  1. Nice coach. Apparently they have tweaked the forum again. It should be in my signature 38N Bounder. It is handy to add your coach and other info to your signature. If that feature is working all the time. Bill
  2. Welcome to the forum. When calculating travel in the coach I use 50 mph as a guide to planning trips. Depending on where you are going that would be about 22 hours driving. That isn't counting breaks for fuell, stretch or lunch breaks. Let us know how it works out not having reservations. I like having reservations so I know I have a place to stay and don't need to be searching for some place instead of enjoying happy hour. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. Yes 6-7 years is the accepted time frame to change out tires. Look on the sidewall there is 4 digit code telling what week and year they were made. Most will never wear out a set of tires they age out first. I would look at the date codes on the new tires, I wouldn't accept anything over 6 months old. Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. How many miles have you driven this coach? Have you had an all wheel alignment done? Have you adjusted the tire pressure based on weight? You Probably don't need swaybar bushings, but the stiffer polyurethane ones may help. How much experience do you have driving big coaches? Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. Have you talked to the installer? Bill
  6. Check the seals on the doors as it could be letting rain water in. I would get everything out of the bay and set a fan to blow through and dry it out. Bill
  7. My next step would be to hook up a meter to the motor and see what it does draw especially right at the end/full out. One outher thought is you may need a "slow blow" 20 amp fuse on the relay. Bill
  8. So what is your point. 80% of the people who have Motorized A B C class RV's started with a towable. The majority were working and only had 2 weeks vacation. So what has changed? Bill
  9. Wayne, Can you adjust the sensitivity of the system? Bill
  10. That sounds like max sidewall preshure. What is the listed preshure on the sidewall? Bill
  11. I can look but my bank says no. Have you seen a new Newell or a new Foretravel? Bill
  12. You are absolutely right. Good catch by the way on the recommendations on the campground website. I will try it out maybe next year when we go West. Are you talking about taking US-30 all the way to I-15? Looks interesting. Bill
  13. To bad they acted like that. I hope you posted this in RV Park Reviews. So outher people can be warned about them. http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ By the way welcome to the forum. Bill
  14. obedb, I went and looked at 31 on google earth and it does look like it might be a easier route. I hope Bounder04 will drive both of them and let us know. Who would have thought a few years ago I would be able to say, yes I have been there last year two to places as far apart as Buffalo NY and Victor Yo. in the same year and not a trucker. Bounder04, you might want to use Google Earth and look at both routes 22 does have some 10% grades but is the shorter run. 31 does look a little easier it is hard to tell just looking on Google. I would be inclined to try it. The locals usually know the easier routes. Bill
  15. You could go I-90 to Cleveland and take I-77 south to Columbia then I-26 to I-95 and head South. That will by pass Cincinnati and Atlanta. Bill
  16. Not much difference in driving out west. Down shift and keep your revs up and take your time when you start down stay in the same gear you climbed up in for the additional braking. 22 out of jackson would be the way I would go. Bill
  17. I would listen to what Herman told you. Way less trouble than messing with a light bar. Bill
  18. Sorry to hear about your problem. I think you can find pictures of your engine by going to Cummins Quickserve. It is the same reference your dealer uses to look up parts. https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html Bill
  19. That is a great idea. On smaller gaps I have heard of people using stainless steel wool. Bill
  20. In re reading this thread I had the thought, Have you checked to see if you have water to the pump? Does it pump water? I hate to bring it up but the pump may be bad The motor can run but the pump part may be bad. Bill
  21. I had the plywood as scrap after anouther project so it wasn't a added expense. I also saved money using my Kroger points and bought 35 gal diesel for $0.989 yesterday. That way I could afford the glue. Bill
  22. Well yes they do came directly from Goodyear and Toyo websites. However as Brett said You have to read and understand what is being said. You don't get to cut and paste the part that out of context furthers your premise. That being said, have you weighed your coach, all wheel positions including tag if you have them? What is the GAWR for your front and rear axles? If you haven't you should run the "max" pressure listed on the sidewall of the tire. That is hoping you have the right weight/load range tires on your coach. Bill
  23. Welcome to the forum. Bill
