Leslie, Welcome to the forum. What does the owner's manual say under towing? Bill

A dollar saved is a dollar earned. Bill

I understand but the OP said he doesn't know how it should drive. By driving several different coaches he can get a better idea on how it should drive. Bill

jbrunson, I did a post on replacing my sway bar bushings. Sometimes they can look ok but not be stiff enough to do their job. I used polyurethane bushings. I don't have good enough wifi to search for it tonight. I think it might be beneficial to go test drive a couple of coaches to gain more experience. Bill

I don't see any reason you can't. For your own peace of mind I would measure the gap between the rear tires( at the bottom) I bet you have plenty of room. I don't think the more rotational mass will be a problem. I think the larger rolling diameter will help mileage. Bill

Is A Toad Brake System Required
wildebill308 replied to PRIESTLAKE's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I am with Tom, I don't tow without a supplemental brake(brake Buddy). I would rather stop a foot short of hitting something rather than a foot beyond hitting something. You might also consider if you have a accident the added legal issues especially in today's lets sue everybody society . Bill -
I have some warm sweaters I can loan Wayne till he can get back to warmer climates. Carl, the frog was in the security device as it had collected some water. Bill

I think it was Herman who was worried the portable surge guards were not waterproof. Well I have been testing my surge guard for the last couple of days and it has been thoroughly exposed to the elements. When I was unhooking in Saxon, WI yesterday in a heavy rain a little green frog jumped out of the locking device. I think they are plenty waterproof. Bill

Hope all goes well with your procedure. Bill

Congratulations Bill you are the highest (should I use that term for someone in CO?) and hottest person on the forum. Bill

Don't you have a auxiliary air compressor for the air leaving system? Bill

If you look at a map of lake Superior on the western end I am right on the lower point. closest town is Ashland, Wisconsin. Take it easy at 7000 ft, don't try running up the mountin. Bill

Just a thought all air systems lose air pressure over time. The question is "what is the acceptable rate". You might need to call the manufacturer and see what that is. Most (unless you have air leveling) coaches tell you to dump air when parked. You may be wasting your time chasing leaks if they are within limits. Bill

As you don't have your coach information in your sig it makes it impossible to give good answers. Yes it wouldn't hurt to call and have the vin number handy. Bill

One thing to add to what Britt was saying. You can still use your 50 amp surge guard if you are plugged into 30 amp service. I am in a campground right now and have a 30 to 50 amp adapter plugged into the pedestal and my surge gard plugged into that and the shore power line plugged into that. I will be fine on 30 amp today because I don't need the ac as it is only 61. Bill

Extended Warranty From Wholesalewarranty.net
wildebill308 replied to kalynzoo's topic in Extended Service Policies
Welcome to the forum Balderdash. I am wondering, doesn't the new coach come with a warranty? I would put the $5,484 in a savings account instead of buying a warranty for something that should be covered by the manufacturer. I would get Coach Net to help with any problems along the road. Driving in Boston, Worcester or Springfield Mass
wildebill308 replied to tireman9's topic in FMCA West Springfield 2016
I have been in Boston several times. You do not want to drive your motorhome in to Boston. There are areas (the ones you want to see) that don't allow trucks except for small box trucks. You will have a hard enough time finding parking for a car. The closest I have camped to boston is RI so I can't help with a spot to stay. Bill -
RV Stops On Ohio Turnpike If Traveling Through
wildebill308 replied to tireman9's topic in FMCA West Springfield 2016
I was through there last week and was surprised at the hook ups. The first one I stopped at had back in spots and the other had pull through. I would see what the website says and look on google earth to see. I did not use them but made a note for the next time. There are places to stop past the area with the power pedestals if you are just taking a brake. Bill -
nz8y00, Welcome to the forum. Those aren't the only air lines. Check the dump valve and the brake valve. You can use a length of hose like a stethoscope to help find leaks. Bill

No unfortunately I couldn't hear the leak. I was thinking it might be the dryer cartridge plugged up or something in that area. So I called Coach Net and had them send out a mecanic. Well He by passed the dryer and that wasn't it. He finally found the leak where the hose is hidden in a bunch of wiring bundles on the right side of the engine. Well he didn't have a hose so he tried to patch the hose. I was scheduled to stay in Fort Wayne that night and figured if I could get to the park I could find a new hose. Well he got it to hold pressure and we started to head out. I was going to drive around the block to get back on the main road and didn't make it. Lost pressure and the brakes clamped down. Called Coach Net again and told them to send the mecanic back as his repair didn't hold. While we were waiting I decided to see what I could do. I ended up re doing the patch and another spot that was leaking and had it holding pressure when the mechanic returned. He had a new hose this time so I told him to replace it (a new hose trumps a twise repaired hose). It was about 1:30AM and I didn't feel like driving to Fort Wayne so we went back to a Pilot about 6 miles west. Bill

This must be the season for air leaks. I just had to replace the same main air hose but I was alongside the road on 30 just east of Plymouth Indiana. Bill

Makes me wonder if I am supposed to have a light. I am not tearing into it til I get home. Bill

SIMI Supplemental Braking System
wildebill308 replied to jvmcmillan2003's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I bought one but haven't installed it. I just run the car at lunch and haven't had a problem. Personally I didn't think the Toad Charge was very robust. Bill -
Gee Rodger, How is that different than you jumping in and talking about cooking or some other topic that has nothing to do with the OP's question? I believe Herman has some excellent advice for you. Bill

The goal is to be in Shawnee. Tonight in Saint Ignace, MI just north of the bridge. Bill
