  1. I edited his post to delete his personal information. Herman
  2. Not to worry, lots of us are still there, even Carl. Carl has been motorhoming since they still had cranks to start the engines and he is only gotten to 101.38. Sorry Carl please forgive me 🙏, Bill made me do it. Herman
  3. Bill, true but I have found that the only way to completely get rid of phantom draws is to disconnect the positive and negative batteries. I have found there are those little critters where you least expect them. "Snaky little devils!" Herman
  4. Did you check each cell on each battery? If so and the 1.3 and 12.65 were averages then you have a bad battery. If it were me I would replace both. I just replaced two 31A Duracell 12 volt batteries in our coach. I purchased them at Sam's. The ones that I replaced were 4 years old and had served us well. The price per battery was $109.00 each. 5. Try this place. https://pdxrvwholesale.com/products/12-vdc-illuminated-switch-on-off If you pull the switch there will be a number on it. If I remember correctly it is just an off/on switch, Herman
  6. Albert, Welcome to the Forum. Boy, what a wide open question. There are so many variables here. Do you want one to light up an area or one to direct light on an object? Do you want one like a Coleman lantern with a mantle or Battery operated? Kind of like which is best Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler and so on. Hope you find what you like, and again Welcome. Herman

  9. I know, it's scary when I can understand Carl. Herman
  10. Good point however I would have it confirmed in writing from the park's owner. Just as a precaution. Herman
  11. Hydrogen Peroxide 4 times a year. Herman
  12. You should have an 120 vac receptacle in the engine compartment. It is for the "engine heater" or "block heater". That is where your male plug plugs into. When you are plugged into shore power the receptacle is hot when the block heater switch is on. In your case I am not sure which is for the block heater from shore power or from the circulation pump from the Aqua Hot which when the AQ is on will send hot coolant through the engine to preheat the engine. By not seeing how yours is set up it is hard to tell. (I am assuming since when you turn on the "engine heater" it start to draw power that is the switch for the block heater) Herman
  13. If you will go to fmca.com and login it will open the FMCA website. At the upper left side there is "Membership". Click on it and select "Dashboard". That opens up to every thing. There is a Tool Bar across the top of the page and more selections all the way at the bottom of the page. Can't get any simpler that that. Hope this helps. Herman
  14. Been in worse conditions then this before but didn't expect it here. Back in 1958, I, along with about 150 other man were snowed in at the hanger for 10 days (in Newfoundland). The one thing everyone ran to when we got back to the barracks were the showers. At least this time we have clean clothes and working showers. (OMG I just realized that that was 63 years ago) Herman
  15. I remember Choke Canyon Lake. Fished there for several days. I should have known that any Lake the Advertises their Catfish Tournament would not be a top notch lake for large mouth bass. However they have enough alligators for 10 lakes. They were everywhere. Herman
  16. How about the Weather we are having. Here in North Texas it's 7 degrees and even as for down south in Harlingen it's only 27 and those seem to be the highs for today. But we are warm, have power and have lots of Hogan's Hero's recorded. Oh yea and Hot Chocolate too. Herman
  17. Have you checked the circuit breaker at the pedestal? Herman
  18. The next Lone Star Rally is in Marble Falls at Sunset Point April 15-17. There have been limited spaces assigned so if you would like to go you might call Sunset Point and make a reservation now. (830-798-8199) Herman
  19. For all that may have been going to the Lone Star Rally at Coffee Creek RV Park in Santo, Texas, I am sorry to say it has been cancelled due to the weather condition expected next week. The temps and snow are predicted to be very bad. Herman
