What we desperately need in Texas is Expert Mobil RV service...Linda had one come to her house and did what Cummins and Freightliner gave her an estimate of $1,250 + Tax, for less than $650, she got her own Air dryer canister and replaced it herself from NAPA for $178. Last week she got 2 starter AGM's and 4 house AGM's, She had new Acid's installed in Sept. 16'...they now live in a golf cart and a 50hp tractor! Joe you should Goggle a cross section of RV park's... Same wit house cost

Joe. Have not stayed there! Don't do $100 per day, anywhere! Sanibel/Captiva is a must see and experience that all the women in your life will enjoy,,,also, some really good food. Get a day parking pass...it will save you a lot of $$$ ! Parking tickets are expensive! Leave Alli the Gator alone in the Campground !

CarlAda. Are you running 295's for all 8? When I got mine in August 2014, I used Superior Tire Service in Eugene, OR. 541-744-2000 have you tried them? I replaced my steer tires with XZA2, 315/80R and 6, 295/80R. Took them 2 days to find the 295's ! I will use them again! Carl

fagnaml. Annual? For air drier replacement. You should not have to replace it. I have mine looked at every 2 years, had the filter replaced in November 2015. On my coach it back blows by itself, gets rid of any moisture. Yours may be different. 2 other DP's I had, I had to open the air manually every time I left a campground...lots of times I would leave and go find a place to pull over and do it. Nobody likes to hear that noise at 7 am! My Significant Other replaced hers 3 weeks ago, got it from NAPA $178. She has a 2006 Tiffin with a CAT 380. fagnaml. Herman did not mention it, so I will...FMCA Six State Rally starts October 24th and I'm the golf captain and we will be T-ing off at 9 am the 24th at a very nice Resort in Texarkana. As the ND for Swinging Golfers Chapter, I will guarantee you will enjoy yourself ! No, I'm not anywhere near your age, and I don't have a 6 handicap anymore but I do know what I need to know to throw a tournament. I'm also probably, one of the few 74 year olds in FMCA that have taken 90% of the 4x4 trails in the San Juan Mountains of CO. over the past 5 years. Since I have young and older than me friends on and off Forum. I'm listening and trying to understand what we need to build membership and satisfy the younger generations. Carl

Barkley, your not the first to notice that....something has changed in the last year or 18 months! No answer from FMCA.

Welcome to the forum! You don't say where your at. I would call and make an appointment with a Cummins Service center. They can take a sample of your oil and Transmission fluid and send it in to a lab that will tell how healthy your system is, at the same time let them check out all belts and hoses, change oil and filter, fuel filter, fuel/water separator filter, lube chassis and make sure they lube the u joint on drive shaft until it is visible, then wipe off excess. Check screen on Allison and check coolant to see if it needs changing (probably not). Have them look at air dryer filter and replace if necessary. Look at the DOT # on your tires, 4 digits=week and year of manufacturing, if over 7 years, get new tires! If 5 or 6 years old check for hairline cracks in sidewall, also an indicator that you need to replace. Have you looked at the roof? If not, do so and look at all that is up there, if you see any caulking that is dry and cracking then scrape it away and get some Dicor and re caulk. Check for pin holes and fill with caulk. The last thing you want is water in your sides or under roof, that can get real expensive quickly! Other than that, go have fun and remember that a diesel don't like sitting around, so if you cant use it or are camped for 3 or more weeks, disconnect and drive it for 25+ miles to get the fluids moving around ! Since it has not been used much. Fill the fresh water tank 1/4 full, then add a gallon of Hydrogen Peroxide 3% ($4 at Wall Mart). Let sit 10 minutes, then open all faucets and run the mix thru. Close faucets and let sit 10 minutes...meantime fill water tank full, then open all faucets again and run for 10 minuets. I do that twice a year and have no problems! Since my park water hose is on a reel, I draw out about half the hose and pour a quart of HP3% in 4x a year, connect to faucet and send enough water in to get outside shower to work, shut off and let sit about 15 minutes, then I disconnect add my filter and reconnect. I hate using bleach, it's a waste of good water!

FIVE. I know, and that is the reason I went with my card game buddy, he is a Progressive owner/agent and so is his daughter. My bill was cut by $1,880 ! Bill told me, there is a 23% kick back to USAA. The USAA of 55 years ago, 25 years ago, is no comparison for USAA today! Today they will take any rank from E-1 up! Used to be an officer! Times have changed and we don't have the draft no more!

The fuel tank and on some units, tanks are located by the step for entry into cab! Carl

The other issue that comes up, you can only use it when camped and on 50A. I doubt that you have a 10KW Generator! Like I said $$$$

Dyson has a portable ac unit that will do about 300 cu. feet, multi speed and quiet, I think it's around $450+/- No venting required.

Your separator should have a button, usually on bottom that you can press and it will allow water to drain out, until your just getting fuel. Very seldom anyone gets bad fuel these days, just fill up at truck stops that you see a lot of 18 wheelers! Your engine and chassis is probably a 2014, If you still want details call or stop by a local Cummins Service Center. You can also get the information on Line. Have a great trip

Bungapads. Welcome to the Forum! Is it possible? Yes....but not cheap! We all have problems keeping cool in "really hot places"! When I'm in a campground, in a area that has high humidity and 90+ degrees with no clouds, I let all my day/night shades down in coach! I set the 3 zones at 74 and leave! Good time to go sightseeing, catch a movie or a museum, go shopping in a mall or Home Depot, Lowes. Leave your slide outs in, until you get back. Since you have bunk beds, I'll guess you have kids, go where they want to go! I try to stay above 7,000 feet in the hottest part of Summer or along the Western or N. Eastern coast line! I would not spend thousands of dollars to add a AC unit. Carl

I called in my registration and made sure that they recognized me as a ND and I'll be there the 10th, early....a lot of confusion from the lady that I was dealing with, she had zero knowledge about EB or GB or ND's. Now she does! Note to all National Directors and Alternates. Go to FMCA. com and click on member/governance, re read or read for first time the Constitution and By-Laws...You are responsible for all members in your Chapter! If you are a first time delegate, make sure you also read the procedure booklet that will be in your registration packet. You can also read it on line under governance! If you can avoid it, do not have it held for Will Call. This will probably be the most important election and change (maybe) since the founding of FMCA ! If this is your first time as a AND or ND, then please call or send a mail to your Area Vice President !!! Carl

Bosun, Welcome! Great looking rig and really like your "toad", to be. Speaking of your toad, you don't need a base plate to tow it. I have a Roadmaster 6000 and I use my "D" ring connection to insert pin...all you need is electric and a supplemental brake for Jeep! Look under my name and you'll see how I tow mine. RSBill. There was towables at Chandler. From what I heard, parking them in Electric section was not easy and they where fifth wheel ! Wayne. I understand and respect your thoughts. The only thing I really don't understand, is how this is going to lower the age level? Young folks, under 45 are not going to Rally's, or if they do, it will be on a day pass, to go see all the vendors and get what they need. You don't need to be a member of any club, to do that ! Since the high tech and internet, have been around...every Club, Association and Fraternal Organization, you can think off, has suffered in obtaining new and young members! How can we FMCA, turn that around? This is only my personal opinion. We need an Executive Board of 45, or younger members and the same with Governance (National Directors) ! Business meetings once a month, done via Internet (same as major corporations do). Annual meeting at FMCA Rally, before the opening day of Rally! Don't spend money on Consultants...most of them have grandchildren and no more clue than I have! My 2 cent's worth! By the way, Good Sam and Escapees, are having the same problem as we are!
