  1. The 295/80 are still being used for new coach's! I looked at a new 2019 Entegra Anthem, had 295/80 Drive & Tag, DOT January 2013! Per Sales woman, "they only have 2,114 miles on them and should last another 7 or 8 years"! We left ! Entegra & Jayco is now Thor! IMHO, POS !!!
  2. Surprise is the only one I know in AZ. There is one in Kerrville, Texas and another outside of Galax, VA. Non of them are cheap & they have a Casita attached.

    Newton KOA

Iowa, was correct & now, so is KOA. Did you swing by Colorado on the way to Iowa?

Puonxsyjumper. Nothing personal. Was just thinking about a couple & their 4 dogs! I've said it many times on this Forum, I used to race 1000 to 2000HP boats at 140knt +! As DD69 said.
  5. JESlawson. Welcome to the Forum! What year, make & model coach do you have?
  6. I have a 120v, portable that I plug in outside when grilling steaks or pork, works great for beans or other foods that I can't grill...Linda has one also! We used them 2x in Gillette, I had 30A. I did use Genny once...Rain! Lots of others did the same!
  7. The down side is the amount of current the heat pump uses on start up and on/off cycling....Aqua hot will run on both elect. & diesel for furnace with less spike on current.
  8. Kay. It's a fixed cab over bunk bed with a TV. I just looked at floor plan. Ladder mount. Unit has a sofa, both dinette and Queen bed. 2 slide outs! Class C.
  9. You could put a barrier in front, to keep items in! A lot of Class C's, keep the stereo & TV electronic equipment in that compartment.
  10. A 15,000 BTU with Heat Pump is going to draw more Amps! Since your keeping your coach, I would replace the 3 Duo-therm 13,500's & Thermostat...heat strip on the front. They are 23+ years old.
  11. Herman. The name is Tonka & sold in Norway, under that name. VW used to make one also! Lot's of State's west of the Mississippi, to play off road. My coach is 45 + foot and have never had a problem finding a RV park from California to MA!
  12. Hard ice cream is your friend! Happy travels!
  13. Your right, I can't open it either! Foretravel in Texas, built their coach on Oshkosh chassis for a long time....Since they are still in business and Service all their old brands...they may have your parts in stock! I also did Saudi in the early 70's, as a Drilling Consultant. PIA.
  14. Mike. There are no "Dumb" questions on this Forum! I run the same setup as your asking about, have done so, for 20+ years! Protection at the Pedestal is paramount to a happy coach.
  15. cuemein. Welcome to the Forum! I'm all electric. You got to shut off AC and Microwave. Then it should work! I have a Electric stove & it draws a lot more amps than yours. If you need all the burners at the same time, then it will not work! Carl

    Batteries

Then there is the ion lithium, same ah at 1/3 the weight + 10 years! Unfortunately $$$$ and no place for disposal that I know off. Suppose to be EPA mandatory in 2020!
  17. So Don said...anybody re read a post? Or do you go by some kind of photographic (not working) memory? D Benoit. Agree. I use "F" often!
  18. Isaaac1. 6 weeks in storage should not show any ill affects on your coach. Pin hole leak? That's what Gorilla Tape is for!
  19. On my 2011 Allegro Bus, my awning would come out and if I did not stop it, a screen would come down about 6 feet. It was a Girrard Electric Awning!
  20. Outofourrut. Welcome to the Forum! What part of the welds have failed, is it between the firewall and front of engine? If so, you need a chassis shop, not a Jeep shop!
  21. Ditto! Have been to hundreds of Islands, big & small, still restricted by water. DR is like PR, they both, are big Islands and the inhabitants fly back and forth to America. I lived on Grand Cayman for 6 months a year, between 1978 to 1993...nice part was leaving for work or play and coming back when I wanted. I also retired young (42) in 1985. Spent 4 months a year, 1996 to 2015 cruising Islands all over the world and now I'm quite happy to travel around the US.

    RVA jacks

WD40 is not a lubricant. Silicon or Lithium is. I use my Jacks for stability, if I'm in a park for more than a couple of days. Tonight I'm on air level since we leave in am!
