  1. Make sure the insulation is closed up with long wire ties where the dealer installed the sensor of the recall kit. The dealer left mine cracked open and that knocked down performance. I used the wire ties to close back up and now performance is great.
  2. After the system comes on using joystick just go one click to the right for data and two clicks to the right for rear camera. Third click to the right scroll data through several pages. You can work the joystick back and forth these three clicks for what you want to see.
  3. Got to love the heat of the exhaust filter. I would say send the exhaust straight out the side but you will be causing a problem to the vehicle next to you. I supposed a deflector or downward outward spout would help.
  4. I agree with Rich as a defective expansion valve or orifice tube. That is located in the front where the evaporator inlet is. That is where the magic happens from high pressure liquid to low pressure gas. A little crud in the screen there acts as a plug to slow or stop the flow.

    Coolant Leak

Sounds like water pump on a Cummins. Easy to change once you have access to it. Get two five gallon buckets and drain coolant. Remove rock shield guards and grates from underneath. Remove belt with breaker bar on tensioner. Remove three bolts holding water pump to block. Remove water pump with o-ring seal. Reverse procedure to install, now will be a good time to put in fresh antifreeze and replace belt.
  6. Camping World is telling you a fib as they don't carry Michelin at all. They tried to sell me cheap Chinese tires also but I wasn't going to fall for it. I have Michelin in the same size your looking for but got them from a truck tire place. The Michelin cost more than the Goodyear but for me it was worth as I hated the Goodyear.
  7. The receiver dryer should be on suction line after the evaporator and the filter should be pressure line before the expansion valve. You need to replace these as well as the expansion valve as there will be metal in the system after a compressor seize up. Then all of the lines and evaporator needs to be flushed before putting back together. What confuse me is what part of the compressor seized up? Was it the outer bearing or the internal that seized up? The repair is different on what part goes out but since you have a new compressor you need to do whats noted above or risk another compressor failure.
  8. Yes Carl the western part of I-10 and 110 can get quite busy in CA.
  9. I think these windows crank out on a hinge. If so they better not be open while driving.
  10. George, this is what we do every year going south mid December and north mid March. We go south and stop for the night at 7 Feathers in OR I-5 exit 99 and watch the TV weather report in the morning. We then check this link with live cams so we know if it's clear. http://users.cot.net/~n6mrx/ares/Siskiyou%20County%20Cams1.htm If not we would stay another day. There was only one year that we had to stay a extra day in December 2012. On the way back we stop at a KOA in Sacramento and do the same thing on the way back. Never had to spend a extra day on the way back.
  11. I have my coach coolant between the marks and have no problem. Once I filled to top line when warm and that went out the overflow next steep grade it climbed.
  12. My tester detected a leaking ground at a resort that I was booked for two months. So the manager ask me why don't I try to plug in a see what happen. I told him only if he give a direct connection to his insurance adjuster otherwise no way I would risk it. He had it fixed in an hour while I ran the generator.
  13. I would check for a panel that has most of your electronic switches and readouts. HVAC, water pump, slides switches are on mine along with tank levels and switches for 12 or 120 volt hot water. I leave them off until I need them and turn them both on at same time for quick hot water. Then I turn them back off when done.
  14. Carl I guess it depends on manufacture and model if it comes with LED or not. My 06 HR has LED for clearance, side markers and high mounted brake light but not regular tail/signal lights or front turn. Looks like in the future there will be LED head lights if there isn't already.
  15. When I had mark on floor from that section it was p-trap drain leaking that came loose from rubber elbow. After repair still can take awhile for it to stop making a mark. A rag tied to a stick to clean can help speed the process
  16. Why not slip it through the bottom corner of the seal of one of your slides? That is what I do when I rent cable modem from Time Warner.
  17. After you clean the floor then the next step is to clean the bottom of the slide when it is extended.
  18. Neil I heard of the bucket set up but 200 of them. That's not just mice, it's an army.
  19. Victor mouse traps and peanut butter using about a dozen of them up inside and down in basement. They can't resist them, but check often because they stink when dead.
  20. A 1996 Kenworth T300 w/ CAT 3126 with possible 22 foot box or larger. You are trying to tow a 50 foot trailer loaded with horses with unknown weight to us with a 260 - 300 hp engine. This forum is for motorhomes and we struggle enough with 40 foot pushing our own weight. I don't think we can help you as I believe that you need a over the road tractor designed for hauling more weight not a box truck or motorhome.
  21. Mike, that is the same storm that hit me in NW Washington. Glad that it's over but not yet for me. All day today I was limbing trees and sure feel it. .
  22. Whats worse is a border crossing check point. Watch them awnings too.
  23. You may have a built in protection from shore power and if it senses that the power voltage drops too low when the compressor kicks on it will shut power to it. 3 minutes sounds about right for compressor protection. I have a progressive unit install in my coach and will do the same thing on 15 amps. It would be best to run the generator when using the air conditioner as the 15 amps you are getting is to little.
  24. Carl I looked on Monaco website and it list a Diplomat 38 PBD with a 7.5 Quiet Diesel. I could not find a 36 at all. I just noticed he recently brought it and maybe warranty from who he brought it from.
  25. There is four wires coming in from your power cord and should be the same for your generator. I get 50 amp using both shore power and generator and I have same system as you-- maybe different size generator. I think that maybe one wire is open from the generator to make the Intellitec thinking you only have 30 amps. I know open wires can be hard to find as I had to find one broken connection under the coach on the frame. This was the generator stop/prime switch wire. Start at the generator and trace the wires to the transfer switch and be sure all is clean and tight. Like Rich said there could be a junction box between generator and the transfer switch.
