manholt Report post Posted May 14, 2020 Jim, Linda here! What are you using to watch netflix? Cell phone or wifi card? Do you have any type of cell phone booster? Just thought I would check! I have a booster but with new coach haven't found way to secure the pole to coach that has the antenna on it. We have no ladder. Also need to find a way to get the cable into the coach from the antenna to the booster inside! Always looking for new ideas! Linda
hermanmullins Report post Posted May 14, 2020 Linda, there are flag stands that you roll one wheel on. Might work for your booster. I have seen them at CW but I am sure others have them. One thing you'll don't need is a ladder that so the old cogger can get on top of the coach, pardon me, that the young cogger. I keep forgetting he is younger than me. 😉 Herman
manholt Report post Posted May 14, 2020 Jim, she does a lot of shopping at wilson..2 booster's (1 currently in Three Rivers), since we don't have a ladder in back, the pole dos'nt work. We both have Verizon Jet Packs, hers is bigger than mine! I have no problems anywhere, I use Airplane mode.
hermanmullins Report post Posted May 14, 2020 How does Airplane made help? Do you set your phone or MiFi on it. I have never used Airplane mode before. Here it about 65 and sunny with a 15 to 20 mph wind. Washing the coach now. Got the sunny side done before it got to drying to fast. Now on to the shadyside. And I am doing it all without a mask on.🤪 Herman
hermanmullins Report post Posted May 14, 2020 Carl, Larry Huff has his amplifier mounted on his over the air antenna. I don't know how he routed it but it goes up with his OTA antenna. You might ask him. Herman

I used one to experiment with sold by TechnoRV using suction to hold an external WiFi antenna.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RGGMYQC?tag=duckduckgo-ffnt-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=
manholt Report post Posted May 15, 2020 RayIN, we have 4 of them and used 2 as a back up when we had a ladder, the old coach was 12' 3" high, this one is 13' 4". Herman, the Airplane mode is on my computer under settings...have not been bounced off in 3 months now!
dbenoit Report post Posted May 19, 2020 Our 1st weekend out was wicked awesome, so good we booked next weekend. Nice all around @ Strafford/ Lake Winny South KOA. Put the Marg machine to the test, hours and ingredients. DW has been promoted to “expert”, she kinda took over. I was the test subject....

manholt Report post Posted May 19, 2020 We remember 16A and those who, like us wanted to go slow, stop and take lots of pictures. Then we remember the AH who tried to make a race course out of it...we caught up to them, their big F350 crew cab had gotten stuck in one of the blind corner entrance to a tunnel...bad day for 2 couples from OK and FMCA! Alpine Inn, food was good, dessert is the real reason to go there! 😁
manholt Report post Posted May 20, 2020 We where last there in 2018 for FMCA Gillette Rally & heard about it...most things are curable, STUPID is not.
