Herman, Earlene did 12+ months...no retirement on that, that I know off, other than 100% disability from combat. She got out, when I got in USAF 1961.

Rv w/toad trip from Ohio to National Parks in Utah, Wyoming etc
manholt replied to beaver42's question in Destinations/Attractions
You did not say where in OH. But Columbus, Yellowstone, Columbus = 3,500 miles...15 days for all you want to do, good luck! In a coach, your more restricted than in a car, such as weather, road construction, speed that you can safely travel...time of year has a lot to do with Campgrounds & Traffic, in and around the Parks! IMHO, I would need 30 days to be on safe side! Every Park your thinking about, is going to have several hundreds of thousand visitors a day, during peak season...some like Yellowstone will close down, without warning, due to maximum capacity! -
DD69. My Tyron on DS failed because I hit a crack on I-10 in Houston, Tx. My tire's air was not affected, but by the time (Sunday) I drove to Cummings, about 15 miles and parked. Tire was removed the next day (we did not know it was the Tyron that came apart, I thought it was bearing problem), the inside of tire was being shredded. Tyron is metal and very heavy! I will never trust anything like that again!!! There are tires made, that will never have a blow out...unfortunately the Military took control, we can not get them!

Wayne, you have to go back to pre-2006 Power gear Valid (mine), for it to reset per in/out..never used the 8" rule! I don't see it in my paper work (57 pages).
-
Joe S. Hope your not in for Winter! LOL
-
It's my understanding that Tyron is now a standard in new Prevosts and Newell...I wonder why not Rettroband?

Welcome back to the Forum! IMHO, if you can't or won't release the info of who, then the whole post is suspect. Yea! We could guess and probably get it right, but that's not the point...we post info good or bad, for the benefit of all. I'll get off my box now!

Mine are Pressure Pro, they came with the coach & are entered into my Silver leaf computer screen. Tried Tire Minders, but computer rejected them. I can't replace batteries myself, but I send them back & they return 8 new for $39.95...turn around was 5 days last time. Original + 2 sets in 9 years, not bad.

ruffis,, welcome back...you have had 9 years of reading this Forum! Did they put a Sea/Land toilet in? 20 amp fuse runs it and my last 2 coaches has the S&L..last coach was a Tiffin and it was wired to the start batteries by mistake!?! If you don't, then I think that Richard is on the right track! I would also check the new ATS, make sure there is no loose connections, not every shop use a torque driver!
-
Wayne, Dj. Well said. It's hard to argue against reality and logic! You will always have those that, no matter how much they spend on a RV, want freebies...look at Wall Mart parking lots!
-
Herman, Richard, WBill...Agree! The first time I heard of that, was in Indio, CA 1992, new Resort and my coach was a 1987 Barth...I spent 2 night's there. Mostly DP rigs and a lot of them was more than 10 years old. Last time I heard about the 10 year rule, was Lagoons RV Park in Rockport...They have since rescinded that.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4-door towable? 2019
manholt replied to mailman's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
CAMPFAR, welcome to the Forum! What are your tires rated at? 65 mph or 75 mph! What's your DOT#? My 315/80's (8) are rated at 75 mph! June,2020. Jimpet, your a long time member, welcome back! Just as a thought, my 2013 Jeep Wrangler, 2 door, Toad weight is, 4,470 lbs & I carry nothing in it. Yeah, it's on steroids! I have a 15,000 lb hitch, on a 45' American Coach. -
Probably another case off, "my agent and I hunt & fish together. We are great friends!" or "I have been with them for xx years!" False comfort zone...just saying. I believe the $610 is a typo $!610, should be $1610.

5 years? No annual? That's better than Montana!
-
Beaver, takes the TSD card, with a 10 cent roll back per gallon! Love's is a private company from OK...Beaver is a private company from Alvin, TX.
-
Nope! You?
-
Yup! As always. At $135 an hr...I'm glad I live in Texas! Most I've had to pay was $120 at a Graphics shop!

Ready Brute Elite Tow Bar by NSA Products
manholt replied to bjohnsonav8r's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Never heard of it...I use M&G, no gadgets involved. Nothing inside toad to restrict your foot while driving & nothing to disconnect, just air & electric from coach to toad.- 3 replies

Since you can't fill the tires at campground, leave with what you have & find a gas station with air hose...after or on the way to your next destination, get a portable air pump!
-
Dj, we are open to full FMCA membership, have been for 3 years now! All you & your friends got to do, is Goggle FMCA.com or call 1-800-543-3622! GET ON THE WAGON! Wayne, yes we all have 2 different driving styles! I don't like riding with Linda in car, but will fall asleep when she drives the coach!
-
Pop, did you look at DOT # on tires? Your coach is a 2017, your DOT # could easily be a 2015 or 16. I will assume you have IFS...as Joe said about mine & after having 8 new tires put on, I had alignment checked in Canada...caster was way off...now I drive a different coach ! 9,000+ miles since June!
-
Yikes, it will be in a heated bay for roof & same for paint...bad part for us would be to remove "Everything"! Like moving into a new coach..ugh.

Fleetwood = REV Group = Allied, Parent Company! Herman & Bill E...Agree!

Brett, can you post that CAC picture here? Or PM me?

True...I for one, hate to see the 5 year go. I do understand the reason behind it. I will Vote according to what the majority of the members, in the Chapter I represent want. Personally, I wish I had gotten my L#, 50 years ago...hate bill's! My FMCA Renewal date is 2023, I will get another 5 yrs, before the next GB meeting! I'm 76 now, so I figure I'll hang up the keys by the time I'm 85... Djsamuel, 59 is young to most of us on this Post. 4 years ago, FMCA wanted to bring in towables on the premise that it would increase membership, decrease age (72) off members and lower cost of benefits, like Assist...IMHO, it increased membership, but nothing else! I'm glad we opened it up to other RV's, times change and I now look at 5'ers and pull behinds in a totally new way!
