BillA. Stay away from Buckee's in Mansfield, TX. I-45N...cost me 2.499, I asked why so high, we are in Texas was the managers answer. OMG, headquarters and the founders are in and Texan...I told him that Buckee's on I-10 in Lulling is $2.199 and I would call the main office.

Do you have the schematic for the new TS ? What you had is a simple system.

Only one way to find out !

Depends on how big your rig is and size of fuel tank. I start looking at about 650 mile mark and I always use a Truck Stop...that's on Freeway! Secondary roads are trickier, so I use the same as Brett and start looking around 450 miles! I got a 150 gallon tank. Carl

I like the ride of my Spartan K2 a lot better than FL or Powerglide!

Bill. That stuff is on my roof...Per American Coach, you need to wax it once a year and that will make it shine. If you don't wax it, it will do like mine is doing, weeping white rivers down the side off coach each time it rains or heavy fog. Send me a PM for more info! Carl

We called them Eyebrows ! Mine was a 67' Winnebago, I bought it new at the LA, CA. Auto show for $8,300 ! All I remember is that it was a rear bath, 2 narrow bunk beds, booth Dinette that made into a small bed, a barrel chair and a bed that came down from the celling in front !

RSBill. I was at Hermans rig in Chandler, he showed me your great location, less trailer! Told me the story, I too wanted to get together more with you at Verdi, just ran out of time. Linda and I plan on being at the next Diesel Club Rally. And Indy for a few days...we fly out to Norway the 14th so will have to leave Indy the 13th! Carl

Let's get back to keeping things here that is off subject. It makes the moderator so much happier! Carl

Kay. Yes, back then, there was still more 30/15 in RV parks, than 50/30/15A.

DD69. Did not know what coach I was looking at, but it looks good and I really like the colors! We did have some strange named coaches back then! I don't remember a Lifetime, was that the Manufacturer or model? I love it when I see some older rigs still rolling along. Carl

Glad to hear that your DW also knows how to drive rig...that's a big + !

Byron. I had a 1997 Allegro, gasser with 2 AC's , 30A and a Onan 4.0, just depends on how the coach is wired. I turned off A/C's to run microwave/ convection, same when I was on heat pump! Carl

John, he has not come back with the other test results yet.
-
Byron. If I read his March 23rd post correctly, they are going to Idaho for the warm months (good for them, a beautiful state) and Pahrump for Winter! Jumper. Sounds like a good plan to me, and welcome to the Family Motor Coach Association! What's the DOT year of your tires ? Also suggest you get some covers for them to protect against UV while parked for more than a couple of days! Good luck Carl

Your Eaglet is not on a K3 chassis?

A 1988 gas anything, was probably a 4.5 !

My 10KW is constant speed, the most noise I have ever had, even running down the Highway...each time I get to a Custom Check point, I pull over and turn off AC's, then Genny and resume my approach to the agent, I can hear him, he hears me. Never have I been asked "why did you pull over?" Then upon leaving I do the same in reverse. ObedB. At the house, on it's own slab, I have a 18KW Generac it runs on Propane and checks it's self each week....my neighbors can't hear it and neither can I in the house above the garage. Cheaper than Onan! The last time I filled the tank, is when I bought the Generac, in March 2009...almost 6 months after Hurricane IKE. I have both Electric and Natural Gas at house, the gas was shut off a week after the storm past!

Or under filling by a quart .

Joe. Yes and very! Door awning is over $900...my coach came with one, the engine crashed, called to have one sent to Mexico, Stopped making my model# about the time my coach was built.. But I could have a new one for above price +s/h and export/import fees to Mexico...It would come from Mexico Factory to USA and back to me in Mexico!
-
How much would that have coast me?
-
Doug is not going to be dry and warm up there. Don't hold your breath!
-
Pray there will be no more withdrawals ! After almost 3 years, don't hold your breath... Sorry, Brett. I have a long clear memory!

Take 59 to Loop 99, just south of Splendora, it will lead you to 59 in Sugarland, you will save about 70+ miles and downtown Houston. As of March there was no Toll charge and it's 90% Freeway with very little traffic! Carl
