  1. Really nice to read about positive solutions! Way to much negative in the past 10 weeks! Thank you.
  2. JD. Welcome to the Forum! I got my last 8 in Eugene, OR....no State Tax & used FMCA Fleet. As for FL., no clue, just wanted to wish you welcome!
  3. I applaud Brett and Blake for sound logical thinking! The only thing, that I wish to expand upon, is the more mass behind a given mass, any force goes up exponentially with weight and inertia. Sort of like beans for breakfast, lunch and dinner, followed by the beer of your choice!
  4. Wayne. You need to remove the whole side panel, there should be some screws on the bottom and between dash and panel. Your short...
  5. bm. There is only censorship on this Forum, when a post becomes argumentative, dives into religion or politics, or someone is trying to sell something! In the case of multiple postings, it's consolidated under one & sometimes under a new link.
  6. In reference to the original question. Any vehicle will react differently or the same, depending on road surface. Mine does the same as Roland, just that inside the coach, the jars, bumps and pot holes are not transmitted as much. IMHO it's due to suspension, weight and tag axle. I hear it more than I feel it. Trust me, I have enough rattles and squeaks to share...no wind noise!
  7. I wonder what the expression of the driver & co pilot face was when that happened? Did that give you some food for thought, Blake?
  8. tm. Welcome to the Forum! The awning that I have is also a Carefree 14 foot and I agree with you, it does indeed retract in about 5mph breeze. I over rode it, and shut off the automatic retract system 4 years ago! If it's blowing below about 15mph, it does indeed bounce, but no harm done. When it gets gusty or starts to bounce to much, I retract it. Yes, there is a sensor on the roof right above the awning and it's wired in. Very few times that I can sit out in the rain, since normally with rain you get wind. You can do as Blake. I did.
  9. Neat idea & looks real good. Yours or DW? Blends well.
  10. Nope! I had read about it and somewhere heard that CC came up with a simple solution....expensive in labor.
  11. Fiat Abarth. 2,400 pounds net, 3,200 gross, track is 55.6/55.4, 16 inch tires!
  12. Joe. Bet your new Newmar, is hands down a 100% better ride!
  13. There is one where I-75 & The loop join, just South of Atlanta. If you clean up in NC, Just South of the Wilson Exit on I-95, you have Wilson trucking.
  14. I'm putting my $$ on the shut off valve....got the T-shirt along with WBill !
  15. I noticed on the same page, they have a in line with 2 screws, so you can take it apart...why? Is there a screen inside for silt?
  16. The other way, would be interesting...NOT.
  17. After 2 more hours of sleep, it came on like a light in the night. Thanks for verifying my light.
  18. Country Coach Affinity & I think that's where the fix came from.
  19. Would be nice to see a photo of it hooked up. Hope, we get a response soon!
  20. Blake. When you say "downstream", is that between the Fresh tank or pump to house? The only time my pump is involved is on the in coach water system. City water goes to Filter, then house. I have a brass ball valve that I put in 2 years ago, replacing the plastic pos. All flex lines.
  21. Ray. We left Harlingen, TX. 2 days ago, windy it was, but also 72 at 10am, got to Linda's Barnominium and Camp in Three Rivers, nice and warm at 76. Yesterday morning we had dense fog and cold, left at 10am in 52 degree and got to the ranch in Burnet, TX. at 2pm & 50! Cold front coming and I'll be back in low 20's again....Please, no more snow!
  22. dcarm1. Welcome to the Forum! Your biggest challenge is I-5 thru Oregon and N. California. Lots of slow curves (they are banked wrong) 45 to 55 mph, unbelievable amount of truck traffic. Since I know nothing about your driving habits or age, it's hard for me to answer, how long will it take you? It's 1,200+/- miles. For me, it was a whole day run from Seattle to Eugene, OR. There is a member on this Forum, that lives in N. Washington. He makes the run once or twice a year. Right now, he's got a Post called "Our miss adventure's"! If you click on his Avatar and send him a message , he would be best to answer your questions...goes by Huffy Puff. Good luck
  23. jen. What size & brand water pump did you buy for a replacement?
  24. Always interesting to see how something's are put together!
  25. He is an undocumented "Wet Back", If he won't leave on his own accord , Linda has a cousin in ICE. Insurance company is taking care of everything and Linda has her own Contractor! With 10 houses and a commercial property (Liquor store), you got to know the right people and be covered. Thanks, for your thoughts and concern.
