  1. Moisture in your tanks will do the same. Also as Rich said or a loose air line at the fitting.
  2. Surprisingly in the past 18 years, I have had no blow out. However, between 1967 and 2000, I had so many I lost count. Ray, unless you have had one, you have no idea...You can watch all the staged, professional driver, Videos you want & it will not be anywhere close to the real deal. As FIVE said, you got time to get onto shoulder...The only variable is life experience, that will dictate, how the driver reacts...calm or panic!
  3. The new prepaid works for Linda and I. 2 months now and no slow down at all. What difference does it make, if it's pre paid or not? You pre pay for insurance, coach, car etc.
  4. Hurricane, CAT 5, hit that area, not long ago...surprised that you didn't pick up more! I have towed a lot of cars, since 1985 and no damage so far! Guess it was your Lucky day! Murphy's Law: The more a toad cost, the more damage it will incur!

    New Newmar King Air

If I want a coach at close to a million, Newmar would be a distant 5th choice!
  6. 10 years old? Brett is into Sail Boats or a combo Sail/motor cruiser...great for Intracostal canal. I'm into 42 foot Cat. Also, coach!
  7. We are around 30 night and 50 day. Thursday the high is 66, rain and wind...same on Friday, then back to same as today...This is Global warming?
  8. That's what we call it here...maybe a local quarry where your at would know. It's light rust color, that turns light gray over time. I'm thinking it has lime/clay in it and the gravel is different sized...we use medium, for better traction.
  9. Eric, looks good now on paper and would like a picture of the completion. Hope you know that caliche when dry is ok, but when wet it's a nightmare! See if you can get Dirty D (that's what we call it in Burnet County) to place on top of caliche...a 9 yard truck, delivered and spread is $385 here...it sets up like cement and does not go gooey when it rains. We use it here at ranch for our roads, parking lots, 2 RV pads!
  10. Other than Remco or removing drive shaft, flat bed trailer & maybe a dolly, there is no other alternative!
  11. We did not have our phones with us. At the Market this morning, there was a (I think new) King Air with paper tag and it had 3 axles and 6 tires! The 2 in back looked to be 10"-12" wide and the front looked normal width!
  12. Got it. Not I. In Winter, one time...rest of year, every 2 to 3 months or 300+/- hours!
  13. Rich, the 2 of you live less than 400 miles apart.
  14. Kind of like the Ion-Lith batteries that are now available in some High End coaches and a lot of "green cars". Horrible for the environment and echo system....Oh well. Riding a bomb!
  15. Since your campground of choice is Wall Mart, you might as well buy what you need there...I would say, they frown on you, if you change your oil there! Cummins, Freightliner, MAC Mustang, DD center will do it for you...don't bring your WM stuff with you!
  16. Rich, interesting question. Joe L., should be able to answer that.
  17. Most ferry's require that you shut off the propane & engine, while in motion on the water. Distance has nothing to do with it. USA, can't speak for Canada!
  18. Jamie. As you said, if the seat rips loose, it don't matter. Is that the reason I only get a lap belt when I fly? 🤣
  19. Eric. I asked this morning, dropped my coach off, Dave Miller & Mike remember you!
  20. Watson. When were you last in WLA? Taking a coach in, is not an option, unless your willing to spend thousand's on special permits! The only RV park around, was outside Malibu and it burned last month! You are allowed on I-405, not Sepulveda or other roads...don't ask how I know!
  21. If I read this correct, bb is on constant bulk when generator is on. Even "new" batteries can have one battery with a dead cell, then the charger will over compensate by trying to maintain a constant charge. Remove the bad battery and replace with a good one and you will have Bulk, charge and float. As Brett, Kay, Rich and others have said, since you where in NC Fairgrounds...Have you had each battery load tested? If not, why? I got 2 chassis and 8 house batteries in Sep. 2016, each was load tested, before it went in coach! It's peace of mind. Took about 2 minutes to re-program from Acid to AGM.
