  1. Hey, Roland. Ohio is playing Ohio! At least here in Texas, we don't play with our self.
  2. Herman. I like bold letters, at least I can read without my glasses or cheater's. Roland, I stayed in that park a couple of years ago! Nice, that was the first time I saw barges on the river. Unreal how many and how wide a load is, being handled by 1 tug! No wonder those Captains earn the big bucks!
  3. Roland. I'm at Linda's place in the Hill Country (Burnet) of Texas. We will be looking at low 20's to high 20's for the first 3 days of 2018. We will be going into the bottom of Texas the 4th. I'm not putting fresh water into my tank until I get down there, my Aqua Hot keeps my whole system warm, but in those temps and driving, I agree with Herman that road is going to be colder than the ambient temp! RV antifreeze is going into Gray & Black tank tomorrow.....preventive maintenance!
  4. X3. Can't add anything.
  5. Brett. I would not recommend them. Linda called them after Chandler Rally, the Service rep was rude, crude and told her, we do trucks nor RV's. He also said that if she wanted to drop it off, they might get to it in about 3 month's time. Linda said that he was African American. She now use's a mobile service who comes to the ranch! They did an excellent job. One lives and does Houston area, including Galveston. The other partner, does and lives in San Antonio and goes within 150 miles! About 2/3rds the coast of Cummins for me!
  6. Eric. Where are you and where are you going to have the work done? Also, how many of the 1060 miles was delivery to dealer miles? Normally, it start's when you purchase unit and you have 15,000 miles. If warranty work was done in Oct. Then this is continued work on that item.
  7. FIVE. But, look at all the soap you save! Keigm. I have never used one. Sometimes I have FIVE's problem and not, but I always get clean! So, it's a matter of personal taste! Now, it does make it easier to keep the toilet bowl clean!
  8. Jim. Ventana and probably 400hp, your right about the cassis now, but his may have the Spartan Mountain Master or K2 if it's a 42'.
  9. Benny. I would not go against the advise of a friend who lives and has a boat there. Bet you could and should make a reservation ASAP as June, July and August are the most popular months! $68 and tax, is not a bad deal up there, for full H/U. Besides that the owners may be friends of your friend and you get a better monthly rate than we would. Tom Butler, on this Forum, has probably done more "Laps around North America" than most, and he still has not seen it all. LOL.
  10. Does that mean I can say "Go LSU/Tigers"! But not "Go Saints"?
  11. Pine Island, I'll take that now...we are frozen in TX. It's a shame, but I'm busy until 2030! Herman. The odds are really stacked against us even being alive in 2035, much less driving a DP! LOL. Unless you got a Cocoon in your pool, you forgot to tell me about.
  12. Synde. Welcome! Judgmental? I'm lost. Is that based on the fact that I'm too tall for a 190 or a 210? Or because I don't agree? I know a lot of folks who have a class B as a Toad, because due to height or weight or age or handicap, a "B" is more comfortable to drive around. Yes, it's towed by a 40-45 foot Class A or C...when you spend 6 to 8 months a year in a coach, you don't need "Cabin Fever"! As I stated above, I'm 6 foot 8 inches and 74 years old. How much time do you camp in a B? I hope you don't have the Mercedes Benz diesel. They have withdrawn from the American market and will not honor the warranty....it has to do with the B5-20 that is added to the diesel here! They don't use it in Europe. Sorry. Happy travels and have a healthy New Year
  13. TD. Welcome to the Forum! I'll have to agree with Jim, you can't expect any coach manufacturer to stand responsible for other components...they have their own warranty! I certainly do understand your frustration. Contact Newmar Tech. Number 5, 9 & 11 are Newmar. I suspect your Jacks are Power Gear by Lipper Ind., or HWH. They are both in business and will support you. I have the former and very seldom use the Jacks as I also have air leveling on same system. When Jacks fail to work, it's mainly because of Hydraulic Fluid level, a leak in Hydraulic line or connector or a relay....the Tech Dept. can help you resolve the issue. I have most of the components you have and mine is a 2010 American Coach 45, Spartan K2 chassis, 425 Cummins. I have spent a lot more $$$ keeping it happy than you have. It is after all a rolling earthquake, not a regular house. Most things on your list, we can help you fix it. By doing it yourself, you'll get to know your coach and save you $$$. Happy New Year
  14. Herman. I'm amazed. Did not know you could write more than 3 lines! Nice story!
  15. If you have pet's use seven dust.
  16. Ray, stay warm and safe...you'll have a cold front starting Monday, we are expecting 22/29 and wind for first 3 days of 2018...In the hill country of Texas, that's unheard of ! Global warming, where?
  17. Rick. Looking forward to it. Bundle up next week...it's going to be cold. Happy New Year & Birthday party!
  18. Ed & Joan. Welcome to the FMCA family! We all don't have kids...I'm one. I'll post a couple of friends, they do and are down there each year! I would hate to re turn a Thank you on 75K cards! Happy New Year!
  19. Joe, Kay, A lot of the ranch real estate folks in Texas, dust their boots and pant's leg in Sulfur powder, in the summer, keeps the chiggers away. I know that works, I used it at Linda's last May and no chiggers, her son forgot. Man, he looked like he had taken a bath in Poison Ivy oil !
  20. Jim. I don't recall ever seeing 35" wipers...don't think you'll find them at WW, CW....$19.95 an inch maybe!
  21. Easier than a Wrangler? Takes me 2 minuets top, to hook up or un hook. Glad your happy!
  22. Jim S. You'll get no argument from me about bottom mount. They do a much better job in the rain and easier to work on! My blades are 32", I'm thinking a 30" would work better as it would be more stable when rolling. A lot more wind up above, so mine tends to lift in middle and does not remove the water in a 6" swatch from center of arm! You really have 35"? That takes a lot of Hamster power.
  23. PW. Welcome to the Forum! You should have no problems with your GC, the problem has been with the newer models and especially the Cherokee!
