  1. Flooring company can't make money on labor alone they also must sell the floor. Your wouldn't take your own steak and eggs to a restaurant and tell them to cook it. That's what I tell customers that brings their own parts to my shop and ask me to install it.
  2. If it happens to me I will not remember this. Reboot the cell phone, darn electronic.
  3. I get 128 MPG descending a mountain grade, well that is what Aladdin shows me.
  4. I have RoadMaster Guardian Shield and use a furniture blanket across the windshield. The furniture blanket also keeps the windshield of the toad clean when traveling in nasty weather. Put the blanket across the windshield with wipers on top and close both doors on it to keep it in place.
  5. I have something similar to that on the most outer edge front door frame. It's also across the top most outer edge. On the most outer edges on the door itself is a weatherstripping that shape like a triangle. What on there does not stick out the edge at all.
  6. Sounds to me you have some kind of restriction from high pressure to the expansion valve. I would start by inspecting the line that runs up the frame from the rear of the coach to the front. If that check out check the condenser. If that is OK, check line from condenser to the valve. If condenser is on the side don't forget to check the line from the compressor to the condenser.
  7. I looked at my coach door again and it has a weather seal on both the door and door frame edge. I recall that when I first brought the coach it had many water leaks. The door was one of them and they might of added the seals. When I get time I will see if I can get pictures.

  10. My coach don't have that plastic on the front outside edge of door. Instead it has a rubber seal all around the outside edges. You can see it when the door is closed so I think that seal is for wind and rain. The door has triple weatherstripping all around so I get no wind noise but a squeak or light rattle on bumps.
  11. Once the picture is upright I can see it was in deep. I would not use that storage area again if I was you.
  12. Once you get to the Yukon territory the roads are very bad. So many roads are torned up, chipped sealed and permafrost damaged. Go slow, go very slow. Once in Alaska the roads are better south of Fairbanks. Best to go there in the summer. Alaska has two seasons, 9 months winter and 3 months construction season.
  13. dkreuzen, I remember the truck tire place that replaced the tires on my coach really scrub the rim and used a good amount of tire lube. That must make a difference as it is very smooth and not much weights on them. Brett, that shop you mention is in the same city I brought my coach a few years ago. Interesting
  14. I checked and mine don't have plastic on the hinges. Mine has a double seal all the way around on the outside and inside edges of the door frame for the door. Also it has a seal further in for the screen frame. I sprayed silicone on all the seals one time and it didn't help. Before I go out next time I'm going to try a brush on rubber lube that's used on window tracks. I also Deep Creep the door hinges. I guess we are both working on the problem.
  15. Mine does it too. I don't know if it's the seals, screen or the hinges. Seems like once I go down the road awhile it squeaks itself out and is fine.
  16. The InvisiBrake® hooks up to your lights and charges your battery just by plugging into the coach. It also take care of tail, brake and turn signal on tow vehicle. No switch to flip and you have monitor in the coach. Check this link of Roadmaster vs competitors http://roadmasterinc.com/pdf/inv_comp.pdf
  17. They had Michelin at Redmond, OR last summer and they were selling like hot cakes. I already had mine as I had to budget 2 then 4 at a time. I saw someone get 8 without blinking an eye. I wish I had his money. My tires was spun on a off vehicle machine and rides without any vibration. I don't know if they have that on their trucks. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
  18. I use the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain for My Jeep Liberty diesel at 4500 lbs. Its rated for 6000 lbs but that seem to be close to your weight limit. http://roadmasterinc.com/products/towbars/falconat.html The next more stronger one rated at 10,000 lbs would be better. http://roadmasterinc.com/products/towbars/blackhawk2.html I use the portable braking system because my Jeep is a 2006 so it may not last too much longer. http://roadmasterinc.com/products/braking/even_brake.html Since what you have is new this will be less hassle once installed. http://roadmasterinc.com/products/braking/invisibrake/index.html Since your vehicle is new, you may want to protect it. I use this and it is easy to install and remove. http://roadmasterinc.com/products/protection_storage/protect_store.html
  19. Are you allowed to have more than one rebate per family? If so what it the limit?
  20. This happen to me this winter at Desert Hot Springs, CA. I didn't know it was on and how to turn it off. Once I found out it already ran it course about 4 hours. Major clean up job of batteries, terminals and cables afterward. Then I finally found out on the net that holding the charging button a few seconds turns it on and same to turn it off.
  21. For those who wants a feedback this is what I have so far. ABF safety department have identified the driver and forward the complaint to his manager. When he gets to his depot he will be talked to and shown the video so he can't denied it happen. What happens after that is not clear but he will have to sit a few hours of training videos to show what could of happen. After much heated debate on another forum there was a comment from someone that lived in the area. He said that no trucks should ever be in the far right lane unless they were going to exit. That lane is for off and on ramps only. There's a difference of lane markings in CA as compared to WA where I live. In Washington the stripped lines would of got closer together and got solid between his rig and mine and he wouldn't be allowed move left but had to exit instead. I knew the lane I belonged in because my GPS has directed me to stay in the left three lanes and even shown me a picture of the signs miles before I got to them. It appears to me that all of the other trucks knew this except this one. When I talked to one person at ABF safety department she told me that their drivers are not allowed to use GPS or electronic devices. I was confounded by that statement but held my opinion and remained calm about it. I can understand not allowing radar detectors, cell phones turned on or other distraction devices but not a GPS. I find GPS to be more easy to follow and maps don't come with features like what lanes to be in. Furthermore there are big rig GPS that has features that big rigs needs such as bridge clearance and streets and highways that should be avoided by big rigs. The GPS would of directed him to be in the next lane to the left much as I knew because all through traffic was the three left lanes. I also blame the safety department for not allowing GPS because it is safer than following a map or memory. Maybe that truck driver didn't know his lane ended until he was beside me. I didn't have his view so i will never know.
  22. Yes the technology for self driving cars will take awhile to get use to. Right now states one by one is writing bills for self driving cars in their states. When in full swing these cars are supposed to go faster and cut congestion and save fuel. Cars can be small without worry for injury as they are not supposed to crash. If so the liability will rest on the manually operated cars. Yikes! The magnetic car has no wheels or tires on it. Welcome as we go into the first step into the Jetson age or is it already here?
  23. Rich multitasking has been a problem for 20 years or more when cell phones became popular. I can't wait till the self driving car as it will bound evolve to the trucks later. Then I can hop in my magnetic car and tell it where to take me and watch a movie. No more crashes until someone hacks the grid. Oops did I say that. Wayne at least the dash camera will show you at steady speed in the center of your lane. Then when the flatbed sideswipe you as it pass on the left there will be no doubt who is at fault.
  24. OK, I checked the ICC and it only flash the clearance lights front and rear with the headlights switch pulled at least one click. The dimmer switch will flash the headlights high to low only when the headlight switch is pulled out two clicks. That's how it works on my coach.
