We are changing from queen to king size. Have had sleep number at home and liked it, now have serta i comfort and like it as well. Standard size will not work, can only have 72" wide. Don't want to bust the bank but not cheapest either.

Looking to replace mattress in our motorhome. Recommendations needed.

Busy man! Will have to get together at meeting.

I cut 5" off the bottom of mine, we shall see what happens next month. We are planning to be at Diesel club meeting beginning of July. My wife is scheduled for further back surgery the 12th of July. Hope she will be able to walk better.

Has anyone installed Coretec engineered vinyl plank flooring in their motorhome? If so how has it performed and how is it to live with?
-
Thank you Carl, My youngest son lost his kidneys 20+ years ago and is on his second transplant but not doing well so travel is out for him now as soon he may need to return to dyalisis. Walking is becoming nearly impossible for my wife due to problems associated with spine reconstruction surgery so we are not sure how much longer we will travel. We would like to replace the floor and have a king size bed installed in our Bounder, I know that Texas has many suppliers of this service but just for logistics and ease on us southern Michigan or northern Indiana would be best. Thanks, Roland

Any recommendations for companies near Elkhart Indiana that do rv renovations? Due to health changes with my wife and son I have decided to keep my coach for while longer. Would like to upgrade the floors and bedroom. Looking for a company near the Elkhart area, this is only 2-3 hours away from me. Thanks.

Bill, that is where I am also. Really don't have a facility but think I could do some of the regular maintenance.
-
For those of you doing some or all of your own maintenance what type of facility do you have? I am talking about oil/filters and transmission fluid/filters. Do you have a pit or just crawl on your back. Do you remove a wheel or dual wheel for some things and if so what type of jack is needed? I am talking about a DP 36'-40'. Is this best left to professional mechanic?
-
Joe, How did you cut the tiles? Especially around the window. Did you apply a sealant or is it not necessary? Thanks, Roland

Great Job!!! the video is amazing, makes it seem easy. Did you use his products? Where did you find them.

Thanks all for the help.

Freightliner did confirm that my steering box can be adjusted. Who would be the service provider to perform this? I have my coach ready for sale and this is the last issue I want to try to fix.
-
On a Freightliner XC chassis can the steering gear be adjusted to tighten steering lash?
-
Yes, and there is some thought that the mud flap might change the rear radiator cooling. Not sure about that but I am going to try.
-
Hi Mark, Welcome aboard. With what you currently have you may not need anything else. I and going to take my rock guard off and use mud flaps only. Others have found this to be successful. Safe travels and enjoy your R V. Roland

This is the meeting I am talking about. Is there going to be any seminars offered at this meeting in Bremer?
-
Is anyone going to attend the Diesel RV club meeting in Indianapolis this upcoming July?
-
I did this 6 weeks ago while we were in Arizona, very easy. It was all plug and play. The people at RVCAMS were great to work with. Give them your info and they can supply you with new monitor and camera. Roland

Since we acquired coach used, I don't know if the transmission fluid and filters have ever been changed. The coach has 77000 miles on it and we are getting it ready for sale, is it time to have this service performed?
-
Does the outer wheel use a straight extender? On my coach the outer wheel has a u curve extender. Did they mount the wheel wrong?
-
Joe, Did you make a hole in the wheel cover for the inner valve, or is that a hole in the outer wheel?

My older son brought to my attention a new 2017 HR Endevor at our local dealer that he really likes, I know it isn't what we have been talking about. I have made him aware that not apples to apples with older Newmar but he is willing to add a significant down payment if we go this way. Model is HR Endevor 40E. Am I crazy! Roland
