  1. Eric, we are in Three Rivers, down by lake Choke State Park. front lawn and 3 acres looks just like yours....we had 14/2 at 9 am! Rich is right. Hydrometer is less than $5, I carry 1 in coach, toad. 🥶☃️
  2. That's just wrong on so many levels! You would not see me driving that P/U! He forgot the golf cart...
  3. True, remember New Mexico ban, last April May, June...we went there twice and soo did many of our friends! Same was going on in MI and we have friends that take their coaches and spend summer/fall in Travers City, most places was open, no big deal. Como's plan to shut down NY State, didn't happen for tourists or those driving thru...So he shut it down for New Yorkers instead (my cousins wife from Sweden and her friends flew to NYC to shop once a month!! ) We was in Fl last month and AIM is having a big Rally in Fl this month for sure! Bark, bark, but no teeth!
  4. Lights on? No! Take apart and test each one? Yes! What is your problem?
  5. COVID did not go away, some people are still playing the Fear game, so a lot of things that was going to be open, have been post phoned again! Now their wanting to shut down Florida, we where there a month ago, no difference than anywhere else! I do think that Trump needs to move to California! 😂
  6. OMG. I don't wish that on anyone! Friend or foe....I knew your DW had been in an accident and hope she's doing better now! What's wrapped around the rear axle?
  7. None of my Jeeps would have made it yesterday and both have off road tires....our problem in Texas, this don't happen often, about once every 5+ years. So nobody has chains or stud tires, that I know of. Right now, according to UPS & Linda's son, you can't drive to our house in Burnet, due to ice! 1/2 mile walk each way. I lived and worked out of Stavanger, Norway in the 70's and never had more than aggressive snow tires on my 73' Jeep, rest of year was A/T's. My 1972 MB 280SL had street tires, Company car! I don't remember clear or black ice.
  8. Nomenclature comes from, what it looks like at night. "Black Ice!" Since bridges and overpasses freeze before roads,, it tends to be coldest right before false dawn. Clear ice, makes equally good sense to me!
  9. I'm with Kay & Ian. Is your slide HWH or Power Gear? Check batteries first, then open bay door under slide and while you operate slide have someone look at motor and shaft. The shaft is square not round....when mine on last coach, did what yours is doing, it was a two part problem. The gear inn motor is plastic and some prongs was broke off, also two rollers was stuck and sliding not allowing slide to roll over. I had a rocker switch and by turning it on/off/on/off/on, I moved the slide in 1" increments until closed, then drove to shop!
  10. Richard...NOT. This morning was proof! What brought you to Dallas?
  11. I would rather have a cognac barrel age my wine, or one that had Port in it...preferably from France! Congress has not had much to do in the last 8 years!
  12. Hi don, what problem are you having?
  13. Wayne. Dipped if I know! Probably just answered a heating post. Valance door awning with ruffles and heat strip?
  14. jon48. Your TV is a disposable item! Look at all the Links moonwink recommended...then stop and think!
  15. Herman, OP never came back since posting in Sep. 2020....Good bet, he found it from WBills Link or Ray's suggestion. Joe, Kay, Wayne, Bill. Duh!
  16. My old WB 2007 Tour 40KD used the Chassis batteries. It was recommended, that the ignition was on & engine running while bringing in slides, both the Driver side (HWH) and the elect. slides! Your 05' operator manual will have the info....in the event you don't have one, download it from WB. Ian may be on to something. Also, are there any issues with the other slide outs?
  17. He needs an old junk yard truck and move to Baltimore.
  18. That's him! He's been up at the Burnet house.
  19. Unless it is in Norway, Sweden or Newfoundland, my wife balks at that idea! Can't say I blame her.
  20. National Indoors RV Center in Atlanta is my recommendation.
  21. Bcusick60, welcome. I'm Past National Director in INTO and currently involved with The South Central Area. There probably is chapters in some areas that require a sponsor or two, I only know of one and that is the Crusin Cajuns, I'm a member and their only open to coach owners.
  22. I really only care about the Lady's loss, not how! 🙏 Prayer for the family and 🙏 for strength in this time of sorrow to the wife! RIP
  23. Weather in the hill country is 75 currently, but Thursday morning for a week it will be a hard freeze at night and 35/45 days! WBill will be freezing his N off along with Herman and several others in Lone Star Chapter! Our coach will be back in our possession in about 2 weeks....found out 2 hours ago! We will remain in Three Rivers, TX. until then, no freeze warnings, lowest temp is 39. 😂
  24. WOW...that must be one of the earliest cookie cutter coaches (More than 1 built)! I wasn't even born yet....a lonely sperm that survived. 😂
