The GFI tripped on his circuit when he plugged in the ice maker. When its not on (ice maker) the GFI works normally. That to me says the Icemaker is OVERLOADING the circuit and tripping the breaker. Now it may just be a weak GFI. That said its not the ice maker because it does not trip the next GFI circuit he plugs it into. If there was moisture in the circuit(example) the GFI should be tripping with any load SO when a GFI trips it may be a unbalance as you describe or a overloaded circuit as I describe.

Rich, Nothing to get caught up in at all.The converter charges the batteries not the inverter. He clearly says converter and batteries. The inverter obviously does not run all the time-- it may be on but that means nothing. He's talking about when plugged into shore power so bringing up the inverter is irrelevant. Suspect he has a gasser A with converter only.
-
But that's why most breakers trip-- because they're overloaded.

Walmart had a great icemaker on sale at xmas for $110.00. You can't beat it. It works fantastic. Makes ice like crazy and different size cubes etc
-
Unless its overcharging and your having to add water at abnormal intervals it means its working correctly. As long as the MH is being used the converter will run constantly for sure as lites are 12V, furnace, fridges etc.

Unless Fleetwood has enhanced their quality in the last few years on entry level products I would be careful. You will see around 7-8MPG. You will never ever see 10-- so don't plan on it. Loaded and towing will absolutely effect mileage. Being a small 28 ft you will have good power though.

Georgetown gassers are OK for what you pay. They're priced right so expect what you pay for these days.

I live 5.5 months in my Motorhome and 7.5 months in my S+B house and I will never full time.I love my house and its non replaceable Large Diesel pusher motorhome's are great for snowbirding but nothing replaces a nice paid for S+B house in a nice city like we live in I for the life of me can not understand how people live in little 34 ft gasser 24/7/365

If its a 2008 unit, the TV's should all be lcd HD or HD compatible.

IF you were bringing in diesel exhaust to the extent that it left soot on all the drapes and blinds it would have asphyxiate you so I don't see that as a viable answer-- plus it would stink the high heaven.
-
I thought the guy started this thread to find a motor for his king dish?
-
Well for sure the AH did not cause this soot problem and I doubt a rear exhaust leak did either. If you had exhaust that was so bad that it sooted all your drapes and blinds you would be gagging from diesel fumes.

Your 120V supply being a 2 prong or a 3 prong has absolutely NOTHING to do with your dish pointing in the correct direction nor any bearing on the operation of the receiver.

OK I guess it is what it is. I needed 3 sealed window units for my 08 bus. One being the large Drivers window.I was the second owner it was year 4 of 5 year window warranty. I emailed TIFFIN.They shipped me free of all charges the windows I requested right to my doorstep. -

OK the reason I asked you said called Monaco and no help either but then you said Monaco had sent out the part? You should have had them send you the dash. That's one thing about Tiffin is you can take it almost anywhere(any repair shop) and they will pay to have the unit repaired.I wonder why Monaco would have made you drive 800 miles to have small warranty repairs done. Anyhow since I had my "BAD" experience with these guys I have over lots of forums run into many many people who agree with my assessment of these guys. -
I have never ever had a problem looking, pounding and feeling my DPMH tires.I never said a monitor system was not a good idea. It is because most people can not identify tire problems the way I can. I actually missed where you were asking about the two pictures and ap difference. I doubt anyone could tell you the exact AP difference in the tires as I don't know what the starting pressure was to begin with and its in gravel. Perhaps put the proper AP in ,take picture, then take these two and it might be easier-- also do it on pavement. When I use my expertise to determine how my tires are I have to know the history of them. So I naturally set the air pressures and take a good look at things on flat ground loaded and go from there.
-
Never seen or heard of such a thing. If there was a exhaust leak you would 100% smell it as you know diesel stinks. The only other soot you get is from the exhaust pipe if the injection nozzle is poor or air/fuel set wrong but this would never ever make your blinds and windows dirty.
-
I would need a picture of the tire as it sits flat on the ground, not gravel, type of vehicle, load structure on rear tires etc but a guess on what I see strictly based on what the poor picture shows us I say its partially flat for sure

HenryPatterson, Was there other Monaco dealer to get warranty work? And why did Monaco refuse you warranty repairs? Sounds very odd to me I believe you about your dilemma, just wondering. -

I have a story to tell and I have also heard similar.I bought my 2008 Allegro Bus from them.Talk about lie. There is a salesman called Cowboy. DO NOT deal with him. He is so full of chit its not funny. He is a deceitful liar. The only reason I went through with the deal was because I was dumb enough to send them 5K based on pictures and his word. I then drove 1320 miles from my winter vacation spot to pick up the unit. The price was well below Market value and for good reason. I am a mechanic, carpenter, RV tech type person. It was supposed to be ready to go when we got there. NOT EVEN close. It was January 5 and he has asked us to delay trip by 2 days so we did. It should have been longer. We get there and the things that needed repair and adjustment and replaced was a mile long. The one single thing that really really picks my butt to this day is his lying and his boss backing him 100%. (LARGE EG) I was at my home in Canada (BC). I asked him on his phone as he stood in the Motorhome if there were any cracked tiles and he said NO.I got there and there were 5 cracked floor tiles. When I started looking through the unit the dryer made a bad racket and had to be pulled and adjusted,The Aqua-hot exhaust pipe was squished flat and had to be replaced, The engine AC was empty of Freon, the computer keyboard was not working(has factory front dash computer). I had to stay over because of all the things that were wrong and or they missed. They paid the hotel bill but only after I raised cane. They lied about the previous owner etc etc etc. Long Long story and I can't give it all here. SO YES be very careful when dealing with this place. They offer the lowest prices anywhere and that's what sucks people in. The head service guy was fantastic and kept apologizing for the mess we found ourselves in. He said he was looking for a new job because he goes through this same deal all the time. He without his boss guy knowing gave me about 500$ in diesel fuel and LPG. If I was just another older senior with no RV knowledge instead of middle aged well versed mechanic/RV tech I would have really been screwed because I would have been sent out the door as is. -
What Is The Best Way To Stay Connected Online?
ticat900 replied to tbutler's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
My friend has the Verizon 50$ 5G pack and its only lasting him 2 weeks. I am lucky as I sit for several months so I get TW cable at $35.00 unlimited and hi speed.nothing(no charge) to hook up and no contracts. and I share it with my neighbour TW have it as low as 14.95 for standard speed On a side note Sunshine Mom is incorrect. The phone may be unlimited text and message and calling but the internet part is 6G not unlimited. When I go to Verizon site it says 30$ for 4g on 2 year contract In fact I cant find anywhere where you even get the phone with the jetpack $30. -
If you have a audio out( red and white) and Video out (yellow ) on the same receiver you can use a adapter to go from these 3 connections to your existing cable "HOWEVER" you will not receive it in High definition. The only way to get HD is run a HD cable to each TV or spend big bucks and buy HDMI wireless system at around 300$ per TV set. Does your current sat dish support more than one receiver?
-
Yes, it will function perfectly fine and as posted I will assume your hooked up to proper shore power while in storage.
