  1. Also, the LE has a 100 gallon fuel thank. I guess that alone should not be an issue!
  2. TT. "Former Military and being observant"? You should know that everything is relevant to your MOS. As for the rest. If your looking for it, you seem to be, your going to find it. I have stayed at the Blake Ranch RV Park, behind Petro off I-40, top of the hill, east of Kingman, AZ. the same one your talking about, for month's at a time, between 1996 and 2007...Never had any such incident as you describe! I was an associated member of Kingman Elks 457 during that period. Also the Kingman 4 wheeler club and we covered every trail of off roadeing for a 100+ sq. miles...nothing. Same with Ajo, AZ. and the Sonora Desert (they are out there, but then I'm not, at night), it's the El Chapo drug corridor, from Mexico Hwy. 2 to I-8 and beyond. Closes encounters I have with illegals, is them coming on my or my neighbors property in west Texas, NE or Del Rio. Seen their lights at night or maybe it's Customs. Never anything missing....I'm there for about 10 days hunting a year! I keep a 30 foot bunk house trailer there, got electric, well water and septic...have never in 37 years locked the door! Guess I'm not the Paranoid type!
  3. TT Good for you. No re generation and no DEF! I don't use DEF either, my chassis is December 2009 and coach is January 2010. I have used DEF, my previous coach was a Allegro Bus 2011.
  4. That's the Escapees Park and they do a good job, I have used them before, but never camped there. I just called and made an appointment. Ray, you maybe right about the ride height, as the unit is portable and I have seen it in use at the camp site, drive onto scale then back up...think that would give a bad reading.
  5. Your Solar cell is probably still good, but it's not hooked up. I have the same thing, it was suppose to keep my drive batteries charged. Why yours and mine never got fully installed? That's anybody's guess! Send a PM to rsbilledwards, he'll help you! Happy Christmas Season
  6. TT. What part of Brett's response, did you not understand? Don't push it.
  7. Where are you at or how cold is it outside? When I'm camped in Winter where it's cold (very seldom) I put the block heather on the night before I leave...ain't costing me nothing! As for the length of time, have you checked or replaced your thermostats? Normal for heat pump is 38+/-!
  8. Wayne, you forgot detailing with a tooth brush! I still remember my first 3 days of basic at Lackland AFB.
  9. Collins Bakery in Corsicana, Texas is world renowned for their Fruit Cake...It's the only one I will eat, not a brick! My family in Norway and in Sweden, get's a couple every year!
  10. Well, as Brett would say..." give the OP a little more time", it's Christmas! Maybe he went on a week cruise, like Brett did...
  11. Saw that one coming! MacDill in Tampa, FL.
  12. Herman. Agree! But the narrative during and after, did not help!
  13. I'm not much for pools, but Campground America Resort may have one...it's on top of hill, off of I-40 W. Also, there is KOA off I-40E close to the Casino! Of course, every Casino has a pool. If your staying in RV park on casino property, then you have full use of their facilities, Isleta has a pool, gym, spa, buffet and restaurants.
  14. timetraveler. It would help all of us if you would list your make, model, year and Diesel or gas, in your signature...look under my first name! When you say your pre DEF, only means that your diesel engine is pre 2010. This has nothing to do with a gasser!
  15. Synde. Welcome and Merry Christmas. No and they don't give one to Good Sam or Escapees either! Your best bet is the internet for competitive pricing. Also, you can send a PM to Bill Edwards, he's the Solar Guru on this Forum. Just click on his Avatar and you'll see message, click on and enter the fields with a red asterisk. Good luck.
  16. Joe. Also, do the Gondola ride up to Sandia.
  17. I like them both. Isleta is nice and quiet, was rebuilt and re opened this June/same with the Casino. But as a first timer, Bill's choice do get you close to "Old Town" and that is a must see! Santa Fe is a easy day trip and worth the drive in the toad.
  18. Barbours. Welcome and Merry Christmas! Are you and the coach at home or in a Campground, also what part of the Country?
  19. Pollack. Welcome to the Forum & Merry Christmas! Does your engine have a C9s designation? Where is your Beaver sitting, campground, in a Garage, outside in snow or warm part of country? You can ask CAT to help with cost. Problem is that your engine is a 2006, CAT stopped making engine's for the RV industries due to the 2007 mandate. Beaver went belly up in 2007! Your 2009 Roam is a 2006! If you can't drive it for a minimum of 25 miles, DON'T START THE ENGINE...not driving does not lubricate anything and leads to moisture in crankcase! I suggest you read this entire Post fro m the begging (scroll to top of page) to this point.
  20. Linda and I saw a 5'er pull in across from us in Bremen, IN this summer & it was a gully washer. They got out of a FL60, ran to the RV, started the Generator and had slides out in about 5 min. Rain was over in a hour. They came outside, he had the 5'er level and plugged in to shore power, while she disconnected and pulled truck out...10 minutes tops! That's what it takes me, when the rain stops! The next day, they hooked up water and sewage, lifted each leg in turn and placed a 18"x18" pad under each jack and fine tuned every thing. That afternoon in the rain, we had HH with them! They live 12 miles East of Linda...
