  1. Well I found it the power button was hidden behind the DVR on the bottom shelf over the steering wheel. I thought the DVR was bolted down but it just has Velcro on the feet. I got a little more forceful and got it out of the way. The antenna power booster button was totally hidden behind the DVR. Thanks for all the help and suggestions on where to look. Bill
  2. Well I have found the water separator drain it is on the bottom of the fuel filter. I still haven’t found the power button for the Wingard antenna. Thanks for the replies I will let you know if and when I figure this out. Bill
  3. I am having fun getting familiar with my new toy (2003 Bounder 38N). I do have a couple of questions: I haven’t been able to find the antenna booster. I don’t have the shop manual. I also can’t seem to find the water separator drain on the fuel system. I hope some one who has a similar unit can fill me in. Thanks Bill
  4. I use Mobil -1 0-20 in my new Honda and I bet it would work great in your V-10. You can go to Mobil1 website for oil and filter recomendations. I am in Fort Worth and it has ben over 110 at times hear and I have no fear of my oil breaking down. Bill
  5. I have been having fun getting to know my new to me 2003 Bounder 38 ft diesel pusher. I noticed it had a FMCA number on it. I am wondering if the last owner uses the forums the number is FMCA 368494. I think it would be fun to talk to them. Bill
  6. Sam, When it runs on 2 different fuel supplies it is not out of fuel. Planocat, You are right. I was thinking it might be an over temp sensor as it was 105 that day. Well they called and told me they had to replace the radiator and it cost them $600.00. Well glad the shop made their money off them not me. I am going to go tomorrow and try to get this deal done. Thanks for all the help and comments. Bill

  9. New to this forum and thought you might like to read about my little adventure. Well I had an interesting afternoon. Saturday I went to do my final walk through and test drive on my new to me 2003 bounder 38U diesel pusher. They had it plugged into shore power when we got there. It was nice and cool inside and about 104 out side. This let us check all the systems. I was impressed with how much ice the freezer had made in a fairly short time. Everything was going just fine. We finished the outside and disconnected the shore power and started the gen to get ready for a test drive. We were waiting for a tech to put on the plates and do a minor maintenance item (the awning over the door was not moving smoothly and trying to hang up. The tech that was helping was spraying some lube on the pivot points). Well while we were setting in the nice cool coach the generator quit. Tried to restart but it ran about 5 min and quit. Tried this a couple of times. Tried checking the oil level, fuel was at ½ tank. The tech tried changing the fuel filter. Then they tried hooking up a different fuel source no luck. Interesting as we had run the generator earlier in the week when we were talking to the salesman for problem 45 min to one hour. Worked great. They are taking it to have it fixed Monday, as they don’t have any one who knows how to work on diesel generators. Well the good news is it quit in their lot before I singed the papers not on the road some place lol. Bill
