manholt Report post Posted October 20, 2019 Any body, under the fire pit? Hoffa?..old .45, I would have looked after photo! Bill, agree!
jleamont Report post Posted October 20, 2019 380 and 9mm best as I can tell. There is so much crust on them I couldn’t read it. They were fired! I looked for that first. really makes you wonder what that story is?
five Report post Posted October 20, 2019 Gettysburg is so big with so many skirmishes, you really need a professional (or a Gettysburg hobbyist) to take you around in order to see everything and how everything ties together. As for the ammo, both the 380 and 9mm came after the Civil War.
manholt Report post Posted October 20, 2019 One 380 vs one 9mm...guess who won? No Hoffa there? Both have been around since 1906.

wildebill308 Report post Posted October 20, 2019 Spray foam insulation on your shelves and set the glasses in it before it gets hard. They won't move around. See I am still on subject. Back when I was in school, yes a long long time ago, We had a family friend whose son worked for the park service at Gettysburg. One of the jobs he had was to work in a building casting musket balls that they rolled between boards to "age them" then take them out and sprinkle them along the trails and walkways. I will have to save up some no longer usable brass and do the same thing it could convince the less informed that the 9MM was use in the Civil War. wolfe10 Report post Posted October 24, 2019 Guys/Gals, One of the basic forum rules is no discussion of politics. No problem thus far, because supporting Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is important to all RV'ers (and should be to everyone). But, let's not discuss other Propositions that may have political overtones. Thanks. Brett/moderator
dbenoit Report post Posted October 30, 2019 I just got an email from FMCA Tour Connection. It's for Autumn Harvest, 12 days 9/16/20. Is there somewhere in the forums that these are discussed? manholt Report post Posted October 30, 2019 DB. We did the 61 day Eastern Canada this year, we would have taken the Fall Harvest, but ran out of time. We are signed up for 60 day Alaska in 2021...there are 3 major Tour operators for RV's. Fantasy, SOL and Adventure. All good, same itinerary, cost is based upon meals and side tours. SOL is more bare boned and about $2,300 less for 60 days Alaska. You can find out everything you need on Internet.
