  3. Dave, Welcome to the Forum. Since the local DMV is confused I would contact your State Representative. You may not get him or her in person but one of their staff will get you the answer. Be sure and get the answer in writing. Hope you find the correct answer. It's been over 60 years since I had a vehicle inspected in New Jersey. Herman
  4. Thanks for the update, it will help people that may have your same issue. Again thanks, Herman
  5. You might call Newmar and ask for the Cabinet Shop. Maybe one of the fine Amish craftsmen can help you. Herman
  6. Wayne, "SIZE of COCONUTS" is all I can say. Herman
  7. I put a gallon of undulated coolant then one gallon of distilled water in the radiator. Repeat until full. Run the engine till it get warm then stop the engine let it cool a bit and then carefully remove the cap. Let it sit for a short period then add more coolant or distilled water as necessary. This is to prevent air in the system. Be sure and use ELC (extended life coolant). Herman
  8. Google "Changing coolant in a cummins 330 diesel engine". It will bring up several videos on the subject. Herman
  9. Gregory, Welcome to the Forum. A problem that you may have is the Battery in the rental RV. To run all you have described you may need to purchase a charger for the battery to keep the power reserve up the be able to run what you described. It shouldn't be an issue when hooked to shore power. But dry camping will be another issue where you don't have a place to plug in the charger. Are you sure the unit you will be renting doesn't have an inverter? Herman
  10. Andrew, Welcome to the Forum. There are a number of locations to look for motorhomes. Try these two. Motorhomes of Texas motorhomesof texas.com PPL pplmotorhomes.com They ae both upstanding companies but are both in Texas. Again Welcome Herman
  11. Carl, it was not greed. By having members only access to the Forum it dropped those that did not have an F #. As you can understand she did not have an F# so she was dropped. Hers was an unusual case and will be corrected. I have reached out to the IT Department and they are working on it for her. I will PM you when it is resolved. Herman
  12. Sorry but we can't pick and choose. It will be for FMCA Members only. They will be able to view but will need to join FMCA if they want to participate in the Forum. Herman
  13. Unfortunately if a member stops paying their dues they lose all the benefits. However they may still be a member by continuing to pay their due after they no longer have an RV. They just become an associate member with all the benefits except being able to hold office or vote. Many folks will continue to pay their dues so they can keep Assist. Herman
  14. Please read "Forum Rules (Read Only). There you will find find the announcement about the Forum. Herman
  15. I have been working with FMCA President Jon Walker and FMCA CEO Chris Smith about the issue of Troll, Spammer and Hacker on the Forum. President Walker went to the Executive Board and it was agreed that the Forum would be opened to FMCA Members only. The IT Department is going to make the changes and they should be done by Monday of next week April 12th. Thank you Jon, Chris and the Executive Board. Herman Mullins FMCA Monitor

  17. Ok folks let's get on topic "Tire Pressure vs temp?" Thanks, Herman
  18. Air chuck, Impact Wrench, Sander, Blow Gun, the list goes on and they all must connect to an air hose by a quick disconnect either Industrial or Automotive. Herman
  19. There are two types of Air Chucks that are used on most hoses used in the auto industry. There is the Industrial which is the more common and there is the Automotive which is the less common. My Monaco has a Automotive chuck for my air connection in my bay, but I have an Industrial for the air chuck (same on all my air tools). That being said I have made adaptors for Automotive to Industrial and visa versa. Hope I made sense. Herman

  24. psmethurst, Welcome to the Forum. If you can see where the tank is leaking you might be able to have it welded. I am sure that it can be a DYI project however if the tank would be needed to be replaced, I would have a dealer do it. My reason is you will have to pay a dealer for the Labor and parts and should there be something wrong with either parts or workman ship the dealer is responsible for doing it over. With the quality of parts now a days I would like it covered. Hope you are able to get it repaired or replaced Again Welcome, Herman
