Look where the throttle cable comes into the engine in the injection pump and see if you can see something like this. http://www.dieselbombers.com/89-93-12v-cummins-tech-talk/26283-checking-adjusting-throttle-position-sensor-tps.html

Pull the LED bulb and check for power there also making sure there is a good ground. If no power there check for power at the switch and work your way back to the fuse box from there.

I think a auto resets breaker tripped and resettled by time you started the generator. The slides generally works on 12 volts. Cold weather makes the seals hard with much less give.

cmarq, Dorman remanufacturers instruments clusters for GM products by vin and mileages. Try plugging in your vin at this link. I had to replace a few on larger GMC pickups as instrument cluster is common problem. They do have listing for Workhorse and Freightliner. http://www.dormanproducts.com/Pages/New_To_Aftermarket/NTA_Page.aspx

Black Tank Repair-- It's NOT ABS. HELP!
huffypuff replied to tireman9's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
I can only think of hoses and clamps from Home Depot plumbing department. It would help to have picture of tank neck. Sorry -
Rich, there are so many different gauge that it's best to get the number off the gauges itself. They have single as well as multi-gauges. When I needed a gauge for my coach, that is what Monaco (um) Navistar at the time said to do. This link should narrow it some: http://www.usa.vdo.com/generator/www/us/en/vdo/main/products_solutions/special_oem_solutions/platform_products/instrumentation/instrumentation.html

Lots of manufactures use VDO gauges. You can try their link below: http://www.vdo-gauges.com/instruments/gauge-kits.html

My last coach had a drivers door and I never cared for it. Much easier to walk down the steps and out the door than to climb carefully out putting feet into footholds going backwards.

Also you can add these de-flapping clips and straps if you going to be parked awhile. Holds the edges down from the wind and allow better water drainage. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/awning-de-flapper-max/26873

The description of that filter is a small inline metal filter screen that we had trouble with when I worked with fleet. It soon became a regular part of maintenance once discovered.
-
Wow I don't know where you can possible get a new metal frame. Maybe call the current factory but their parts are limited.

Thanks for the warning about RV.net Allegiance40x. I belong to Good Sams club and roadside assistance but didn't have a nerve to post in their forum. Joe do you have a link to the Holiday Rambler/Monaco Club? The service manual section sure sounds better than my owners manual.

I decided to quit that forum for so many are so judgmental. I'm looking at a site recommended by HR. Nitehawk what you experienced is much of what I'm talking about. Carl the iRV2 Monaco group isn't the area I had trouble with but very little help.

I joined iRV2 after much reluctance in Sept 2014 for the Monaco group. I wanted to have a link for tips for my unit but found very little. I tried posting in the general forum and follow a few threads and found that if you don't agree with a few there that there will be so many personal attacks until the thread is closed. Not such a way so no one will see it anymore but only so no one can post in that thread. It got so bad that I asked a monitor to remove my subscription, profile and all posting. As of today they only removed my subscription. I'm looking for another Monaco site as the HR site don't look like it offer much. Does anyone know one to recommend that is FMCA approved?

Thermostat Reading Outside Temperature After Cleaning Roof A/C Cleaned
huffypuff replied to greenbarn1's topic in Electrical
I believe that resetting the thermostat is worth a try. It was on a recent thread. http://community.fmca.com/topic/7898-roof-ac-shuts-off-when-compressor-starts/?hl=reset#entry50830 -
Location Of Diagnostic Port 02 Journey
huffypuff replied to rlbarkleyii's topic in Type A motorhomes
Mine is on the left of the steering column and is gray. If it came loose from the dash you may have to do some acrobats to find it up under the dash. -
Bob Tiffin did more than I would of done as the damage was caused by not following direction and not a fault of their product. With that said you can bet that their sons would follow the same thought as I do. That can be expected.

These looks like a good idea until you look at the cost and the return invested.

Keeping The Ice Maker Water Valve From Freezing
huffypuff replied to wildebill308's topic in Systems and Appliances
If you are using it in cold climates you can probably wape heat tape around it. Otherwise it needs to be disconnected and drained. -
cmarq, I didn't want to sound mean in my statement just that I dealt with it all. I had callers that wanted to use their own parts, want step be step what I did on the invoice and a 20% discount on top of it all. If you can find a flooring mechanic that can help you off duty that would be great. Somehow 1/2 inch sounds thick to run the slide over it. Like Ernie says try material under the slide before you install it. Better to know before you install and find it won't clear.
