  1. Please add your motorhome to your signature as without knowing what you have I can't give good advice. Moving the mounting points only works on the F-53 that has the 2 different points. Inspect your bushings and if worn replace with polypropylene ones as they are firmer. Bill
  2. Kind of telling isn't it. Glad I went to residential. Bill
  3. Good luck and safe travels. If you put your coach and outher info in your signature it will help you to get better answers later. Where are you and where are you headed? Bill
  4. Do you have shore power where you are? Have you tried to start generator by holding the battery connect switch down. Can you start the main engine and run the slide or start generator? Bill
  5. One thing to check is to make sure the filters are clean. If they are dirty they will create a low pressure and the water can't go out the drain. You end up with water dripping inside. Also make sure you have the fan on hi. Bill
  6. The new place doesn't have a drive through beer window. I looked on Google Earth and didn't see one porta potty. You are right Carl, that place is spendy! More like a north east campground, and all back in. Bill
  7. I would keep looking. I would look at your current AC and see what BTU it is. Some coaches came with smaller BTU AC units. I think the biggest roof air is a 15,000 BTU unit. Bill
  8. Best selection of beer in town. and they have nice vintage porta potties for your convenience. I would be shure to write it up in RV Park Reviews. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum. If your daytime running lights are on your key is not in the right position. Bill
  10. My point is if they can't attract significant numbers of "C" owners who tend to be younger. How are they going to attract owners of pull behinds? The "B" class coaches tend to be more expensive and more likely owned by people downsizing. But there again they arn't doing a good job of attracting them. Bill
  11. I doubt this is a significant number when compared to the total number on the road. I still don't see that many Class "C" or "B" coaches at events. In Chandler I don't recall seeing any class C coaches and only a few B coaches. Some one has the numbers. Management needs to stop making excuses and start getting the job done. Bill
  12. Yes either find something that will tow more or find something lighter to tow. Sometimes you have to make compromises. Bill
  13. The next time it does this try this. turn the thermostat off now pull the front off the thermostat. Inside is a fuse. Remove the fuse (it wouldn't hurt to clean the contact surfaces) after a couple of minutes reinstall the fuse and see if that helps. If that doesn't help I would look at the 12V power supply. Bill
  14. I already got it in and replaced. But thanks for thinking of me. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. The big question is how much work/ maintenance can you do and how much will you need to have done. Personally I think this "Diesels are so expensive to maintain" is over hyped. Yes you have a couple more things to maintain but it isn't all that bad unless you have to take it some place and pay them $150.00 an hour. I think you are headed in the right direction as you can find some great used coaches out there. Bill
  16. When I setup my (new then) CR-V I ran a separate wiring harness for the lights. I had them install led lights so I was not in the stock wiring system. I had concerns about warranty issues. This way I was not tied into any part of the system. Look at the Blue Ox web site. Bill
  17. Welcome to the forum. I agree with Britt and Herman the first place I would check is the drive shaft. I would do this as soon as possible and limit any driving. Replacing bearings is cheaper than replacing the driveshaft. Bill
  18. New project completed. I broke the door handle on my Splendide washer/dryer. Well checked Camping World they quoted me a price of $173.00 for a little plastic handle. Excuse me it is an Assembly. Well went down to PPL and they could get one for $72.49 better but still stupid expensive. I decided to try calling Splendide and see what they could do. Ended up $50.00 shipped. Still stupid expensive for what it is but they have you. If you don't buy it your $1000+ washer is junk. Just wanted to give people a heads up to shop around. To be fair to Camping World I think they gave me the price for the wrong part. But still. Bill
  19. Is that why I can't get to 90? Bill
  20. I am with you Keon, I don't see any tow behinds trying to beat down the doors at FMCA trying to get in. I think if it passes you won't see any change. This could be some kind of a scheme to justify raising dues significantly. "well we did everything we could, even let towables into our hallowed halls." Bill
  21. We always do well at FMCA functions. I think they picked up 8 new members/coaches at 6 state. I am talking about when we are someplace outher than a FMCA function. The 8th to 11th of June they will be at The Choctaw KOA and I bet they recruit a couple new members from the people camped there. All you have to do is say HI. This is not being promoted effectively by FMCA as the parent organization. Bill
