DPDT On-On Six terminals. This is how I'm understanding the switch you mention works. You feed battery power to both middle terminals and the load to L1 through L4 as needed. Feed B+ at 2 and 5. Park and dash lights at 4 and 6. Headlights at 3. You first need to find which is positive power and what the other wires feed by applying power to them one at a time.

You say the wiring looks very suspect to you. Do you see any burnt marks on the connectors or wiring there? The reason why I ask is many models during the year of your coach is that the switch carried the load of headlights right through it. It is very common for both the switch and wire terminal block to burn up. The fix for that is a new switch and terminal block pigtail.

I believe Frank may be right about that but a sure way to test is to unplug from shore power and plug in a 120v lamp. If not try pressing the inverter button in the hall on the control panel and see if that works. You should also see the control panel of your microwave come on at the same time. -

I believe on one conversion I read that that person swap the wiring for inverter from front outlet to fridge wiring. I believe it was a Monaco coach. Otherwise you will have to add an inverter. I see if I can find it. -

I tow a 2006 Jeep Liberty with no problem. What tow bar setup do you have? I use Roadmaster Falcon all terrain quick release and the Roadmaster brackets on the Jeep. -

The basement heater got a good testing last night and today as temperature stayed in the low 20 F. I caught it running giving out heat and later cycle off and on. I need it to work so we can make it over the passes in at the end of December. I haven't installed the Camping World heater yet as I can't decide where I want to run the wiring from. Now it's too cold for me to get on it.

We already will be at a nice RV resort just 30 minutes away at Desert Hot Springs area. It won't make sense for me to move my coach and dry camp but I may like to attend a couple seminars and kick a couple of tires. What would it cost to stop by in my toad? -

tetonchef, Where I'm going this winter there are many snowbirds that is going to be there. As there are 4G lte there as well as concentrated users in one area in the thousands. That will overload the towers as I already been warned. I hate to set up an hot spot with it's high cost only to be disappointed.

rwilli I believe what is best in the future is above for all cars. If there is a sideswipe of motorhome and car it is the driver of the motorhome responsibility to avoid the accident. Wayne I'm glad that the GoPro works for you but I expect more than the GoPro provide and look for the future when 4 point drive cam become standard. -

I replace the front 26 inch wide flat analog and rear 19 inch tube in bedroom. I replace them with a 40 inch smart in the front and 32 inch in the rear. I used angle iron to mount solid and flat and Velcro to keep from rattling where it touches the cabinets. I did this before summer end and works great even on antenna. The WiFi works great on them but I haven't tried them at a campground yet. If it does have a good connection at the campground that's not so limited we can watch Netflix on them. I have a repeat router with power antenna to get better WIFI connection. I hate the low grade cables that the campgrounds provide because resolution is very poor. I know I'm spoiled.

My wife was complaining about diesel smell and dirt getting in the drawers of rear cabinet. I removed the cabinet and was shocked of why. The coach builder felt that thin carpet was a great filler for a 1/2 inch gap across the back wall. Then they hid the gap behind a cabinet. I fixed it and here are the pictures.

Cabinet is screwed back to the wall with the repair in place. You can notice caulk line to both side of the cabinet but it is better than an air leak. If you look over to the right there is a couple of ink spots on the carpet. Those ink spots won't come out and was left by previous owner.© ray huffman

I had to make two passes of caulk allowing it to dry 24 hours between. Notice that I did all the way across with the caulk as well as the caulk backing.© ray huffman

Since there is an 1/2 inch gap there must be a filler and backing before the caulk. This is a 1/2 inch rubber backing made for this purpose. I did this all the way across the bottom of the floor and down the side of step area.© ray huffman
