We were supposed to have a 295/80R22.5 (factory size), when we bought it it had new tires what were an incorrect load range, those were a 295/75R22.5. Once I saw the error they replaced the steer tires only (only axle that was actually overloaded). I went with the 12R22.5 because of its availability on the road should I need a replacement tire. The 315 was a consideration back then, what turned me off at the time was the weight of the tire was enough to impact MPG's and I was concerned with my wheel offset the tires might "kiss" while in operation. When we put the 12R's on I also replaced the rear inner duals with aluminum wheels to lighten up the rotational mass.

Sounds like you are headed down the right path. Check with RV cams and find out what our options are. Our last coach I removed the dash mounted CRT monitor and replaced it with an LCD the mounted inside the drivers side sun visor. Probably not a good fit for a class A but just an example of how creative you can get with monitor placement.

Richard, the FS561 is a good tire. Our coach has the 12R22.5's on it now and I bought these; https://simpletire.com/bfgoodrich-12-r22.5-63223-tires They ride great, no complaints so far and they have 25,000 miles on them and they are just shy of 2 years old. The 12R22.5 should be readily available should you need a replacement, that is a very common over the road truck tire size.

Not likely. Did they drain and replace the boiler fluid? If so that could cause all of your issues above. I would reach out to whom ever performed the service and ask.

Do you know what they actually touched as part of the service? Just a nozzle replacement and electrode adjustment wouldn't cause this. It was either overfilled or there is a valve shut off and as it gets hotter its backing up into the supply/overflow tank.

This is all Michelin has to offer in your size; I cannot imagine there would be any issue with this tire. There are not many manufactures with this size tire. Michelin, Toyo (TOYO Model M144) were the only two I could locate in a brief search. Continental, BF Goodrich, Firestone and Bridgestone didn't offer this size.

The issue, My wife loves to explore those stores, something about stationary. She is also big into Scrap booking so this could get expensive, at least ill save a few $$ now

I am currently shopping for a replacement ATS WITHOUT EMS. We have the the original IOTA that was installed in July 2001. No issues with it but its time for an upgrade. I did get information from one of the forums electrical experts, looking for any real world experience. Anyone have a preferences, past experiences etc? Our coach is a 50 amp with a 7500 Watt Generator. I believe they are more centered for a few reasons. Passenger can adjust the radio and radios are often used while parked as well as in route somewhere. If my radio was in the dash wrapped around me when parked it could be a nuisance to access especially with the remote that is kept in the dining area. I believe it needs a line of sight to pick up the signal. Post some photos of your layout.

TTRV, see if there is a place that you can mail yours to and have it repaired. Probably just the injector driver portion that has failed. Fairly common on CAT due to heat, couple that with an RV application and low air circulation around it to keep it cool and failures become more common. It would save you from any programming also.

I did that many times with our boat and coach. We don't have them now, the hardest part was lining it up to get to the boat launch. The boat and trailer was 32' (plus the out drive) and the coach was 31' long, if the launch area was tight it became a real pain quickly.

Usually the difference is in the programming, like maximum speed for cruise control vs pedal could be different, exhaust brake function could be programmed different. Nothing that once its up and running the dealer couldn't customize to your preferences. This is all assuming they both are 3126E's. When I worked at the dealership, I would keep a box of known good different modules, many times I would pull from the box to get something started in the parking lot and drive it into the building. If you have ever tried to push a motorhome you can understand why. Back in those years you could do that. Once the newer technology came along it wasn't so easy and eventually turned almost impossible as many differences came along and all of the modules were eventually coded as a group, once one "stranger" was introduced, nothing worked.

If it is a 3126 engine I’d swap them over. The worse that could happen is it won’t start.

I’m guessing it’s parking brake is one drum on the driveshaft, they work...ok. Not the greatest design and a real problem if not maintained properly. Bet that will cause some serious delamanation!

I am actually surprised it moved with the parking brake set. Ours wont move if the parking brake is set unless you really get on the throttle, even on a hill. Wait, probably not fair as I have Fire Apparatus linings and I changed the shoe size on both axles..
