  1. That would be helpful if my screen looked like that when using the Preferred browser "Chrome" I have a search box but it is grayed out and doesn't work. Bill
  2. Hopfulley I will be back from "The West" for the meet and greet at the Shawne Oklahoma 6 State in September. Bill
  3. Yes there are several browsers. Chrome is from Google and Internet explorer is from Microsoft. I don't know much about Firefox. Well Todd, what is the status? Nothing has changed The forum still doesn't display like your link depicts. The headers are all missing or different when using Chrome as you recommended. Bill
  4. If you don't have WIFI in the place you are staying, then yes using a libraries WIFI would work. At least you won't have to go far to find a book to read while you wait. Bill
  5. Like I said my view is not the same as the one in your example when using Chrome. Internet explorer does look like your sample in the link. The easiest way to understand this issue would be to go to the web site from a non system computer using Chrome. This has just changed in the last couple of days. Bill
  6. I did the upgrade and had no problems. Your experience may vary. Bill
  7. I understand that you are trying to "upgrade" the forums. I just think it would be smart to post an explanation of what you are trying to do and how the new features can be used and how they are supposed to make things better. Some of the things that were rolled out "with no explanation" were removed when some questioned them. Some actually sounded interesting once explained but were already removed/modified. Now when using Chrome the site looks nothing like it does when using Internet explorer. I started to use Chrome because the "spell check" in internet explorer isn't working on this site. the tab for new content is now just the "page" icon and takes you to all the forums not a list of new content. Well it would be easier if someone viewed the site using Chrome and maybe all the main browsers to see if it is presenting the same. Waiting to see what the next change will be. 8. I would sign up as soon as possible to get a spot with power. Bill
  9. A better way than tape is to use a piece of the proper size shrink tubing with adhesive inside it makes a better waterproof seal. Bill
  10. Yep changing the unit is one way to eliminate the fan noise. Bill
  11. Rich, Go look at the one I posted a link to. You can magnify the bearing housing area. I think it is worth trying. Maybe next week after I get home. Worst case I have a new motor. I still remember the old units had oil pipes that fed the bearings. Bill
  12. I have not tried it but I think if you drill a small hole 0.098 or so in the bearing housing you should be able to inject the oil into the housing. Supposedly there is a foam or felt filler inside to hold the oil. On my motor there is a felt washer around the shaft on the outside of the bearing housing. The funny part is I haven't changed the motor yet because it is running great since I oiled the bearings this spring. I may try drilling the housing to load more better oil into them and just take the new motor with me just in case. Bill
  13. Tom, so you are no longer hibernating in the valley. We are in Fredericksburg this week. I just haven't seen that much input or participation from vendors like Fleetwood even in bigger venues like the last FMCA 6 State in Conroe. I didn't go to Perry this time so I can't say who was there. My observation/opinion is that the brand specific clubs may not be the advantage they use to be. Bill
  14. I had the same problem. For a temporary fix you can spray the shaft with a good penetrating oil like Rem oil. there are no roller bearings as it is just a sleeve bearing. I ordered this motor from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Fasco-D1092-5-0-Inch-Replacement-Enclosure/dp/B007VJUB9S?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00 Bill
  15. I still think you need to look at where they were doing work. Bill
  16. One thing you will find is some clubs are more social clubs where the members like to get together to play games and talk/socialize. There are other clubs that schedule more activities. Things like visiting local attractions, plays, museums and other points of interest. Some you might not visit on your own. We are in Fredericksburg Texas If you ever get a chance this is a great destination. One must see is the National Museum of the Pacific War and the home/ museum of Admiral Nimitz. http://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/ One other interesting place is the LBJ ranch and boyhood home. https://www.nps.gov/lyjo/ Bill
  17. We are assuming they worked before. Check the position of the switch. If my switch is in the wrong position the steps won't retract. I would look and see if they happened to turn off a circuit breaker when they were working on the leveling sensor. Have you tried the leveling system since you got it back? Bill
  18. There are a lot of clubs that are brand specific. I am at a Bounder rally now. There are also some good clubs that are open to anyone with a coach. Last month we were with the Red River Rovers. I don't know if there is that much benefit to belonging to a brand specific club. The people are more important. Bill
  19. Well it would be nice if the OP would report back. After all they were picking up the coach on April 18. Either they made it home or are setting in fear in some Walmart parking lot. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. The best advice I can offer is when coming South on 95 I would take I-287 The Cross Westchester Expressway. Take this to cross the Hudson on the Tappan Zee. Yes this is a little longer but in the big picture is easier and cheaper. I would take 287 all the way to the Garden state Parkway. Last summer going north on I-95 the toll on the George Washington was $76.00. I would look at getting an EZ Pass if you don't have one. Bill
  21. I want to add driving 1 with the coach can be tough because of the traffic. Saw people stopping on blind curves to look at the view (no spot to pull off) and to take pictures. I know I wouldn't have been able to stop the motor home in time. The 101 has some interesting places. Bill
  22. I would be calling now to reserve a spot. Bill
  23. Welcome to the forum. You have gotten some good responses. I think you just need to give it a good cleaning and lube. You said they move if you help them. You have to get under and behind to get to some of the pivot points. Let us know if that fixes the problem. Bill
  24. You should see what it says in the owner's manual and on the FMCA towing guide. Other than that I have no idea what you are talking about. Try again. Bill
  25. There are a number of places that will build whatever you want. Here are a couple. http://www.texascustomcoach.com/ http://www.newellcoach.com/ http://www.marathoncoach.com/ Bill
