Eric, if your there Wed. I'll be at TCC, so I'll swing by and look, see. Since your not building a house. I see nothing wrong with metal roof of any kind. Insurance is a non issue & your there part time. Looks great, both of them! -
Joe. Due to the location of the M&G, it may not fit in a CRV or a Lincoln!
-
Don, you would know that better than me or Rich! Happy New Year! 🍻 On me.
-
I've flunked the test, 6 years running!
-
Wayne, what park or are you in a hotel ?
-
So I found out in Galveston! Salt air and Vinyl Siding don't do well either, Hardy board & Trek is your friend.
-
That is the truth and has happened to me, more than once, over the past 50+ years of coach ownership! Sometimes we take the wrong side of the "Y" in the road! Grrrr!
-
Out side, where?

Do You Have A Motorcycle With You While RV'ing?

You got a good point. My bad...Sorry! -
Roland, that's a nice park and area! Little far to walk to the Quarters, but that's not the only game in town! A lot of good things to eat and do in the rest of "the Big Easy"! I don't do the Quarters any more, I like non tourist eats and clubs!

I think the OP knows that, but he's not buying a "Vehicle", he's looking for a coach!
-
On a new coach, yes. Used coach, not really. Think of it as a used car, everything is negotiable. That's why you want to compare price at various locations, if you find a make & model & year, that you want to look for...check it out first at NADA, it will give Low & High Wholesale and Low/high retail...then you will know if the dealer is trying to cheat you! I do recommend you buy, thru a RV Dealer and that you get a independent mechanic to look at coach...don't take the dealer or salesman/woman's word for anything! Get everything in writing...your spending a lot of your money! None of them are your friend, you drive out, they stop knowing you! We will try to answer any questions you ask, but it's hard to recommend one dealer over another...too many in 50 States! Yes, there are coaches in both Alaska & Hawaii.

Have not heard that expression, in a long time! 😎

Joe, just keep an I out for gator's and the famous LA. Mosquitoes...one will eat you & the other will carry you off and suck you dry!

Do You Have A Motorcycle With You While RV'ing?

Sorry for your loss, you have my sympathy! Too each his own! I drove a DP for 27 years, by myself, towing a Silverado 4 x 4 Duramax for 8 years, with a Trike in the bed, and had no problem unhitching or hitching up! 2 Chevy Colorado's and 3, Jeep Wrangler's! They make electric bike, rail stands that goes right into p/u beds, then you can learn to hook up truck, no big deal and take everything with you. Before I came along, my fiance Linda, was traveling in her 40 foot DP with a Ford Expedition as a toad...if a 70 year old woman (64-70) can do it...so should you! -
We have 10, 5 gal. gas tanks and 5, 5 gal diesel cans at ranch...some vented, some not. Gas station is 3 miles away and we leave ours stored in a pole barn. Even in Texas Summer heat, Linda has had no problems, since she built the house in 1982/83! Gas cans are RED, Diesel is YELLOW! Carry a can of either, in any size, in coach or jeep? No way!
-
Rich. I have NAPA & no problems with 10 of them in 2 years now! Told them I wanted fresh, they where 3 days old when installed...8, 6v and 2, 12v

RV Trader, Motorhome of Texas, PPL, RV USA...look on web, their all good choices! Any coach before 2007, should have a 2006 chassis and price depends on Make, Model, Length..mileage is not important on a diesel, unless it's above 400,000 or less than 5,000 a year!

NO only has 2 season's...Very Humid and HOT or COLD!

I know, PA is Passport America (Not the State)!

When I remodeled my house in 1986, in the Hill Country, I used 20 gage metal...that was one expensive 5,400 sq. ft. roof. -
Ahh! Only the Shadow knows and he/she is not talking!

dalemalloy. Welcome to the Forum!🎄 Yes, that works well. Just depends on size of inverter and batteries! Would help if we knew the make and model of your coach! Happy trails
