  1. That's 100% correct in any consumer service or purchase! "You get, what you pay for"!
  2. bm02tj. That is correct...I often wonder why, out of all tire manufacturers available, every new DP comes with Michelin Tires! Both RV industry and Commercial...got to be a reason! In the secondary market, folk go out and get every brand in the book, mostly to save money, on a toy/hobby, that cost more, than most houses & it's a rolling earthquake!!!
  3. Yes, welcome! Splendide combo is 24" wide. My coach door opening is 30", If I removed my door, it would be 32 1/2 inch! I'm guessing yours is like mine!

    Lowering coach

Sorry Mike, lousy mechanic...he should have seen it right away! As mentioned, pictures are what tells the story!
  5. Looks a lot warmer than it is...Great Job by all. We are in Rayne, LA. Balmy 55 and 8 days of rain, will start at midnight...should be interesting to see, how many coach's, will get stuck in the mud. I'm on hard gravel and grass! Cruisin Cajun Mardi Grass Rally! 103 coach's.
  6. That's what I call, "Good Eats"! Nice boat.
  7. I run my big awning out, several times a year for inspection, cleaning and maintenance...Also apply some low pressure bug killer inside awning cover...no bees, wasps, hornets, etc taking a trip with me!
  8. Keon. I ditto Bill. Where have you been? You did not renew FMCA, so you left the Forum. Then you renewed and your still not on!
  9. You better find out first, what's the cost of a fishing licence? Don't think they have a "Get your beef license"!
  10. So are the Mosquitoes all over Texas, between rain days! Swarming yesterday...in bed today.
  11. Not all of TX. Here it's 41 and rain! Wind at 15/20 NNE...no fun in sun! ☃️☃️
  12. Bill, in a picture above, he took the arm off the motor shaft.
  13. I can't speak for others! No matter what I make, I'm happier at $2.47 than $4. 47! I paid $5.18 in Taos, NM, when it was $4.10 avg. in 2008 & that's more than, "a few years ago"!
  14. IMHO, your car falls under the heading of, "out of sight, out of mind"! I would have it, undercover on a trailer!
  15. There are no 30 foot coach out there, that I know about, that has a 10,000# rating! What can possibly go wrong? Hitting a CA. pot hole & leaving trailer & rear axle behind. Being stopped by CHP & get a massive ticket. Tail wagging the dog, that's a accident in the making! T bone accident, that's not your fault...but you get to pay! Your illegal, in every State and Canada!!!
  16. Like Joe...Thanks Brett. We also use the Powerpal before plugging in!
  17. radke. I'm with State Farm currently, $2,200 a year, full electric coach...the older it gets, the lower the premiums. That's on same size & type coach. Don't matter if it's a gas or diesel, all electric or combo, Prevost or Roadtrek! I shop for lower cost, every 3 years and my agent knows, sometimes he/she gets me a better rate and I stay. Other times, not. IMHO, Insurance agents are like stock's, trade them out...they'r not your special friend.
  18. I'm like Joe. Mostly concerned about lubrication...what happens in Marine, will extend over to us eventually!
  19. My Progressive hardwire is under the bed, next to the Transfer Switch. High & dry! I have a lock on my pedestal mount & it's got a weather shield. Lightning does strike the same place twice!
  20. Also check with Remco, you might need a auxiliary pump.
  21. Is the coach all electric? On mine, I have to turn the inverter/chargers (have 2) off, if I turn batteries off.
  22. Mine is independent of the TV also, via BR. If your TV fits inside the box, or tight against the box cut out...take a jig saw and open up an inch +/- under TV?
  23. It will also rain along the coast and inland for the next 7 days, starting tonight. We are still in Gladewater, TX. 45/36 and rain tomorrow, ugh! Wed. pm, we will be in Rayne, LA. warm & wet for 5 days! 3 weeks from now, I'll be giving the lawn, it's first haircut...
