Had a mouse problem once, ironically it was also the only year I covered the coach. here is what I use; Pour the oil and soak the cotton balls in these containers. Place them in each compartment (both sides) on top of each tire. The ones on the tires I place a stone or two for weight inside also. the oil you can buy from Amazon or most stores.

Five, same as you mentioned above is all I do, in fact did it this morning before work. I don't have the valve you mentioned, only one temperature valve on our model, it requires taking the covers off and the burner out for access. If that needs to happen monthly, ill replace it when it breaks.

Glad you said it

Great photos Bill!! Thank you Joe

Thanks everyone for the great information. Once #2 child heads off to college just the DW and I will be off to see this (3 years). Bill A, sorry for your loss . On a positive note that is one of the best photos I have ever seen, what a background,,,,,, WOW!!

Maxwell, I have noticed if our seals don't flip and it rains hard, they will channel water to the interior. When ours don't flip I manually flip them with a tool I repurposed for this task.

This post got me to do some digging, snooping deeper into the slide construction on our coach, thinking maybe being proactive would be a good idea. All of the videos I watched, none look like our slide designs on either slide. So I looked into the plates, sent photos to the manufacture and got this response; Your slides are a different design than the newer models. They can make plates for it if I choose to do so and walk me through the installation process if I want to go that route but it would all be different. The other thing I found interesting, all of our slides roll onto Stainless steel plates now opposing the rollers, I have no idea if it came this way or it was modified. I will say, if modified I don't have a receipt from the previous owner, and that guy kept everything but fuel receipts in labeled files and I've got all of his files.

Carl, same problem with our 2nd dog. She was beaten, has scars from it, very sad, I can't figure people out, she is an absolute sweetheart. We got her in July 2016 and she wouldn't let me near my wife for at least a few months without coming at me, she has gotten much better since, now she licks my arm to let me know she's watching when I get near my wife.

Where is a good place to park the coach during this festival? So park the coach and drive the toad in? This is on DW's bucket list, just a little preplanning......

I found the post on Facebook and copied and pasted the Cummins expert advice above, the specifics and detail was outstanding! Information like that is too good not to share. Someone on there can benefit from it. If any of you are on Facebook "MONACO RV OWNERS GROUP" is the page it popped up on. I don't run the engine as I have no means of getting get up to operating temperature, with that being said the potential damage would be worse than any gains. After the first precipitation up here the roads look like the Bonneville salt flats, every time there is any chance of precipitation in the forecast they go RAMBO and recoat everything with salt brine then another layer of salt, there is no way Ill put our coach on corrosive substance's, I was lucky enough to find this coach with a previous owner more of a fanatic than I am with stuff like this, anyway It gets so bad the roads become dusty . So dusty the fleet at work always has elevated Sodium in the oil analysis in the winter months, yep it makes its way in there via air intakes, scary stuff!! I do run the generator and Aqua-Hot monthly.

This topic comes up often. I was told to avoid the I-95 tunnels in Baltimore harbor, here are the regulations. Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) govern the transport of hazardous materials across our toll facilities. Under these regulations, vehicles carrying bottled propane gas in excess of 10 pounds per container (maximum of 10 containers), bulk gasoline, explosives, significant amounts of radioactive materials, and other hazardous materials are prohibited from using the Fort McHenry Tunnel (I-95) or the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel (I-895). The Francis Scott Key Bridge (I-695, the Baltimore Beltway) is a convenient alternative route for crossing Baltimore's Harbor. We crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel once in the old coach, I was told at the toll booth to shut off all propane appliances and close the valve on the tank prior to entering the two tunnels.

Our coach has three, one First Alert brand and two Kidde, none are plastic handles all aluminum. Thanks for the post Tireman! It reminded me to walk out and take a look.

That would be nice to have a year end edition again....

Good, when you are done with yours tell me the secret to sewing the pouches onto them. I already found the magnets on Amazon or I'll mail them too you for a winter project

The "good" was a bit of a surprise also, my issue, it gets so darn cold up here it wont reach operating temperature without a load on the engine. With that being said its going to sit. I guess with my Fass fuel pump I can turn the key on and move fuel through the injection pump and back to tank, that is if I feel that energetic to do that much while I am in hibernation

Thanks Brett!

Carl, FMCA assist good reason, tire program, doesn't apply to them, Michelin and Conti don't make tires that small for trailers, unless they want to put Light truck or Passenger tires on their trailers, which I don't recommend...

Like these; Non clear coated satin finished, once they are dirty they remain dirty, you can polish them some what shiny but after a week they look like this again.

Bill, a few years ago I won the Lions Club holiday light contest in our town, our house looked just like those in the attachment. I even have a music system out side and the house blinked to the Christmas music on a light program that ran off of computer. I have a panel in the garage with two timers that feeds 24 outlets and would fill all of them up for feeds to the yard which split off also. Haven't decorated for at least 5-7 years now and as with lights like that I'd bet most don't work just because they sat for so long. The weather is too wet and warm in December anymore and since we have so many farm the wind is unbelievable, kept knocking stuff over and beating it up. Our garage attic is full of decorations and its a 30x28 garage ....Ill have to dig up some photos. Never decorated for Thanksgiving, tried Halloween twice, that sparked the DW to buy more decorations, stopped decorating after that

I made that mistake on a 09' jeep we owned a few years ago, thought I was saving a few $$ when I ordered the wheels, wow was that a mistake!! No matter what I did I couldn't keep those wheels shining.

What's sad about that, its not usually the pets fault, but the owners that are the real problem .
