  1. Ken. How much do they charge an hour labor? I take mine to Texas Custom Coach, Pipe Creek, TX. Labor $85 an hour! Yes, they do everything, from remodel to oil change...
  2. Wayne. Glad to know you don't like that thing up your's! My mind/body rejects anything, I don't have control off. It's not hard to put me under, but hard to keep me there...per the last Doctor. I was put into a 17 day coma, in the early 60's and things have been strange ever since! Roland. I totally agree with you on the PT. You do what they say, no more, no less! they do, know what their doing!
  3. 100% correct. DIY information from Home Depot, makes it a piece of cake, for anyone...including me! I changed out all my plumbing to PEX and all plastic ball valves, to brass! 3 years ago. I apperantly missed one, in the shower, so will replace when I get back from Norway at end of month!
  4. Gordon1152. Welcome to the Forum! Have you tried closing the cover? What happens?
  5. Kay. Texas is not as bad as AL., but close. We pay by weight over 26,000. My best friend has a 5'er combination horse trailer, that cost over a million and comes in at 23,750 pounds, tags=$63 a year....I come in at 47,600, tags = $773. Herman and I have a friend in Lone Star, that has a 47 foot custom Newell. He pay's over $1,600 a year.
  6. Go to irv2, there is a whole section devoted to your plumbing. Also, you can download your owners manual on line.

Forgot to mention. Both coaches have their own 50, 30 & 20 amp receptacles. I plug in to 50 for coach & 20 for a charge minder on my chassis batteries. Linda's coach is wired differently, when plugged in to 50 all batteries get charged.
  8. Been there. My wife and family were from Lebanon, NH. I'm surprised you can do 50 mph! Must have widened the roads.
  9. Who ever did this to you, should be paying to fix it..have you contacted your insurance and showed them the pictures? Wish you would post the name and address of the shop! We all travel a lot & I for one, do not wish to use the place, when I travel thru!!!

Dee, I'm in charge of golf, & Linda will be doing golf carts & mobile telephones! We will be parked in Handicap, on pavement, North end of row # 1. Look for a Red Wrangler with Masonic emblems on rear & 35 inch tires! We got to be there the 14th!
  11. WBill. We know, we agree with you! It should be mandatory from the git go! Maybe, they are shy, or don't think they will ever have a break down?
  12. I have never had a problem with 2 or 3 door residential, opening, no matter how rough the road. Keep the seal (gasket) clean!
  13. Nope. He needs to take more showers! Devil made me do it...Sorry! WBill. Ref: bm, he has a Renegade Toy Hauler...2 axle, 10 wheeler!
  14. elibedarn. Welcome to the Forum! That's a mess! How? All water lines, valves, etc. can be found at Home Depot. Black/Gray dump valves at Amazon! You don't want 2002 stuff, replace with 2018. If the bay door is metal or fiber glass, take it to a Plasma Fabrication Shop!
  15. I generally have to do that in the morning! She's in my prayers also! Keep the faith strong.. Have been told, Red Wine helps! Pain meds are habit forming, see how she does on IP800 or 4 IP200! I do not want Vicodin or any opiods in my body! I had IP 800's, 5X a day for 6 days, then 4 for 6, then an advil as needed for my whole mouth implant teeth! Pain, makes you know, your alive and it will go away, with physical exercise and time! IMHO.
  16. Phil. No need to exit. I would, don't care much for Freeways or Toll roads! I allow enough time and stops to enjoy our country...that's just my humble opinion! With a 700+ mile range, I don't worry about fuel stops!
  17. After all that Betty has been through in the past 4 years, I bet she has one also!

Herman. If it's a dark garage, it will also break a leg of the intruder! Sorry, my bad. I like to leave my step cover on! As soon as the garage door is tampered with, a silent alarm is sent out, Linda gets notified, then the Sheriff comes, about the time he busts a bone! May seem like overkill, but there is 2 DP's and some antique cars, in that garage...we are in the country! Just like you are!

Since you have all this time on your hands. I'm a member of the Lone Star Chapter and giving an invitation to come and meet us at the Six State Rally, in Shawnee, OK. Sept. 19....We also have just a club rally at Buckhorn RV Resort in Kerrville Sept. 27-30!
  20. Ahhh! I remember that now! Sorry. I think you outweigh the OP coach, by a bunch...like mine at 30 tons rolling! Herman. Not exactly wooden, but two axles = 10 tires! Yes, they cost a bit more than yours and mine combined... His Jeep Wrangler is in the rear of coach and is tricked out like mine! Hope he does not have short legs...
  21. Byron, Linda does the card walk! 100+ gal. at a time, don't work at today's price's on a $100-150 max at pump!
  22. All of you, did a great job! We got folks, with great imagination and talent on this Forum! Thank you for sharing!!!
  23. I-90 from Buffalo, WY to Boston, MA. Like WBill, did not see an "Oasis"!
  24. bmctx. Welcome to the Forum! When was the last time you had your coach weight, with every thing in it, for a normal trip? How long have you owned this coach & what is the DOT # on all your tires, are they the same numbers? bm02tj.. What year, make & model coach do you have?
