  1. You should have an 120 vac receptacle in the engine compartment. It is for the "engine heater" or "block heater". That is where your male plug plugs into. When you are plugged into shore power the receptacle is hot when the block heater switch is on. In your case I am not sure which is for the block heater from shore power or from the circulation pump from the Aqua Hot which when the AQ is on will send hot coolant through the engine to preheat the engine. By not seeing how yours is set up it is hard to tell. (I am assuming since when you turn on the "engine heater" it start to draw power that is the switch for the block heater) Herman
  2. If you will go to fmca.com and login it will open the FMCA website. At the upper left side there is "Membership". Click on it and select "Dashboard". That opens up to every thing. There is a Tool Bar across the top of the page and more selections all the way at the bottom of the page. Can't get any simpler that that. Hope this helps. Herman
  3. Been in worse conditions then this before but didn't expect it here. Back in 1958, I, along with about 150 other man were snowed in at the hanger for 10 days (in Newfoundland). The one thing everyone ran to when we got back to the barracks were the showers. At least this time we have clean clothes and working showers. (OMG I just realized that that was 63 years ago) Herman
  4. I remember Choke Canyon Lake. Fished there for several days. I should have known that any Lake the Advertises their Catfish Tournament would not be a top notch lake for large mouth bass. However they have enough alligators for 10 lakes. They were everywhere. Herman
  5. How about the Weather we are having. Here in North Texas it's 7 degrees and even as for down south in Harlingen it's only 27 and those seem to be the highs for today. But we are warm, have power and have lots of Hogan's Hero's recorded. Oh yea and Hot Chocolate too. Herman
  6. Have you checked the circuit breaker at the pedestal? Herman
  7. The next Lone Star Rally is in Marble Falls at Sunset Point April 15-17. There have been limited spaces assigned so if you would like to go you might call Sunset Point and make a reservation now. (830-798-8199) Herman
  8. For all that may have been going to the Lone Star Rally at Coffee Creek RV Park in Santo, Texas, I am sorry to say it has been cancelled due to the weather condition expected next week. The temps and snow are predicted to be very bad. Herman
  9. Look at the tires on the trailer. Do you think that bouncing might loosen the straps? Hmmm. Herman
  10. Like Ian asked, have you load tested the Batteries? Herman
  11. Let's get back on Topic, finding a part for the OP Osasis awning. Herman

  16. It couldn't have been one of Carl's RVs it doesn't have a raised ridge running the length of the coach. 6 foot 7 inches you know. We love you big guy. Herman
  17. tommy789, Welcome to the Forum. Are you a member of FMCA? Herman
  18. Isn't it great you have the Forum to help with the boredom of cabin fever. You can always converse with Carl and others. Herman
  19. Ford was real invented back in the 50's. In 52-3-4 the most they changed was the Grill, Tail lights and Door handles. The body panel were all interchangeable. I can't remember did Ford bring out the overhead valve engine in 54? I know in 55 they had the ohv engine and that was the year they went to the 12 volt system. Herman
  20. When we were in Hutchinson a few months ago there was a group of Big Rigs there. They were all Volvos, Peterbuilts, Freight Liner and others. They were all pulling big and I mean BIG 5th wheels. They had some really nice looking rigs. Some were members of FMCA and some weren't. That is why they were not interested in coming into FMCA as a chapter. Herman
  21. I have had to go out the window only one time. Thank goodness it wasn't an emergency. Our dead bolt had stuck. I was able to go out the bedroom window. As Richard said feet first. I got out until my belly came to the ledge then as I got it over the ledge I was on my but on the ground. I wasn't hurt (but I was 12 years younger). Incase I had to do it in an emergency I would have the wife go out first with my help then follow myself. Nothing is more important than my wife's safety. Herman
  22. You can pull triple as long as you do not exceed the length limit. In Texas it is 65 feet total. Herman
  23. Citationjet100 and TheAlphaMan#1906, Welcome to the Forum to both of you. Have you tried running a jumper from a power source to see if the radio works that way.? Do you have a fuse panel outside on the driver side right in front of the front wheel? Most diesel coaches have a panel there and the radio fuse may be there. Good luck and again Welcome to you both. Herman
  24. Steve, Welcome to the Forum. I have a listing of all the Campgrounds that are on FMCA's list. It is listed by state and each state's cities are in alphabetical order. I am sending it to you in a PM. Again Welcome, Herman
