I-40 Across Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma

Joe. I'm not allowed to use that kind of language on this Forum! -
I have 2 Magnum 2,800 on my all electric coach! Never had a problem.. One 2,800 with 4 AGM 6V is for my residential fridge, electric stove and micro/convection oven. The other for Clothes dryer, Aqua Hot, TV's etc.

Scott. That's been my main question, since this whole thing got started. Who stands to gain? What do they gain? If it's not RV's, then what? Carl

Did you get around to getting weight? The coach!
-
twoteds. Welcome to the Forum. Really would help to know, what year, make and model of coach you have?

I would suspect that a lot of road money, goes for other projects! The main thing that I don't understand, why widen a Interstate from 2 to 3 lanes, when you know that you'll need 5 when you gat finished with 3! There are so many roads that needs fixing, so it can't be a job security issue! You could spend the next 40 years, just doing I-5 in CA! -
That don't leave much room to carry all the comforts for 3 woman! I can picture, you running around with a pair of shorts and one T-Shirt...women pack to much stuff and with 3 off them, they don't make a coach big enough...

My toad is covered by the roadside assist that comes with my USAA policy, $23 a year and it works! Coach is now covered for assist via Progressive...have not used it, so I can't comment. Forgot the amount.

Brett...Total agreement here! -
hyco2000. Welcome to the Forum! Now, that you have read it all, I hope you understand why we did not want to start over, under general discussion! Motor Home is the generic description of Class A, C, B and Conversion's! Motor Home is any unit that has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area, that you can get to from the driver seat in an upright manner, with out going outside! The group or chapter that I represent as National Director, was fine with the original proposal of a separate unit for towable under the FMCA umbrella...now, they want no part of the current proposal as we don't need another Good Sam! Or another Escapees! I'm a member of both. There is no difference between Class A, C, or B, gas or diesel, we have the same inherent problems! There is, however, a huge difference between what you and I have and a pop up trailer, Casita or a tear drop! Carl

Yea, pack a lunch! You got almost 18 months to read thru! We are not starting over here. What happened to the food tread?

Herman, Linda and I are will call. Ross. Thank you...now I know where you stand on the issue! -
Dennis. How much does it weigh? My rig is all electric, no propane except for the little green bottle's that screw directly into the Weber! A foil tray with/or without water and wood chips will give any grill with a lid, the ability to smoke meat. Joe, where you put all that stuff, is beyond my imagination!

Wayne. Try it now! I am happy they are working on roads again, even secondary's! -
Welcome. DOT and look for any cracking of all side walls. I would be more concerned about the low mileage...when was the last time it ran down the road? Maybe one oil change in 17 years.

Welcome to the Forum! Before you bought the Cherokee, did you ask if it could be flat towed? We have had so many problems with the " Death Wobble" on the Cherokee, I have to ask. Jeep GC is no problem. Carl -

Yes, it is! -
Kay. Just had dinner about 2 hours ago. I had to use, what we call Saint Louise Cut pork ribs, 2 slabs on Linda's 3 burner Webber gas grill. I put on my dry rub yesterday and the ribs was on 280 degree indirect heat for 2 hours. Moist, and good. 9 very happy folks ate every rib...we are leaving in morning! Oh, nobody wanted sauce. It's hard to do the pit, when you only have one hand to work with!

Agree! Now, back to OP. I-40 is on/off in AK and fair to poor in OK to 40 miles from Amarillo, TX. From there west bound to Barstow, CA. is pretty good. -
Linda and I, carry the Webber 200 for grilling ! At home, everything is Low and Slow...my favorite is a Pitts & Spits, SS, holds 2 Briskets, 14 Ribs and 40 pounds of Sausage! Linda has a Traeger and its now her favorite!
