  1. Yep. Mike the OP may not have your system...then what do you do? Did your Damond operate that way, probably not. As FIVE and so many others said. The whole issue is the coach, nothing else!
  2. Yea. Minimum speed limits on most/if not all Interstates is 45 mph! Tell that to the PR farmer in Florida, they'll come on I-75, cross over to left lane and do a crawl..
  3. JC, Welcome! It would also help to know if you have a Air & Jack leveling system or Air only or Jack only and Brand name! Mine is Air or Jack, Power Gear Valid by Lippert. I have found that there is no, generic placement for air dump solenoid, it's located where ever the coach builder wants it, so as Brett said !
  4. Jim, most are good experiences, with any Roadside Assist carriers! Problem is, we only hear about the few bad ones...so, thank you for posting a feel good experience!
  5. Deen. They all (Monaco) produced new coaches, after BK, until they ran out of chassis...without warranty. 2007-10 on CC, 2009 on Beaver, 2008 Holiday Rambler, not sure about Safari but suspect 2007. Most makes & model's was bought by Navistar, who sold to Allied and it's still owned by Allied who turned the Motorhome division over to REV Group, who today also have Renegade, Fleetwood & American Coach (div of Fleetwood). Tiffin and Winnebago, did not file for Bankruptcy! CC, Beaver & Safari, was not resurrected, by Navistar or Allied.
  6. I'll ask Linda if mine are on! I would prefer a blinking rear light. On steep long grades up/down I put on my emergency lights!
  7. Here in Gladewater, Texas, it's 42, tomorrow 32 low/57, then rest of week it's 32 to 37 low & 52 to 67 high! To darn cold for me!!!
  8. Cummings 425, I'll do as Brett recommend. Ray, mine does not sound bad, Linda has been behind me and knows when it's on, say's not like the sound a 18 wheeler makes.
  9. OK, I'm so confused. One switch say's on/off (M) the other say's Low/High (M), does that mean I have "compression brake?"
  10. Got the T-Shirt for the Dragons Tail..318 curves in 11 miles! Did it twice both ways, by MC & Jeep. It used to not have a guard rail...now it does! Now it's also, one way up/one way down on alternate days...almost tame now!
  11. Mike, does the engine alternator charge both your start & house batteries? How many amps does the alternator put out? Other thought is, did you turn on you inverter on the Magnum panel? If the house batteries are not charging, your fridge is not happy! You'll also get the same sound from fridge if the doors are not shut tightly.
  12. One lever says exhaust break hi/lo...the other says engine break. 2 separate rocker switches.
  13. My DISH used to do that, 2014 & 15. PIA! Now we have Direct. Linda turned hers on at the house, first time in a year, went thru the above and took about 30 minutes, for download, self check, etc.
  14. The year after, Insurance bill will go thru the roof ! All he had to do (I've done it many times) was get in wrong way, before making turn & also as Kay said.
  15. I have exchaust high/low break and engine break...used both in Quebec Providence, we had one 3 mile downhill at 27 degrees! Linda took a picture of the sign.
  16. Linda LOVES Prime Ribs! I don't, so I get Filet ! Joe, traditional Thanksgiving fare, was mainly Sea Food...that's why we decided on a slab of Salmon, Scallops (hockey puck size) and Lobster!
  17. Rich & Mitzi. Herman has a child in Cheyenne, Wy. Due to our involvement in FMCA over the years and family scattered. Our work in the past, you'll find few on this Forum that don't know the Lower 48, Canada, Alaska & Hawaii. As you said, "Not our first Rodeo!" If you list your make, model, year & length of coach under your name, we can help much better in the future! Carl
  18. Bill, yes! 🤬 We where looking forward o to seeing Joe & DW again. What's in Lincoln, NB? Cows & Corn!
  19. Jerry. Welcome! Are you looking for now? Or Spring, Summer? Short or Long Term? My overall length of coach & toad is 64 feet, I've had good luck in the past thru, State, area & Good Sam Rating. The term RV Park & RV Resort, has different meaning in different parts of the country! Just like "Big Rig".
  20. Like the Mailman said....we both have the same system & it works for us!!!
  21. The FMCA National Rally for Summer of 2020, has been moved to the Lancaster County Fairground in Lincoln, Nebraska! I don't have any dates yet.
  22. Joe, perhaps the Traeger in the coach is not built for a "Rolling Earthquake"! Weber in coach & at home...also a SS smoker (no it does not take pellets), the old fashion way, by Pit & Spits! Wayne, your right on the steaks! Bill, your a sick puppy! Coon, squirrel, nutria and possum should always be smothered in gravy (cast iron pot), with onions and potato!
  23. Joe, our Turkey & Ham was smoked with Pecan wood...not overpowering, just plain good. Don't know what wood was used for the Deer, it too was mild. We like Pecan & it's free! Mother nature is the provider, we have 5 Pecan Trees.
