  1. That's not fair...fearless leader! I was going to say that.
  2. DFW. Has not been any warmer that in Burnet, TX. Been at this ranch since December, we ran away to the Camp in Three Rivers for a week in January and it snowed more there than in Burnet, when we left. Yes Sir, you do need heated tiles in the Bus. Just surprised that it and AGM is an option...I had a 2011 AB and it was part of the package deal...speaking of deal. If you don't get a minimum of 30% off on MSRP...Walk away! I got my first class A in 1967! On my 17th now.
  3. Wayne. I moved out and my best friend moved in with his 5'er, he had a cop's coach next to him (used to be next to me). Yea, they came in thru the back and did a number on a lot of 5'rs and coaches! Can't remember the year, but it was a facility on Hwy.99 East of I-45...I was there only 3 months, I don't like pole sheds and my 40 foot stuck out 10 feet. They got 3 RV's belonging to cops that night.
  4. Hi Norm, Welcome! I got both. Did not think I needed heated tiles in Texas and the other Southeast and Southwest states...glad I got them! Also wish I had them in my beach house.. AGM's, I have 10. 2 for chassis and 8 for house. You pay more for them, but you don't have to check the water level and they should be good for 7-9 years! What are you buying?
  5. Herman's going to get you for that one! After, he get's finished laughing and get's rid of the visualization!
  6. As Jim S. can attest to, it's nice to live in the Country, with acreage! You don't have to worry about parking...Herman has that also on 10ac. Mark, your in one of the few areas of CA. that allows RV parking on property or Street...I had to get a special permit from the City of Santa Monica and Brentwood, just to pick my Mom up...forget parking! That's just drive thru..$$$$
  7. Who would have thought it. Most are Labs or Shepherds! Bassets do have the nose... Joe. You bringing the dog to NM? Both of ours will be there.
  8. LMAO! Almonds? Smelling something burning and seeing a haze, is never a good thing in a coach! Not good in a house either, but your stationary!
  9. I don't miss much of what Wayne writes or says! Problem is, I agree with him & overkill.
  10. That makes sense. I tend to forget about death or illness...wish I could do the same with taxes!
  11. Per the campground for re- sales ad's each month in FMCA Magazine...there seems to be a lot of folks wanting out, rather than in!

When I had 19.5 tires, I used Firestone! Forget Galveston, they have trouble doing a trike, (as in pedal power) There is a Ford Car, light Truck and Truck sales at the junction of Hwy. 225 & Beltway 8, don't know the name.
  13. Jim S. When Linda and I was in Indiana last summer, we too found that the shops there (in the Decatur to Bremen area), was a lot cheaper than the norm! Makes sense, 90% of RV's are built there. DD69. You need to get in touch with Bill Adams, he's been searching to find a place to have his 40' XL Prevost painted, only top half of coach, but they want full coach price! Around $35K for 2 colors! Is that because of the name (Prevost), hummm?
  14. Sir, This Post is 20 month's old & is about Chapters in Chicago area!
  15. Check out the Storage facility in Rockdale, Texas, owned by Legacy Coach. There is one coming to California, this year!
  16. Currently, in a 100' x 45' Pole Barn on 50A....in Fall it will be a 70' x 40' Climate controlled barn for both coaches and toads, with full hook ups! Drive thru. About 200' from house.
  17. HEAVENBOUND. Welcome! What rig do you have? Make, Model, Year, would help on any questions you might have in future! Also, what part of this big Country you in? Carl
  18. I used to go to TT parks for their free gifts (all Coalman products), & listen to their sales pitch. It was a lot more than $585 and this was from 1976 to 1979. By then, we had enough sleeping bags, gas camp stoves, tents and ice chest's to satisfy all 3 kids and their Girl/Boy friends!
  19. On the back pages of the FMCA Magazine, you will find advertising for paint and remodel on coaches. CA and AZ. I spoke with James Stalling last October, between him and others, I came up with a $1,000 a foot average and that's 3 colors. So, on yours $40K to $60K depending on paint design and how intricate it is! You probably could find cheaper cost per foot as there are a lot of Mexican paint shops in both CA. & AZ. and some do fantastic work on cars...coach's? Good Luck and enjoy your travels!
  20. Joe S. Good Luck with the length. Get weight ASAP. Don't know where your going for Summer, just hope you don't get pulled over for your length.
  21. Only thing I can think off is a slipping belt.
  22. Richard. Only use distilled water.
  23. Snow Now-about 2 fly? Sorry, don't get it. Other than that, enjoy your summer! Welcome to the Forum, nice looking combo!
  24. I hope they put it in a better location than on my Tour. If you have both side and back camera, there will be a 3 way splitter, mine was behind the cabinet above the driver. Almost all cabinets in a coach (any make) has a fake back, use a flat head screw driver and insert in corner, bend the back out, it's held in place by a couple of small brads. Wayne, sorry but when I had a Tour, it was a KD 40'...no 42' or tag made....I have not kept up with all off WB/Itasca models...my bad! Dad.
