hermanmullins Report post Posted September 19, 2020 My son told me to try their BBQ sandwich. I was a bit reluctant because it was prepackaged, but I was surprised at how good it really was. And yes when inside it gets expensive. It's like going to Camping World after you bought your first RV, Wow! we could really use that when camping and 5 year later it is still unused, with the price tag still on and taking up storage space. It's the experience of it. Been there, done that and have the Tee Shirt. Hermnan

RIP Problem with Bucee's, is that you don't know witch ones take Big Rigs/Trucks! The one off I-45 in League City was a real trill to get away from, no 18 wheelers or RV facility. Yes, I read that this morning, 20 minutes after her death the "news" reported liver cancer, can't survive without either one.
elkhartjim Report post Posted September 20, 2020 Pertaining to Buc'ee's allowing RV'ers, all the locations have signs at each entrance "no trucks". According to management, this is t stop the 18 wheelers from using them as rest stops. I've used the following Buc'ee's for fuel with no problems: Bastrop, New Braunfels, Katy, Texas City, Luling, Waller, Wharton, Madisonville, and Richmond. The store in Luling is too small and always very crowded.
manholt Report post Posted September 20, 2020 Agree on Luling! If I need fuel at that point, I use Loves across I-10 and get my 16 cents per gal. discount, at 110-130 gallons it adds up!
wildebill308 Report post Posted September 23, 2020 Just a change in subject. Found this on a Winnebago "drop test" Don't know what it means with no comparison and no evaluation outher than visual. Haven't seen anyone else do this. Bill

Monaco did a similar crash test for front impact and roll over back in the early 2000's. I saw a Dynasty like Herman's run off an overpass due to a tire failure and roll down the embankment onto the highway below and the only obvious damage (besides massive scratches and broken windows) was the roof units got cleaned off and crushed and were scattered onto the highway. richard5933 Report post Posted September 23, 2020 Interesting test. Would like to see more RV manufacturers doing that with various models, including some of the low-end Class A rigs. A rollover test might be more real-world though, something like this: I've been on these buses overseas - they are pretty stout and seemed much better made than some of the ones we're used to. Curious to see how a low priced Class A would hold up in a test like this.

Back in the early 90s, we’re on our way back to US from LaPaz, MX after running the Baja 1000, came over a small hill and found a class A sitting on the side of the road. The entire body was in a pile of broken wood etc along the road and just the chassis and two front seats were left. A couple of passerby were putting one of the occupants in the back of an open Jeep. We were in the middle of nowhere . On the same trip home we were stopped by the Mexican Army and all our cars and persons were searched. Kinda scary knowing you have absolutely no rights and these guys had loaded military automatic rifles.

wayne77590 Report post Posted September 28, 2020 (edited) Ernie, go to Settings, General, about, software update and make sure you are up-to-date. If up-to-date, hold the off button and volume down button at the same time until the "Power Down/Off" display appears. Slide to power off. Give it about 10 seconds then hold the power button on until the Apple logo appears. See if that helps. As suggested, check the settings for blocks and other items. Also try this: Renew Lease Edited September 28, 2020 by wayne77590
