When I had a gasser prior to buying my current diesel pusher. I had dynamat installed on the engine side of the dog house. https://www.amazon.com/Extreme-Dynamat-Xtreme-Sound-Deadening/dp/B002S4TPP2 It helped quite a bit you could almost talk in a normal voice. It also helps with the heat. Jaime

I have a 2018 Pace Arrow 36U. It has the Cummins 6.7 340 hp. The allison 2500 in mine is a six speed. I was in Colorado and South Dakota and did not have any problems. I was pulling a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Averaged about 8.4 mpg.

Diesel Motorhome MPG-- Honest Answers Please
jgallego replied to luckydog1949's topic in Type A motorhomes
We bought a new 2018 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 36U last week in Hammond, La. Driving it back to Deer Park a suburb of Houston, Texas around 300 miles we got 8.8 miles per gallon running the generator and pulling a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. We were happy with this result. Our old 2014 Coachmen Mirada averaged 5.8 miles for the four years we owned it. We are leaving this coming Saturday for Shawnee, Oklahoma and then to Kansas and other parts of Texas so I will be looking forward to seeing what the miles per gallon will be. Jaime -

Connect On The Go - Round 2
jgallego replied to BillAdams's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
I have an existing Verizon Mifi card. I followed the instructions and and completed the application online. Waited for notification letter which I received at 6 am this morning. Called in to Verizon and had them change to the new data plan. No problems. I am using my existing mifi card as I can use it internationally. Jaime -

We have the brake buddy stealth in our 2013 Honda CRV and in our 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Works real well. It is a permanent install. on both. Jaime -
I had a 3/4 ton Chevrolet Silverado diesel truck. When I went to Office Depot and was just in a few minutes they stole one hub cover. It cost me over $100 to buy a new one. Jaime

I also have unlimited talk and data in Canada & Mexico with my AT&T plan. I did have to call them to add it to my account. There was no additional charge for the add on.. I have used it in Canada without a problem.

The data plan service on my previous tow Equinox was with ATT. So you can add it to your account if you have a share plan. I never really used it. Jaime

Need Info From Any Six State Wagon Master
jgallego replied to michaelhillhouse's topic in Campgrounds
Check on the KOA on Lake Conroe. http://koa.com/campgrounds/lake-conroe/ They have plenty of spots. We had a rally there in January with 41 rigs. Plus there was also another large group at the same time. It is a nice park we enjoy going there. Jaime -
Look at Rick's Specialty Vehicles http://www.ricksesv.com/ I bought a golf card from them at the Six State Rally. It can actually fit in suv. I had an Chevrolet Equinox at the time and before I bought it had him put it in the Equinox. We then added the roof and all the extras which can still be easily removed but I ended up buying a new 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Now I place the golf cart in the truck bed and pull the truck with the motorhome. We love the golf cart. It will haul four people or you can flip the back seat and make it into a cargo carrying area. Winegard RT4000T RoadTrip Mission In-Motion Satellite TV
jgallego replied to s2bingtravelers's topic in Electronics
I have them and it works great. Be sure and get the hard drive from dish for the dvr function. I have two satellites the second one for the bedroom is not an in-motion. As Herman mention the in-motion only can view one satellite at a time so you are limited in the second lcd. The in-motion works fine and the family watches tv while I am driving. Also get a set of headphones that way you don't have the radio and TV competing. Jaime -
With dishnetwork the slingbox is built into the receiver. It works well as long as you have good bandwidth at your home or where you are watching it. Jaime

If you have ATT universe, Dishnetwork, Commcast you can watch all your channels on your smart phone. I can hook up my iphone with a hdmi adapter to my 40" led television. Again as Newbie mentioned you have to have bandwidth. Fortunately I still have the ATT grandfathered unlimited data plan. Although after 5 gig you get warning e-mails that they are going to slow you down because you are using too much data. We were in the Rio Grande Valley this past December and our Dishnetwork was past our local channel coverage area. In order to watch the Texans one Sunday I hooked up the iphone to the led. We also watched some local news. You can also use your smartphone on wifi if you have a fast enough connection. Jaime
