Herman, that's because it is on Ford Trans Connect Frame, when I was looking at those last year, it was the same frame as an Escape, maybe better if a VW bug.

Only problem is the Brownie Hawkeye is not digital and will not be as easy as a digital camera, maybe. The Polaroid is even more problematic than a Hawkeye. It's instant, or maybe 90 seconds later.

Carl, I guess that we will have to start singing, "All my X's live in Texas, thats why I live in (Tennessee)".

Installing Ground Effects Surround Exterior LEDs

I ordered the aluminum channel online and used I/8 aluminum rivets, had to use a very narrow head rivet tool. In your case, the diffuser may not be necessary since they are pointer downward. My experience is that the led's last longer without the diffuser, but a short piece of it every 12 or so inches just in case the adhesive does come loose, in most cases it want but sometimes there is unwanted spills on the road that might make it happen. Carl, there was no aluminum when I started either, but there is a metal band that was added by the factory just above the stainless steel sides and the aluminum side panels below the windows, this is where the channel is attached, looks like came from the factory that way, but it didn't. -
I had an amateur radio friend several years ago that was a professional cleaner after fires and chemical spills. He advised me back then that the best way to get rid of those type odors was to rip out carpet and discard, clean the wood underneath with a good detergent and water and alcohol mixture. then use cheap pva paint on top of the wood. Now put new underpad and carpet down. As for the bedding you may be able to lift out the diesel with the same solution as above with a scrubber that will lift the solution back out of the bedding. Sure hope you find something that works for you.

Not the same as what as what you are doing, I used amber led strips down both sides of the coach. I used two 16 foot strips per side and joined them together with solder joints, they are mounted inside aluminum channel half inch inside dimension, then covered with opaque white plastic cover. I used the 12 volt house wiring and installed two toggle switches just inside the door, no remote. I used amber so not to attract bugs, plus if I forget to turn them off, they are legal on the highways. -
You might want to look into a swivel wheel trailer. http://smarttrailers.com/ Easy to park and tow. Here is also a video of front mounted motorbike rack. Welcome to the forum.

I did receive my e-mail from Verizon and here is a copy of the e-mail. Congratulations! The wireless account associated with your mobile telephone number has been registered for a discount program. Discounts apply to the monthly access fee on eligible plans and features (restrictions apply to prepaid, already discounted or promotional plans). Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for any discount updates to appear on your monthly bill. If you have any questions, please call 1.800.890.8007 -
In or near what city in northern Alabama will be location for you to store the RV? Northern Alabama covers quite a few cities, I travel the state pretty often, and will be glad to help find a location. Also you stated a storage facility or campground, which of the two do you prefer? Sorry I didn't notice the date of the original post. Kay

Most jeep's in the wrangler family can be equipped to tow without a base plate, as I said most, we don't know what year model you are talking about, but if it can be towed without a base plate, there should not be any problem with even using any Blue Ox equipment permanently attached to the jeep, and if not there should be no concern about damaging the BO equipment. Bill, I think that he is referring to trailering the jeep " 4 off tow".

Pure Sine Wave vs Modified Sine & Refrigerators

1500 is plenty sufficient with a Samsung, it is very low amp draw, just need to watch other appliances to make sure that you don't call on too many at the same time. I'm not trying to sell Samsung, there are many others, LG makes a great fridge, but will not run on MSW. If it were me actually going to make replacements, I would replace the 1500 MSW with a 2000 (or larger) PSW, only real rewiring that will need is to enlarge the wire from batteries to the inverter.- 53 replies

Well I have been seeing Chrysler Pacifica's for well over a decade now, but I looked at a 2017 model lately, and that is a beautiful van.

Check Out Our New Verizon MIFI Benefit!
kaypsmith replied to larrypennington's topic in Membership/Benefits
I already have the socalled Unlimited plan with Verizon, it is 22 gig now, I have upgraded to the FMCA 25 Unlimited plan, so far my usage details are still saying 22 gig. The plan that I had/have when I first signed up it was two months before I started getting the throttled messages then all of a sudden, my speed dropped to 70 kbs with a message that I had exceeded my 10 gig limit and had been throttled until my next billing cycle. I called Verizon and complained that the plan called for 22 gig before being throttled, they told me that I was only allowed 10 gig per hotspot, so I cringed and held my breath fo0r 14 days at 70 kbs on the only (1) hotspot that I have, believe me at 70 kbs you would be thankful to have the old dialup back. About two months later the 10 gig per hotspot was increased to the current 15, but the 15 limit gets here before I know it. I will now await the 15 gig to see if throttling is going to be applied to the new to me FMCA plan. Fingers crossed. Also the gotcha part of getting the .01 hotspot is limited to NEW SUBSCRIBERS, because you are probably under contract for the previous one. I just things will work towards being under the FMCA plan, it is $15.00 per month less than I was paying for 22 gig socalled unlimited. With all that said, THANKS FMCA for negotiating me a better deal. -

I have tried on numerous occasions to sign up for the plan. Have had several times to apply, and in the past have only gotten nowhere but an endless loop telling me to check my e-mail. Nothing has happened untill today, when I tried about 20 minutes ago, it actually took me to my Verizon account and things look as if I had actually signed up. I then opened an e-mail from Verizon and shocked!!!!!!!, I had this reply Congratulations! Well I have now learned why my dad lived such a short life (74 years young), he produced the active ingredient (naptha), in moth balls for forty years, while working in a coke by product plant here in Alabama. I'm now 73, so I will discontinue use of moth balls, before it's too late. Thank you so much EPA.

Pure Sine Wave vs Modified Sine & Refrigerators
kaypsmith replied to sundancev's topic in Electrical
If you are speaking in terms of the DC to the inverter, as Brett suggested is best. If you are speaking in terms of AC away from the inverters, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Never try to mix any two AC sources without the proper routers to do so, and never try to mix MSW with PSW, there are no routers available to do this. Also, if the refrigerator is rated at 4 amps maximum draw, that's 500 watts, I would not recommend only 500 watts, I would recommend 750 to 800 watts for a longer life expectancy of the inverter, when you near the maximum output of an inverter, you shorten the life of that appliance due to excessive heat for the rating of the inverter.- 53 replies

Connect On The Go - Round 2

Where do you get unthrottled unlimited mobile service? I have looked for a long time, and haven't yet discovered one that is truly both. -
We have a battery shop located near where I live. They buy batteries that have gone over their 6 month shelf life then replaced by the battery dealer. The desulfation process is the only thing that they do to the battery. They then sell to the public at up to 75% savings, have been using them for years and get as good or better life than when bought at the store prices. Yes the process does work.

Connect On The Go - Round 2

Been there and done that with Verizon also. I was even told by Verizon that they didn't want me as a customer after complaining that there was no mention of 10 gig limitation per hotspot, now when trying to just apply for another subscription through FMCA, the portal just goes blank everytime I try to go that route after I have subscribed to get notifications from Verizon. I don't think that the problem is with FMCA but with Verizon, I love their coverage, but their unethical practices. If you are not already a Verizon customer, I suspect that the new benefit will work flawlessly. I believe that Verizon is hoping for new customers through FMCA, not Verizon customers being able to take advantage of a better deal than they already have. At this point I really don't want to change my already existing Verizon mifi subscription, just add a new account with Verizon for full benefits of the new FMCA plan. -

smithy, is the plan for 25 gig per hotspot, or is it like the verizonU that was throttled after 10 gig and has been used been now upgraded to 15. I have Verizon now but would like to add the FMCA plan if I can be assured that the per hotspot clause is not there. -
A0t300 is not a solenoid, it is a fuse, how do I know, has one large wire in, one large out, no trigger (small) wire to activate a solenoid, plus I enlarged the picture enough to read the writing on the device. Wire with green flap not important, as it will not work either if the solenoid is not working. The test that I described is very simple and should always be the starting point to troubleshoot a non working solenoid or fuse. I always start at the source then work my way out.

The thing a ma bob at top of the photo with two large post appears to be Ferraz Shawmut high amp fuse. It is after the solenoid, that is the one on the bottom with 4 large wires and 3 small white wires attached. Turn on the salesman switch then use your meter, set to DC volts, now hold the black lead to the ground post on the battery, and the red lead to the large lug with only one large wire, if the battery bank is good, you should read 12+ volts. Now move the red lead to the large lug with 3 wires attached, if you still read 12+ volts, the solenoid is good, if no reading, jump the positive post of your battery to the small nut holding 2 wires, if you read 12+ volts now on the large lug with 3 wires, if you can now read 12+ volts there, the solenoid is good and you will need to trace to the salesman switch. If you read 12+ volts on the first part of the test where you touched to the large post with 3 wires, then check the other end of the large Red wire at the post where it is attached, if 12+ volts there then move the lead over to the other large post and check for voltage, if no voltage then that fuse is blown. This type of fuse will blow if there has been any arching in the 12 volt system, yours appears to be a 300 amp. Good luck with testing, all of these test is only 12 volts so that is relatively safe, just don't be standing a puddle of water, if you do, you may feel a slight tingle if you touch a bare spot.

Mike, I tried to PM you, but the system will not allow that to happen. click on my avatar and try to send me one. Kay Also if the fridge is a standard camper fridge, it will not work without 12 volts to the control board, needs this for lp and 110 volts.
