  1. Cummins is/was my choice. Current is the upgraded ISX600 with 2050 torque!
  2. call FMCA or go to Market site and you can order the plastic mold plate or the vinyl graphic. If you have a old aluminum cast plate, then any Sand Casting shop can make you copy's.
  3. Entegra is owned by Thor! There's hope for us Newmar owners still.
  4. Every-time I hear about Ion Lith, I have vision of the "Dream Liner." by Boeing! FIVE, RS. Ditto!
  5. Bill, not Newmar. Chassis manufacturer!
  6. I totally agree with everything said. One add on, leave the RV in FL..Fly to Oregon and back!
  7. We went to DPS with ours and they where happy to do it. Not my first time & have done it in several different States! Free? Yes, but I always make a donation to their K-9 Unit.
  8. The Governance is the ND's! Other than a small percentage of members, that wanted to abolish it, because they did not want to be a part of a chapter and therefor wanted to form their own representative structure for all, that made no sense! Back then, we had over 400 chapters...it was posted on this Forum, around 2016 or about the same time "The open to trailers" came about. Don't remember the persons name who started it, but he was in charge of the less than 60 year old group! It was rejected, because it was not an improvement on the system we have. As for the future of FMCA ? As "deadeye" said, you can't grow if your out of touch of what the current membership want and the needs of future generations! IMHO you also need leaders, who care more for the wish of the members, than their own "Legacy!"
  9. Rich, do you have 2, or just one? I'v had both fail, so now I replace each time I flush mine out. I prefer side radiator.
  10. RayIN. Having been a Past National Director (delegate), it goes like this...I represented a Chapter at National Level. There is no regional level, unless you'r the Area SR, VP! ND's represent the wishes of the Chapter membership, we are also Governance...you can get a PDF file from FMCA on Policy & Procedure, Constitution and By Laws! deadeye (you'll have to explain that AKA to me). You hit the head of the nail.
  11. Make, model of coach...All elect or propane/elect.
  12. UH, yea...the circuit board & it's located behind heather.
  13. I do as Herman! All you need is some water, that you don't see at the camp ground shore power, with CB on...you'll light up like a Xmas tree on arching! DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE !
  14. Herman. Hot water heater/furnace is a closed system that is heated by either gas/elect or diesel...on certain high end coach's the engine will heat the hot water as you travel. Wayne is correct, I have had the same leak at water in & out...also!
  15. hphock. Welcome! MHO, go with Kay S., or Wayne! Both good, sound, advice!
  16. Welcome! Tropi-Cal was made by National, National went Bankrupt in the Sub Prime fiasco of 2008-2010. The VIN# is for chassis, so my suggestion is to take the coach to a paint shop & they can match the colors. Avg cost is $200 per color!
  17. Don C. Good to know, your still alive! The Ball Game has changed this year, most State Parks are open to residents only or closed, NP's are mostly open. We are in West View RV Resort, Cortez, Colorado for 3 weeks! We called to extend our 7 day reservation, a week, before we got here. Everything is open on a 50% capacity, all NP and BLM 4x4 trails are open! We'll be back in Ruidoso Downs, NM, for the Labor Day horse races!
  18. I had that same issue on a 2007 WB Tour 40' with a Cummins 400. My engine cooling tank was half the size it was suppose to be...replaced by WB because their end cap would not fit over the original chassis! I lived with the yellow light coming on in the NM, CO, WY, mountains every year. Downshift to 5 or 4 did help...rear radiator.
  19. Jim S. Does that mean your going to carry a spare TRW ? 😁 Joe, we got a spare pump at home and yes, it's going with us to Alaska in 2021.
  20. Richard, I think they, the OP, got it 18 months ago!
  21. UH, easy way to check furn in high ambient temp, is to place a frozen bag of peas, corn, carrots, etc over thermostat.
  22. Your right...multi plex can be a problem for an older single zone wire...I'm still learning.
