Route from Panama City fl to Denver CO
manholt replied to mjkfmca's question in Destinations/Attractions
I like #1 the best, scenic, little traffic between Amarillo and Denver, when I had gas engines, that was our choice....Now it don't matter! -
Richard, I remember when you went thru the learning curve on your tank! Perhaps you can PM the OP and help out?

I have three AC's with heat pump, when it gets to 38/40 degrees, all you get is outside cold air, inside! I don't have gas furnace, but all the ones I have had, runs on 12 volt. How long have you lived in cold weather?

Yep, we all have brain farts! Its a real beach, but it happens! -
garmp, I'm sorry, but your original post got lost in the last Forum shut down...we seem to have lost a bunch of OP's! Jim Beam is the only Bourbon, that I know of....the rest are Whiskey! Since JB had a major fire last year, you'll have to call them about tour info! Also, with COVID-19, they may all be shut to visitors!

Mike, you was upgraded last year! Welcome to class 102! 😂

We have OH cabinets in our slide outs!

Yes, on the See Ya it is a lock box chassis...the Alfa Gold is on freightliner XC chassis! Last built Alfa was in 2007. When Fleetwood went bankrupt, so did Alfa...owner of Fleetwood died with no will (I'm going to live forever), that meant Calif put a 55% death tax on the estate or I believe it was in excess of $80, million! REV Group, a division of Allied, bought the rights of all Fleetwood products, except for the Fleetwood Mobil home division!

I just hope and pray that the Forum don't go blank! Lots of strange posts are popping up as "new post."
-
Herman, have noticed the same! What's on the Forum to attack, it's a open book?

Interesting. At a FMCA Rally in Lebanon, Tenn. The Gold had just come out and the owners of Alfa (he was 6'7") was there. His height, was the reason for the height of the slide & coach! I was still 6' 9" and asked for overhead cabinets....He's reply was, that it would not appeal to tall people. Huh??? He was the Founder of Fleetwood, grandson! Family was a little strange. Alfa did build a good, solid coach! If you want to add cabinets, I see no reason why not. Just make sure it has a solid truss or back board and head board to screw into! Most overhead and other cabinets are modular, just like the furniture!

This post is 4 years old since I replied last. Had you started a New Post, more folks will see it. Now, interesting thing about putting your coach info under your signature, if you get another coach and list it, it will show up on all posts you answered, all the way back to when you joined! At the time of this post, I had a 2010 American Tradition 45Y!

Back off Herman. Think back about 3 years ago, you was in the prosses of "Deleting one Post & accidentally got rid of all 3,100 of them!" That was the "oops moment", I was referring to. June 25, 2018 Nothing to take offence off. Hopefully, everything is now the new normal...🙏
