OK I'm still trying to figure out how I ran out of propane. With the horizontal tank I experienced the point of diminishing returns. The gauge reads F, 2/3, 1/3, E. Full is really 80% not 100%, 2/3 is really 50% not 66.3, 1/3 is really 20% not 33.3 and empty.is practically nothing at all. It's a wonder we got 4 days out of it before depleted. Yes we had a call into the delivery truck as soon as it went empty. There is another reason that made it empty so soon when it hit 1/3. The gauge measure liquid level not amount of propane left. So a round horizontal tank would have very few gallons left at 20%. The tank is a 39 gallons and 80% is 31.2 gallons. The gauge is wacked to begin with as full is only 80% so it goes down to 2/3 very soon. It takes much longer to go from 2/3 to 1/3. After 1/3 very little left. Full is 31.2 gallons and 2/3 is 24.2 and 1/3 is only 7 gallons. We have to take into account the tank is round. 1/3 (20%) would be the minimum the tanh should be allow to go.

OK we done this the first time since we own this coach. We ran it out of propane. It hit bottom on Saturday, we call the propane service first thing Monday morning and left message. Tonight the flame went out in the fridge so tank is empty. The refill won't be until Thursday so we have to go all electric until then. We don't use the heat pump unless we have to because it louder than using the propane furnace. Switching the electric on to the fridge and hot water is no problem but we will have to pay extra electric use. We will survive. Until next post, Happy New Year.

We had rain all day on the 27th but snow above 2,500 feet. So would of been bad time to drive through the passes. Part of I-5 passes were closed. We visited Joshua tree Park yesterday in the toad and took pictures with the snow.

In the manual If the remote shows an 'internal' fault or the inverter needs to be reset; press and hold the Power ON/OFF pushbutton (see figure 6-1) for at least fifteen (15) seconds until the Charging/Inverting LED comes on and flashes rapidly to indicate the inverter has reset. Also the inverter light (indicating the inverter is on) should not be turn on when the coach is in storage. The reset power button is on the inverter not the remote Perform the following steps to power-down the inverter: Remove all AC power (utility or generator power) to the inverter. Disconnect the positive battery cable to the inverter. Ensure the inverter and remote control are disconnected from all AC and DC power (the remote display will be blank). After the inverter has been disconnected from all power for 30 seconds, reconnect the positive battery cable and resume operation. Info: There may be a momentary spark when the positive battery cable is connected to the inverter’s terminal; this is normal and indicates that the inverters internal capacitors are being charged

At this point I would flush the power steering pump with fresh dexron and replace the belt. be sure there isn't any loose bolts on the pump.

There is a few things you should look at. The belt and tensioner being good. Also the condition of the P/S fluid if since over 20 years old. Last the pump and relief valve may be going bad. Careful with this kind of system as fluid contamination can do lots of damage.

OK we had the first thing to break. DW wanted to check and make sure that Suzie the kitty didn't craw under the step cover. She pulled out on the laminate plank I attached to the end of cover with 1/2 inch brads that's not long enough and it came off. I have to pick up a few 3/4 trim nails and reattach it. Suzie was somehow in behind / under the jackknife loveseat. She is like Houdini and escape the cat harness DW put on her. Do you noticed that I took the blame that the plank came off, never DW fault? 😁

I will be catching the western rally about January 10th day pass only. It is in Indio, CA every year, well at least the last few years.

It wouldn't hurt to replace the hoses and washer inlet valve. Otherwise keep the water shut off when not in use.

Another year, another misadventure in the horizon. The coach is repaired again and everything is working. We made it to SAM's Family Spas in Desert Hot Springs, CA with only one mishaps on the way. Seems like DW wanted to use a designer windshield cover on the two vehicle instead of the harbor freight furniture moving cover we was using. The designer cover blew off going through a summit leaving it's tether straps still in the doors. To check in to SAM's Family Spas, we had to fill out a credit app before we are allowed to stay. I guess that is meant to keep certain parties out. We are going to stay here until Jan 19, 2020 and then go to Quartzite AZ for a week. We plan to go to Davis Monthan AFB near Tucson, AZ for the rest of February. I'm getting brave enough right now to try using the awning 🤔

I hope to be leaving going through there Sunday or Monday. I can easily get from my place to Seven Feather no problem then refuel there. Then I travel as far as I can into so I don't have to refuel more than twice in CA. I hope to stay at SAM'S in Desert Hot Springs for 30 days. Then we going to Quartzite, AZ for a chapter rally for a week. That will be a good start of my winter trip.

The exhaust brake and automatic downshifting is only there to assist you to slow your vehicle down. You have to use your regular brakes if your RPM and speed gets too high.

I wonder that since this is a newer coach you can try to disconnect the batteries, wait 10 minutes then reconnect to reboot everything?

Catalytic converters theft is very common as well as stealing gas at park and ride. To steal a catalytic converter one person find a truck easy to get under and cut them out with a battery powered saw all with little or no noise.

I think advertising 21 security cameras and 19 were fake should open a way for a lawsuit for all expecting security. I have better luck at my home and barking dog.

Be sure the charger inverter breaker didn't trip. Happen to me when there was too many ladies in the galley. OVERLOAD
