  1. After putting up with the resort wifi for a month I pick up a cable box from Time Warner Cable. Runs up to 15G unlimited and cost $52 a month. I install myself in the basement and it wifi two computers, two phones, two tv's. I just turn it in before I leave and they will refund the time not used.
  2. I did the front two first and loved the ride and handling so much that I did the rear four. Do you have 6 or 8 tires?
  3. It will be hard for you to compare as the prices recently went up. I replace mine same as your size and type and it was a little over $500 each not including shop charges. Mounting, balances, and valve stems adds to it so depends where you get it done.
  4. In my coach, it's called an electric stairwell cover. Press a button on the dash and cover comes out from under the floor and comes up even with the floor at the end of it's travel. We only use it when we are rolling otherwise it's in the way.

I believe that the Michelin Advantage Program is only for Michelin tires. As for cheaper tires I will only say this once. You only get what you pay for. Compare how both are built, load rating, pressure. I had low priced tires before and very unhappy with them because they just didn't last including BFG's.
  6. DEF sounds like a wonderful thing to put in a coach that sits long time between uses. Good reason for me to keep my old coach with no EGR or DEF and exhaust filter.

I, like John, replaced mine with Michelin XZA2 Energy made for long haul coaches. I since put about on 15,000 miles ago with no noticeable wear. The Goodyear 670RV were shot at 29,000 miles. I'm betting theses tires will last much longer than the Goodyears. For all the plus over other tires I glad I went with the Michelin.
  8. Mattyboy, you need to stop tampering with the breaker box and RV and call your insurance company. Afterwards call the electrician you used and demand his insurance information. You can also file a complaint with a your local consumer protection agency.
  9. I wonder how many other Norcold had improper recall work done and think their fridge is junk? I went to a Seminar in Redmond on Norcolds and it is stated that it must be level, adjusted and all insulation and panels in place. Those recall boxes trip for more reason than just high temperature. Certain odors or electrical problems can make it trip also. I been here in Desert Hot Springs area for over a month with the fridge set at 5 out of nine. It works flawlessly at that setting recall box and all.
  10. There is a quick disconnect for that a twist of a knob. http://www.zoro.com/i/G2679397/?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google_Shopping_Feed&gclid=CJTPj9yvqsMCFRFhfgody38AuQ
  11. I decided to look today at the icemaker outlet in my coach by shutting power off at the pedestal and it is dead. Then I press the inverter button and that outlet is live so the wiring is good as it is. That is good news for those that have a coach similar as mine. Be sure to make this check as part of the planning stage.
  12. One year of full timing shouldn't burn out LED lights that is advertising as lasting 28 years. I wonder what happening with the bulbs? Shouldn't there be a warranty?
  13. Looks like he is finally happy. Just don't start the engine.

  16. Phil, the thumbnail only allow me to see one picture. Looks like a nice in process project. I hate carpet in the front of the coach that is only meant to get dirty enough to require a professional to clean.
  17. I will be keeping a eye on it. So far no damage done and all is working well.
  18. I read the manual and it states that EQ is started manually. I swear I didn't press the charger button for five seconds and my wife swears the same. At least now I know how to stop if I see it on again. The batteries are serviced and clean including all cables. This also gives the inverter charger a hard reset. I reset the battery type and amps on the panel and all appears to be well.
  19. I have 12 doubles 4 footers like you do in my garage and at 5 years one went out dead. I checked and had 120 volts to the ballast so replacing it was the answer. I brought the ballast at Lowes and the original electrical contractor swapped it out for me at no charge. These have the newer electronic ballast and use t8 tubes so be sure you match the number on the ballast you take out.
  20. OK got an answer from tech support. Looks like I could have canceled the equalizing of the batteries by holding the charger on off button 5 seconds or more. It is a four hour process once activated. They didn't explain why it came on automatically but I have to service the battery anyway. The positive cable is connected to the wrong battery on the far end but shouldn't of made any difference as it was tied to correct post with another cable. It could be a problem if there is a lost connection to the second set of batteries causing it to run off of two instead of four. I will correct that when the batteries are serviced today.
  21. Thank you for also attending Indio NW rally. I was there and met with the president of the Pacer Northwest and Northwest area president. We are Seahawks fans and right after our party Saturday we watched our team win another championship. I also saw you giving out biscuits to dog at the rally and came to shake your hand for the great service to FMCA and your kind heart to animals. I of course was wearing a Seahawks Tee shirt and championship hat.
  22. We hooked up with Verizon Jetpack with 4g speed and 3gb data per month. Has many more hotspots. You can use your phone if you have unlimited data but I think that is hard to get or very costly.
  23. Rich, The inverter charger manual for my model is below. The temperature sensor is at the negative cable as per manual and the battery wiring is correct by the manual. I will check again to make sure. Right now the charger is at float charge at 13.6v 4 amps. I'm emailing Magnum Energy to get more information. http://magnumenergy.com//wp-content/uploads/2012/08/64-0002-Rev-B-ME-Series_Web.pdf
  24. OK as soon as I was going to go into a panic mode the charger finished what it was doing and now at 13.3v 26 amp float charge. How it goes in this so called maintenance mode is confusing to me. I still feel that I must shut everything down tomorrow and clean those batteries.
  25. In my coach I have a Magnum Energy ME2012 charger inverter with inside panel. Every so often I would glance at the readout of the panel and usually it maintained a charge of about 13.5v. I seen several charge rates but mostly at float charge. Today I saw a charge rate of 15.5v and 45 amps and the word equalization on the readout. As expected I checked the batteries and the house batteries are bubbling as they are being overcharged. I shut off the charger at the panel. I checked the owners manual and it has a one paragraph that states it is to break up deposits. I tried doing a soft factory reset to cancel as I don't like overcharging batteries but it continued when the charger is switched back on. It's still on after a couples of hours and I think way too long. I'm thinking about shutting it down overnight for it is already causing corrosion on the terminals. I don't want them to catch fire but they don't feel hot yet. Anybody else have problems like this? I have 4 6v CG2200P 220ah batteries wired to give 12v. They are only 1 1/2 years old so should not be bad. I'm thinking of doing a hard reset but that means removing all power. Setup seems correct for flooded batteries set to 400 amp hours.
