Roland. That would be nice, give a heads up when you decide! Grumpy. You need to relax a bit. Jim S. The "man" will be back around Easter! Don't think there is a new, NEW!

Check Out Our New Verizon MIFI Benefit!
manholt replied to larrypennington's topic in Membership/Benefits
Reese. Been there 3 times before, once with the FMCA Swinging Golfers and twice with Lone Star. Last weekend was also Lone Star! Before I found Tyler oaks, I stayed in the parking lot at Sharon Shrine Temple. Everything seem to be working out for you/Verizon now....hope it stays that way! -
Roland. It's Texas! We got a lot of public golf and most are in the $25/$35 range! Not many in the $$$ range your talking about, unless it's semi private! Even then it's mostly $50/70. My handicap is between my ears! Wayne. Same, I got to a 12. Now it's probably a 24+! Linda had a 3...in October she was 1 under after 9 and that was playing with a old set of Pings that I have...For Christmas, she got fitted to a new set of Taylor made (men's), her drives average 240+, swing speed is 97.3mph! WBill. Have spent a lot of my life around Cajun's, I never gamble with them! We are spending 3 day's with a best friend, before the rally, in Kaplan, LA. He's now doing 96 acres of crawfish in his retirement from Chevron! Can I OD on Mudbugs? NO!! I love them.

High winds? When do you pull over and sit it out?
manholt replied to mweiner's topic in General Discussion
The only time I have pulled into a CG early, or a rest area, is in blowing dust/sand on I-10. Twice in NM by Deming, winds where way over 40mph. They shut down the Freeway! Zero visibility....Same thing, one time, between Barstow, CA. and Mohave, CA. No rest area, we all stopped on the road in both directions....had to replace my side windows after that one! Like big trucks (18+ wheelers) I just keep rolling along as long as I can see, when they start pulling off, so do I.- 30 replies

Jim S. So, did OP get the answer he needed from IRV2 or is this a new question? I would think Newmar Tech Dept. would be the place to go!
-
The 24 foot C is a lot bigger in regards to yours Mark. The 22 figure, is the length of the chassis, not the coach!
-
Joe & Brett. Catch 22? Think by now, we have depleted, snow/ice and rain removal on top of slides! Probably campgrounds also.
-
Wayne. I have played twice in the last 14 month's. Right now, my game is puuurfect par! Linda has played once in 20 years, that was in October 2017...5 over! I need a lot of practice, we are playing 2 day's with the Cruising Cajun's, starting March 11. We where invited to their rally!

Don't think you won, Joe. Herman passed right by! I have seen people come by and P/U stuff...coach comes back to clean site. No sewer hose, water line or chairs! A little bit of sense goes a long ways...carry a cone and leave it at entrance to site and spend 5 minutes putting $50+ bucks in a Bay! We used to do that all the time, back when nobody had a toad.

6 spaces for pull thru's....bet they are hard to get. I think my 45 would be hard to navigate in there! The rate $$$ is darn good.

Reese. Herman and I was just in Tyler, left yesterday from Tyler Oaks RV Park! I'm currently at Antique Capital RV Park in Gladewater, TX. -
Joe. That's a big difference. I have been wondering if mine is bigger than advertised, should be 150 and the generator will shut of at 1/4 of a tank, that = 37.5 gallons. Last Thursday, after using AH furnace on diesel for most off 3 weeks and showing 503 miles, I took 127.4 gallons! I did the math and it dose not add up, as the generator was still running! I'm on a Spartan K2 chassis.

bob. You can leave any day you want to. The 50A site that I was in last time was with water & sewage, I think (not 100% sure) all 50A is that way...I did put a Y on the faucet to share the connection! Enjoy the moment.

I never top off a fuel tank, gas or diesel. When the handle clicks, that's it. It goes for Lawn mower, MC, car, golf cart, coach or anything else that is fuel driven! It's not just ambient temp that will cause expansion, also there is the heat from the road surface, depending on time of year!

Now you know! Hope it works out for you.. We are going the opposite direction, after Gillette.
-
Rick. Do you also have a back up generator for power...electric off in storm?

My guess would be that it opens and closes a relay. Wacko! New idea for me. I would call Fleetwood Tech Dept. tomorrow or today, if they have a 24hr. # anymore!

Individual Wheel Position Weights At Area Rallies?
manholt replied to tireman9's topic in Area Rallies
nctox. Last time at Perry, we did not have 2,600+ coaches. -
It's a nice place! Played there in Feb of 1990...lot less people.
-
Yea, that's good size! Long horns can be a lot easier to get along with, same with Brahmas...they're gentle, like a Great Dan!
-
You don't like golf anymore or it don't like you? Roland, is trying to find a RV park, golf and good restaurants, within a reasonable distance of each other, for next winter! Lower Rio Grand Valley, has all of that, in the tri angle, between Harlingen, Brownsville and Edinburg! They also got wall to wall people....I can't handle that part. I need room to roam, that's why I don't have any use for Sub divisions where you hear the folks next door burp!
-
Don. Bad hose. I have my hoses and belts checked each year when I have engine and generator serviced. If yours was original from the day the chassis was built, it was 10+ years old. I use my engine break a lot on 6-8 degree hills, I also am in a lower gear!

Back to OP, that leaves the State Troopers and Escapees, that I know off.
