH so the Mfg warranty is iffy at best. I transferred/purchased the ESP to this MH and I hope never have to use it. The one I have covers engine, transmission, seals and gaskets. I have peace of mind. One of the biggest problems with saving for the rainy day repairs is to have the discipline to not dip into the funds for other "want now" items,
  23. Key word is "had," Yes I had the DVR. I never had a problem taking it from the house to the RV and back and forth. Worked well using the Wingard Carryout Antenna.
