  1. Bruce, What number are you calling? 513-474-3622 I just called and got right through. After the voice said "Thank you for calling FMCA, someone will be with you in a moment" did take a bit longer the normal. It could be that it is lunch time there. Herman
  2. My advice is to take it to an Auto or RV shop and have it done by a professional. I went the DYI and wasted over $100.00 worth of R134A and still had to take it to shop. Problem solved. And don't have a sticks and brick A/C tech work on it. They are great with Home A/C but not with auto. JMHO Herman
  3. If you vent to the inside you will have high heat input and high humidity, plus it takes for ever to dry the wet clothes. I would check with Fleetwood. Herman
  4. Not crazy at all. It seem possible that a plug installed on the coach and into your power panel would work. I would run at least #8 to the panel. Be sure the area where the generator is running well ventilated. Herman
  5. Welcome to the Forum. Have your friend contact an RV Dealer in both locations to see if the have any drivers dead heading back to Florida. Herman
  6. I believe it had a Dodge 440. I met a gentleman in El Dorado Arkansas that was buying everyone he could get his hands on. At that time he was putting Ford V10s in them. I can't remember what transmission he was using. He said that being a Gas pusher with a rear radiator they always had overheating issues. I only spoke with him once and have on idea what ever happen to his business. Herman
  7. Joe, Welcome to the Forum. I run Toyo M144 295/80R - 22.5 load range "H" (16Ply). 1/2 the price of Michelins. Again welcome, Herman
  8. Tom, the Smart Wheel is made by VIP, Vehicle Improvement Products. You have the skills to replace the module. Their techs are great. It's amazing what the module controls. Horn, lights, wipers just to name a few. Let us know how you make out. We were so glad to you and Louise last week. Herman
  9. dpbart, welcome to the Forum. The coach sounds like it was lived in more than traveled in. If you plan on redoing the inside you seem to have a blank canvas. Have all fluids changed and batteries checked out. Belts replaced and check dates on all tires. Drive it to make sure all steering is sound. Good luck, Herman
  10. Ross is correct on finding a member. But if you don't find the party there it dosen't necessarily mean that they aren't members. It could mean that they opped out of having their information made public. You can call members service and if they are members you can ask members service to contact them for you. Hope you find what you need. Herman
  11. Stephen, welcome to the Forum. Nice that you want to purchase a Class B Van, Are you looking for advice or what? Herman
  12. I appreciate all your comments. Thank you! Herman
  13. Chevrolet calls theirs 4500 HD, 5500 HD and 6500 HD. most all with the Duramax while Ford runs the Power-Stroke, both very good engines. Herman
  14. Welcome to the Forum. First where are you starting from, Huntsville, AL? You have a pretty hefty schedule. Travel one day to a place that you would like to visit. Take a day ot 2 to see the area. Then travel a day to another spot and again stay a day or two. Keep you mileage to no more than 250 miles a day. You seem to have the time to smell a lot of roses so do it. Good luck safe travels and again welcome. Herman
  15. Prices are fair down here. Going to Gillette we have reservations at three parks 1 @ $51, 1 @ $45 and one @ $50. That is pretty normal for our area. Herman
  16. I think Chevrolet calls them 450, 550 and 650s. Must be for the guy that wants to dive a big rig but doesn't like heights. 😃 Herman
  17. I can remember not too long ago when you could buy 3/4" CD 4'x8' plywood for $15.00. At the price you showed I can't even guess what a sheet of Marine plywood would be. 🤔 Herman
  18. Set down, take a slow deep breath and tell Linda to not make them so strong.😁 Herman
  19. Norm, is your inverter turned on, if so whether you are on shore power or not you will have 110 volts to you outlets. That is as long as your batteries hold up. If not on shore power and the inverter is turned off your outlets should be off. Herman
  20. BluKat, We all understand what you would like but I'm not sure anyone would keep spare hydraulic hoses just in case they might need one in the future. Fuel filters and fan belts yes but hydraulic hoses, no. Sorry but you just may have to take the hose off and have one made. You could have two made and then you have have a spare.() Herman
  21. Ronderer, Welcome to the Forum. I sent you an PM (Personal Message) with the information you requested. Herman

  23. Please don't forget, if you are blocking up the rear you need pads under both of your rear wheels not just one on each side. Herman
  24. I was assured by the IT Department that all members of the Forum that were not FMCA Members (no F number) were blocked from participating on the Forum. They can look and read but can not participate. Now the really good thing is, those that want to participate my join FMCA (our gain) and the Spammer wont spend the money (also our gain). Herman
  25. Thanks for the replies.👍 Sun, that is one that I would definitely take pictures of if I had to replace any one of the four belt. Herman
